Founded in 1987, Baka Beautiful has been providing natural hair care services and products for nearly 14 years to athletes, celebrities and others who have decided that natural is the best way to go. The word "baka" means "big tree with many branches" in Ghana, and it was during a visit to Central Africa that the Baka founder was inspired to name the business Baka after having her hair done by a member of the Baka tribe, who are the original herbalists.
