I really liked this product, im a 4b/4c. I loved the smell, I loved the fact that I didn't have to put a whole bunch just a dime size amount and it kept my hair so moisturized but not greasy or heavy and shiny, loved it. Bought it from Walmart and surprisingly it was high there and I work and received a discount but other than that I love it and would definitely recommend.

I am in love with cream. It's so rich. It's thick but it doesn't leave a bunch of residue. My hair doesn't feel too heavy after using it. If you have this, there's really no need for the Twist Defining Cream.

This is my first holy grail for twisting. If you hair loves creams and gets weight downed easily you will love this. It is very moisturizing and twist outs are beautiful. It has no hold, so it is perfect for type 4 hair that typically does not need hold. This is the product by which all other twist and braid creams will be judged. I wish it was a little cheaper, but will only buy it with the 20-30% off sales.

Hair type: mixed, 3C/4A. I like the As I Am line very much and the CoWash is one of my staples. The Double Butter Cream is good but a little too thick for my liking. So I use it as a nighttime moisturizer, and the next day, my hair feels great. I hardly need to do anything to my hair the next day, because of the moisture. A little goes a long way. I also use it to set my hair in twists or braids. I get beautifully-defined kinky waves the next day.

I saw a review of this and had to try it.. let me just say OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! Makes my hair feel soft during these cold winter months and not greasy looking. I have used this in place of Miss J. I used it for my twist outs and my hair is very defined.. I re-twist at night with ease... Thank you As I Am.

This product is perfect for defined twist outs.. And it does provide moisture but I can get the same results for $10 with Shea Moisture's curl enhancing smoothie ...

This really is a creamy, rich, daily moisturizer. I use it to re-twist my hair and a little does go a long way. The combination of ingredients in the As I Am product line has helped my hair advance in the moisture retention category and I have gotten compliments on how healthy my hair looks and how fast it is growing.

I bought this the other day because the winter months dry my hair and split ends start popping up from every where. This product moisturizes my hair and makes it really shiny. It is thick but if you have thick hair that is thirsty that shouldn't be a problem.

I wasn't sure what to do with this product at first. I really am a combination of 3b/3c. The jar sat for a while until I decided to use it on my wash day on top of my leave in conditioner to amp up the moisture as my hair is very purous. I love it! My hair is much more soft and shiner. It's worth the cost. I have seen a great improvement in my hair.

As much as I try to get away from this product I can't. Use it before blowdrying and as needed for moisture. Even though its pricey it's one of my HGs

So far I like the product. It's a little on the pricey side.

I took me a while to figure out what to use this moisturizer for, but I am in love with it now! I have coarse coily and curly hair that is always thirsty for moisture. I tried to use this as a nighttime moisturizer before bed instead of baggying or adding water and sealing with a butter. I thought this would be a nice alternative because it has lots of yummy butters and oils but is water based. However, it really did nothing for overnight moisture. However, I used this product to do dry twists and it kept my hair so shiny and plump with moisture I was in shock! I sealed with Oyin Sugar Berries and my twists (and twist-out) were soft, so touchable, no greasy feeling. I had amazing shine and this lasted for 4 days. Probably could've been longer but I was ready for a new style. This is def my new staple twisting product for very high dews or probably low ones too. I also like that it doesn't have glycerin unlike their twist defining cream. Sorry to lead with the negative, this butter is awesome and smells delicious!

I like this product a lot. It smells nice, moisutrizes well and I don't have to use a lot for results. I used this for a twist out and my hair felt soft and conditioned. I just used small dollop through my old twist out to fluff and moisturize and my hair feels good. I know that I won't even have to add anything tonight when I retwist my hair.
I like the As I Am line.

Ummmmmmmm... No. I love the consistency, BUT it did not moisturize my hair. When applying it, it feels great like it is actually going to do something, but as soon it dries up, my hair does too. My hair ends up feeling like a Brillo Pad. Dry and stringy. It does well on my daughters hair, who is four, but not mine. I actually use the leave in as a moisturizer and it is much better. I give it two stars because I love the consistency and it is good on my baby's hair.

This product was too thick and creamy for me. The label does say "rich daily moisturizer" but I never need that much since I like my twistouts to be light and movable. Would only consider using this for slick, more rigid styles.

I love this!! It really moisturizes my hair, especially in the winter months. I have a real problem with dryness in the winter and this helps a lot. I like this a lot better than the Coco Spray. I love these products!!!! They are all I use now.

I LOVE this stuff. My hair loves this stuff! I love it so much I purchased it in the 16 oz container. I have very thick kinky, coily and curly hair. My hair loves it for twist outs, braid outs and everyday moisturizing. I gave it a 5 curls because, I don't have to use any other product after my leave-in when using DoubleButter cream!

This mess sucks. No slip, no conditioning, no moisturizing...no point. At all.

I abhor this product. Not only is it overpriced, but it doesn't moisturize my hair. I sent the whole order back for a refund. Don't waste your time. There are better products that cost less.
