Curly Girl & No-Poo
The Curly Girl (CG) Method or No-Poo method is a hair care routine that avoids sulfates in cleansers and silicones that are not soluble in water, in all hair care products.

Silicones to avoid that are NOT soluble in water:
ingredients that generally end in -cone,-conol, or -xane
Exceptions are:
if "PEG" is in front of a silicone
dimethicone copolyol, lauryl methicone copolyol and hydrolized wheat protein hydroxypropyl polysiloxane
Harsh sulfates to avoid in cleansers:
alkylbenzene sulfonate
sodium laureth, myreth, lauryl sulfate, lauryl sulfoacetate
ammonium lauryl and laureth sulfate
ammonium or sodium xylenesulfonate
sodium C14-16 Olefin sulfonate
sodium cocoyl sarcosinate
TEA-dodecylbenzenesulfonate
Ethyl PEG-15 cocamine sulfate
Dioctyl sodium sulfosucciante
