Styling Tips

• You will want to either air dry your curls or use a diffuser on your hair dryer.
• Dry until you hair is almost dry
• Gently scrunch out the crunch
• to avoid the frizz of while scrunching some curlies use a little bit (pea size) of pomade on their hands

  Just bought this today. I tried it on slightly damp hair in combination with AG-Recoil put in while my hair was wet. So far so good as far as definition/curl formation. I also had my curl formation retained after having my hair in a bun at the gym while working out. We'll see how this works as the week goes on, but for now, I give it 4-curls!

  It's only ok, especially given the prices. Provides decent hold on my 2b/c hair and it's light weight. But it leaves my hair looking stringy. I have fine, but lots of hair, so that's not horrible, but it's probably not for you if you have thin hair.

  I like this mousse when I need some serious hold and control. I often use it over a leave-in conditioner. I get better clumping that way. Otherwise my curls are too stringy with the mousse used on its own. It dries with a crunch but is easily remedied by some gentle scrunching. It is a bit much for daily use, but I do like it a lot on days when I need my curls to last all day and into the night.

  This Mousse-Gel made my hair stringy looking and created a halo of frizz on top of my head. It also looked terribly flat everywhere else. I tried it with a few different cocktails (as well as by itself): with AG Curl Activator, with BioSilk Rock Hard Gelee, with Ouidad Climate Control, with Paul Mitchell Round Trip...nothing made it work for me. My hair is gorgeous everywhere except the top, where it's losing all of the curl - don't know why - I've had no kids, I'm 37 years old, and I've put a filter on my shower head to get the nasty chemicals out (I live in Tampa, FL - my hair was used to 28 years of *perfect* well water in a smaller town). So, it's difficult to say the least to find something that will work on the top hair AND the rest of my head, but this product didn't work for either. The good news is that, like all the other AG products I've used, it smells fantastic. I wish I could say something more positive, but it just doesn't work.

  I was hoping this would work great for me but it was only o.k. Curls were a little limp and stringy looking, not enough hold...more like a mousse than a gel.

  This product works really well on my daughter's 2a-b hair. The results last for days. It doesn't weigh her hair down and gives her soft waves and loose curls. Unfortunately, it didn't work as well on my 3a-b hair. It didn't have enough hold; my hair felt flat and fuzzy by mid day. For those curlies or wavies that get weighed down easily, I think this is a good product. It is also quite forgiving. If you use too much, you still get great results. It has very little crunch.
