I don't understand why this conditioner with alochol denat in 3d place works but it does, beautifully so, and yet, I have been avoiding alcohol denat for so long putting this on my hair does not come without a warning thought in my head. Yet each time it softens the hair, makes the styler (tigi) work even better and there is no dryness. I guess there is more than ingredients that make a product work for my 3b hair. Still a 4 and not a 5, mainly because I really am weary of the alcohol denat.

I love this conditioner so much! It's a lightly scented Honeysuckle conditioner the smell doesn't bother me too much. I used this on my mixed pattern hair (3b-4b) and it moisturized and left my hair SUPER soft. I bought this strictly for the herbal ingredients benefits and the price than I normally use. Its by far one of my favorites!

QUESTION: This has denatured alcohol in it which is bad for hair (drying). Can anyone explain why curly girls are using it and how it is not drying out hair? I would like to try but too nervous to put this much alcohol in my hair...

OMG I absolutely love this conditioner its almost instantly softens my hair and makes detangling a breeze. Its probably the best hair investment I've made in forever. Definitely will try other products from this line, I think I found my HG conditioner

It worked amazzzzing ! however i cant give it a 5 because it has Alcohol Denat which is Ethyl alcohol and it bad for your hair it leaves it dry and brittle over time .There are two kinds of alcohol used in cosmetics that can be drying to skin and hair:
Ethyl alcohol (also listed as Ethanol, Alcohol Denat or SD Alcohol)
Isopropyl alcohol (also listed as isopropanol)

I love how affordable, versatile and accessible this product is. This conditioner is usually $10-$13 and I can usually find it at the The Vitamin Shoppe, Yes Organic Market, and Whole Foods. It can be used as a rinse out conditioners as well as a deep conditioner. It's all natural is quite affective. My hair always is super moisturized, soft and manageable. I am always happy with the results. The scent of the Honeysuckle Rose is amazing. Major plus!

this conditioner is reall good. When i use it on my hair it's really Moisturzing, but when my hair dries up my hair is still a little bit hard but it's still better then other conditions. That is why i give it a 3.

I wish this conditioner came in a different container, but otherwise it's great! I really like it as a deep conditioner, and I will let it sit for a few minutes after shampooing. I mention the container because it is VERY thick, and it really doesn't squeeze out well from a stiff bottle and plastic cap once you get low. My solution was to put a little water in when it's almost out and use the slightly diluted version for the last wash. I was skeptical when they changed the formula, but I still really like it.

I have long thick fairly coarse hair, and this conditioner is the only thing that has ever truly made it feel soft and smooth. It can be a bit deceptive because while it's in your hair in the shower, it doesn't seem to be doing very much. But once my hair is dry, it feels amazing. Sometimes I use one of my other conditioners, and I definitely don't get the same results. I think everyone with coarse hair should try this at least once.

Love this product. I use it as a deep conditioner. I also use it in combination with SheaMoisture Anti-Breakage Masque and seal with olive oil. Gave 4 curls because I'm still on the hunt for the moisturizing deep conditioner that will steal my heart. This ALMOST did it, but not completely since I have to use it with other products to get great results. For my hair anyway.

I am an admitted product junkie. I am a blessed chocolatey sunkissed African American woman w/ naturally soft, shiny, super thick & deeply waved hair. I have no idea of my hair type but it may be between 3b & 4a. I use no oil or butters b/c my hair produces its own oil & high shine. Oil & butters just weigh it down. I can say that it takes hours to flat iron in full on fro mode & I've cried many a day during that process out of frustration & exhaustion. Still Im blessed with lots of natural shine & body to my hair but I digress :) Anywho I used to cowash but stopped for some reason. Likely because I found a new product. Well...now I'm on my way back to cowash after inspiration by the lovely Mrs. Mahoganycurls. I purchased VO5 moisturizing Freesia, Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose conditioner & L'oreal Evercreme intense conditioner (sulfate free). I began with VO5 & it was glorious. I rinsed then added Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose & OMG!! That stuff sucked the life out of my hair almost instantly. It became very hard, stiff & dry. Once i rinsed my hair began to shed like crazy which is NOT natural. I immediately grabbed a clarifying poo (was hoping not to shampoo at all) & washed it out. Afterwards my hair was still super dry & breaking & shedding. I couldnt believe my eyes. Well i then decided to do a heat treatment with EVCO & EVOO to put oil back in my hair. Next I re-cowashed. Needless to say I will NEVER buy Aubrey Organics again. All I'd read were rave reviews but my experience was devestating. Sorry..this is a NOOO not ever in this life time for me. Odd the $0.84 VO5 was a thousand times more luxurious than the $11 Aubrey Organics. Im an organic health inside & out kinda nut but Aubrey needs a warning on their products!.

This product is the bomb.com for my hair, which ranges from 3c (I think) to 4c. I've been looking for a heavier conditioner to replace Tresemme Naturals, which I am now using for Cowashing, Detangling and as a leave in. Perhaps when my moisture levels build up this can be relegated to just a deep conditioner. But for now it's my go to for regular conditioning. It feels nice, smells wonderful for a botanical conditioner, and detangles the hair slightly but it's definitely not slippery like Tresemme, however I didn't purchase it for that reason so it's a non-issue for me. This is definitely getting added as a new staple.

I was really excited when I first purchased this product. Smelled nice, light floral scent. However, it left my (3-a) curls rather dry feeling. Didn't have much slip to detangle with my fingers which annoyed me and I felt like I needed to use a lot of product to make my hair feel moisturized too. I used it twice and I really wanted to like it but it didn't work for my hair! Returned this product and will stick to my holy grail conditioner, Matrix Biolage- Conditioning Balm.

Its ok, I don't get the hype, at least when it comes to my hair. The formula is very dry feeling, like there's no much water in the ingredients. It adds average moisture but I don't get nearly any of the same slip I do from the White Camilla conditioner, I can finger comb with that conditioner on dry hair. This conditioner is just ok.

I cannot rave enough about this conditioner!!! (I rarely write reviews but depend on them quite often...might I add that I don't even use exclamation points that often). This is the first time in my twenty years (ha) of life that my spirally, coarse hair has been manageable, soft, bouncy, shiny, and so on, and not thirsty! I love this conditioner AND my hair!
I had been waiting to try Aubrey for some time for some reason, but this has changed my hair much, much, much for the better. It doesn't require more than a minute to untangle my sometimes-knotty hair and it is stunningly a tad bit too moisturizing some days, but I attribute that more to the summer than the conditioner. My hair was DRY before using this and now it's soft. I've always wanted soft, soft curls. Now I get them. :)
This goes great in conjunction with BoBeam's bar shampoos (which I also love and use two to three times a week). My scalp is also in much better condition than usual, but that might, in part, be due to the aforementioned. More exciting is the fact that I get second-day hair and even third-day hair if I'm lazy (accompanied by a satin sleeping cap) and I can untie my hair with absolutely no bumps or strange waves! This will definitely be a staple for me in years to come. I loved Deva One for a few years, but it smelled too much like Fruity Pebbles and my hair became too adjusted to it.
Other than everything else that I mentioned, the best part is that I have cut down on products from a handful (I have four to five inches past my shoulders when curly, elbow length when pulled down...my friends looove to "boing" my hair and I often get compliments) of gel and a creme/curlisto curl perfecter, or whatever it's called now, to A QUARTER-SIZED DROP of GEL (Deva). Nothing else! It's extremely impressive!
If you're on the fence or have just been waiting to try this like I was, get it. The price is great and it lasts for at least a few months.

(4a/b; very fine) I couldn't go without this stuff. I've been using it for years now and it always delivers. I used to just use it when I shampooed but recently I've taken to applying a smaller amount to my hair after I co-wash (As I Am!!!), letting it sit for a while as I finish my shower, and then I tie my hair up with a soft cloth (actually an old cardigan that I cut). I have to get the water out of my hair somehow and this stuff is just the trick for keeping the right amount in so that my hair stays moisturized. Otherwise it's too dry and I can't touch it without making it frizz like crazy. I've tried lots of products as leave-ins but this is the only thing that has really done the trick for my frizz-prone, fine hair.

I tried it once by curiosity and loved it for detangling and moisturise.

I've ordderd 2 bottles et deep condition with it by adding honey, monoi oil and castor oil, then co-wash with it and use it as a leave-in using the kimmaytube recipe, work really great as i'm transitioning to 4a curls.

I really see the best effect on my hair, the smell may be a little bit pharmaceutic buut it's okay as long as it does good to your hair :))))))

This smells nice and I really like the natural ingredients list but it didn't have enough slip for me and didn't feel moisturizing enough once I got out of the shower. I would consider diluting it and using it as a leave in though.

Posted by Tkhosh (Type 3b) on 04/19/2013

Oh how I took this conditioner for granted! I have 3b mostly (a little 3a and 3c as well) med-high porosity hair with med texture (to coarse, but that is mostly my grays of which I have less than 10%) If I use this conditioner as a rinse out following a co-wash with a lighter conditioner, I do not have to worry about using a really moisturizing leave-in. It has little slip, but that is not important to me because my HG product I use after this one has all the slip you could dream of having.

This is important for me because kinky-curly knot today is my HG "leave-in" which is not really very moisturizing at all, but does fantastic things to my curls...and has slip like no tomorrow so that is where I detangle. Someone said "like a hot knife through butter" with the kinky-curly and they hit the nail on the head. So, because of my dependance on the kc, I need my rinse out conditioner to do an exceptional job at moisturizing, and this fits the bill. I bought Aubrey's Camilla one last time, and it was not nearly as good at moisturizing my hair. I won't wander away again.

i think the people who don't like this product are using it wrong. don't sleep on this conditioner just because it has little slip! it's absolutely moisturizing! i used it as a deep conditioner on dry hair before my wash routine. my hair is touchably soft and it's been straightened for a trim. the conditioner smells like jergen's lotion but i don't care because my hair is seriously well conditioned.

When I first used this product I did not like it, so it just sat in my cupboard collecting dust,Until I thought hey maybe Ill give this a try again. This product works better as a deep conditioner, it has no slip, so you want to make sure your hair is drenched in water, or maybe use it with an oil but it is very moisturizing. I started to use this with some Amla oil and my hair just loves it. I haven't looked back since.

Be using this for 3 years, its the best conditioner I ever came across. Very moisturizing, provide enough slip to detangle hair in the shower, provide ultimate moisture for DAYS and is affordable. It also gives shine. Only down side is the smell and the product being so thick that I need to place it in a jar which is fine because I get to add oils I usually use like avocado and castor oil...but honestly this conditioner doesn't need it.

I really really REALLY wanted to like this conditioner :( I have a mix of 2b/2c waves that I recently destroyed with highlights.
The back of the bottle suggets that this conditioner is prime for those with similar damaged hair. I tried using it in small amounts, big amounts, leaving it in longer, always as a rinse out and....it never really did anything for my hair. It didn't leave it soft, it didn't detangle it, it did nothing. I'm giving it two stars because it didn't have any negative effects on my hair and it smells really nice.

Posted by marisameow (Type 3a) on 02/02/2013

Disclaimer: I just recently became interested in all natural products/curly girl techniques and this product was part of my first haul of all natural products for skin, body, and hair. Also, I consider myself very low maintenance and am somewhat unknowledgeable of all the complicated techniques and routines out there. So, there may be other ways to use this product for those people who embrace such routines.

But for my purposes, this product did not do it for me at all. I used it for about a week before I gave up on it all together. I bought this conditioner along with the Honeysuckle Rose shampoo as a replacement for my old Loreal EverCreme Sulfate-free system. I used this product the old fashioned way, as a conditioner after shampooing (Although I've never shampooed every day, usually wash every other day), and I even tried it with the co-wash technique. In both cases, detangling was impossible. I had to use ALOT of the (expensive) product just to get even a fraction of the slip I'm used to when I detangle in the shower. As for the results outside the shower, my hair looked just OK, no better than when I was using my old system. (Although I did also switch my leave in conditioner to a natural alternative so the mediocre results could have been based on that change as well.) But what really got me in the end was its ineffectiveness in keeping my hair clean. My hair started to feel and smell dirty at the end of the first day, which has never happened to me in the past.

Bottom line: This product made detangling a nightmare and left my hair feeling dirty after just one day. If you intend to use this product differently than I did, it may work for you. But in my opinion, this product was NOT worth the money, it was almost twice as expensive as my old conditioner and about half as effective.

I thought this product would be along the lines of GVP Conditioning Balm with its slip, moisture and ability to be a co-wash, rinse-out, a DT, and a leave-in. I wish I'd had the opportunity to try the "original" formula, because, based on the reviews here, I think this latest formulation that I have tried may appeal to completely different hair types from the types that loved the original. The original formula did not contain glycerin or sd-alcohol denat ((regardless of the source from which it's derived, (lavender, according to the ingredients list), alcohol denat is alcohol denat)), and it was much more oil-based than this new version. On my hair this formula is a light conditioner with some softening and detangling properties and a hint of moisturizing. It has a beautiful scent, but it does not linger in my hair. There's no way I could use this after a clarifying shampoo, because it doesn't have enough slip or moisture. It IS a lovely co-wash and/or rinse-out detangler. I have very dry hair naturally, and I live in Arizona, so my "deep" conditioning needs are pretty extreme. In a different climate, this conditioner may have heavier effects. Still - it's just not a rich conditioner, at all, and I can't picture it being enough for "brittle" hair anywhere. For rinse-out performance and scent I would have rated this with 4 stars, but this comes in a 12 oz bottle, and with the amount I need for one use, this bottle won't last long at all.

i must admit that at first i thought this product was overrated..coated my hair...made it white....and it just lacked luster...natural hair is already dull as it is..and it just made it look even worse...BUT it wasnt dry and brittle..very moisturized..and the smell is soooooo succulent and devine

i felt like it wasnt penetrating my hair like how the other women raved...soooo I USED A GOOD CLARIFYING SHAMPOO TO REMOVE ALL THE BUILD-UP from other products and applied this as a rinse-out conditioner and a deep conditioner and used the baggy method AND I WAS AMAZED..so much life, bounce, and received curls that popped

if you are a CG girl and use silicone/paraben/mineral oil/petroleum etc free products then this would be great for you without clarifying...if you are a product junkie or use products that have a bunch of "junk" in them then i would advise you to try this conditioner again after you clarify ur hair

i am now using it as multi-purpose product...co-wash/ rinse-out conditioner for when i shampoo my hair which is rarely/deep conditioner/ and a STYLER..i use this for my twist outs..i havent used it for a WnG yet

O-M-G...the moisture! My hair LOVES the Aubrey Organics products! And this is no exception, super moisturizing, thick, creamy. It has a light scent that i'm not crazy about, but it doesn't linger. This is a holy grail item I will NEVER be without!

Definitely not the thing for me. I was uber excited for this when I first bought it. The ingredient list made it look like a miracle treatment at the time. But when I used it, both as a deep conditioner and a leave in; my hair was dry, brittle and coated in white film. I learned the hard way that 'organic' doesn't always translate to good.

My absolute HG conditioner. Can use this as a prepoo, rinse out or DC. Multipurpose, imparts great moisture to hair, especially when left in as overnight treatment. I see a real difference in my hair when I routinely incorporate this into my regimen.

This didn't work for me at all. Not moisturizing enough and no slip. Seemed like I had to use a ton of product to get enough moisture and I don't have dry hair! I will not repurchase.

I absolutely love this stuff! I used as a deep conditioner, I also use Aubrey's Green Tea Cream Rinse as a detangler! And just as a side note: Aubrey has always had alcohol denatured (organic lavender) in their coconut fatty acid cream base, if it worked for your hair before it should still work for your hair bc it's the same products just broken down differently bc of new labeling standards. Maybe it wasn't as hydrating bc of the season? I suggest trying again when it's cooler outside. :-)

I absolutely LOVE this product. I am in the transitioning phase and this product has become a must have staple in my bathroom. I can literally feel it untangling my hair with my fingers as I am applying it. I still needs a comb, but I love that it starts untangling during application. It is not slick, but why would I need it to be slick if it is doing its job; untangling and moisturizing my hair. My little girls even prefer it to the conditioner I had for them because of how it untangles their hair. I have started using it on them and now there is no crying on the days I condition their hair. Their hair is somewhere between a 3 B/C. I also love, love, love how soft our hair is afterwards. The smell is kind of strong when you first apply it (kind of like a bottle of essential oils), but it honestly smells really good; at least to my family. My husband and I will constantly smell our daughters’ hair. I can also feel him smelling my hair while we are lying in bed getting ready to fall asleep.

I love this conditioner for my DC sessions. I've used it for baggying as well as steaming. Its super thick and although the fragrance is pretty strong it's not soo overwhelming that you gag; after a while I don't even notice it. It's a very thick conditioner but it's easy to apply as well as to rinse out. This is one item I'm sure to not be without! especially in the winter months...

Like the smell, and the conditioner was really thick. It did not have much slip, but sense I follow up with a leave-in conditoner that provides slip, that wasn't a deal breaker. My biggest goal is to add mositure and retain length. I'll give this one a couple more tries, but so far it's ok.

    I recommend it for transitioning

I'm low porosity, fine/medium texture, so maybe that's why I didn't take to this very well. It works as a conditioner, but I wouldn't call it "amazing," just average, especially for the price/amount. It gave me very little slip unless I used a lot; on my hands it was very silky but as soon as it touched my hair it's like the product disappeared! I will not repurchase.

I didn't really have a problem with this. It was fine as a conditioner or deep conditioner. It had a weird but not unpleasant scent somewhere between flowers and sunscreen. However, it didn't blow me away and I don't think it's worth buying online and paying for shipping.

After reading all the great reviews I REALLY wanted to like this product however, it was horrible on my hair. It did not moisturize and left me with no slip for detangling. I had to mix it with Aussie moist just to get enough slip to detangle my hair. Everytime I've used it I've gotten the same results. I got royally screwed on the price too because I bought it from my local whole foods store. I will try to get through what I have but will not be purchasing this product again...

So I tried this conditioner after hearing great things about and have to say it's not as great as everyone has been saying. I have to use a lot to detangle my hair and though it feels moisturized, my hair feels slightly crunchy. In addition, it makes my scalp itch and it kinda burns after using as a dc treatment. Def won't buy again. Will stick with my honey child banana creme scalp cleanser and conditioner. Womp.

I have been using this conditioner long enough to give it a 5 star review. The first time I let it touch my tresses was about 6 years ago and I was wowed by the difference it made in my dry and frizzy curls. This conditioner is THICK! Only a little bit is needed to condition your hair so what I do is squirt out a dollop and then take some water and emulsify it in my hands. Then I run it through my hair. It leaves my hair very soft and silky and when styled I have zero frizz. This conditioner is not the best at detangling, but the end results are well worth the tradeoff. The scent may be off putting to some, but I rather enjoy the floral notes of the honeysuckle. I'm also a person who is very picky about her scents and almost never like a floral scent if that says anything about it. And while I have tried MANY MANY conditioners over the past 6 years, I still go back each and every time to this one. Then I really truly realize what I was missing.

This conditioner is excellent! It's very thick and moisturizing, and it really brought out my curl pattern and made my hair super soft. My hair was getting really parched from the dryness of winter, and this product instantly transformed my hair! However, I do agree with everyone else about the "slip" factor. In order to detangle my hair in the shower, I had to mix this product with my Mixed Chicks conditioner. Bottom line: I HIGHLY recommend this product. (I hope I'm not writing this review too soon being I only used it once, but I am so impressed with my hair, I had to.)

I ran out of conditioner and saw this at Vitamin Shoppe and bought it because of the good ratings in CurlMart. I have to say that is does what it says. It left my hair very moistuized and my hair looks great. I didn't care for the shampoo but the conditioner is great and the best thing is that I didn't have to pay for S&H. I absolutely LOVE this conditioner. This is the first one I've found that takes away all of my frizz and leaves me with soft, luxurious curls. I did add some olive oil because it doesn't have a lot of slip to it, but it made my hair so easy to detangle, and I only used my fingers! That is a huge feat for me! My hair is very thick and long, and I've been struggling to find a conditioner that works well with my hair. I have to say this is it. It doesn't have the best smell in the world, but I don't find it displeasing. It is just very distinct. I highly recommend this product.

I have to agree with the majority on this one. This is the best conditioner and DT around. I have found like others that the slip isn't there but I have found a solution which will fix the problem and extend the lifespan of this product. I put a fair amount of AOHR in my palm along with a pea size amount of Matrix Biolage conditioning balm (little goes a long way) then rub my palms together and voila, instant slip, less waste and beautiful soft shiny hair. You will cut your product use in half if you use this method.

Whether it's a a DC, a leave-in (mixed with water) or for co-washing, this is great. My hair soaks it up. I lurve the smell of this stuff. Even though it can overpower my perfume, I've gotten a lot of compliments about the smell.

I use this conditioner (and all other AO conditioners) as a deep conditioning treatment for dry hair. Because for me, it works better as one. I think if anyone is not getting any good results by using it as a rinse out, then try it as a deep conditioner on DRY hair! Sometimes I leave it on for about 1-8 hours and my hair comes out nice and soft--really moisturized.

Gonna be stocking up on this before the price rises at my local organic shop.

I'll start by saying this is an excellent product for a lot of people. However, my hair hates shea butter and jojoba. This conditioner got "stuck" in my hair. An ACV rinse was able to remove the waxy build up (jojoba is technically a wax). This also has a very strong scent. I would have lived with the scent if it worked awesom for me, but it didn't.

I almost gave this 5, however the smell is a bit strong and lingers for quite some time after your hair dries. Other than that it is one of the best conditioners I have used/tried, and the price is right! It works well as a deep treatment also which means more bang for your buck. A little goes a long way--it's super thick and very rich. Not as much slip as I would prefer for detangling but not horrible either; you don't really see the magic until after your hair dries though. My hair is shiny and frizz free, I will buy this again! Worth the money if you can stand the smell, other than that it is superb!

I did not get a lot of slip but I am one of the lucky curlies who hair detangles with water so it isn't a problem for me. My hair was smooth and soft when I was done and is still soft the next morning. Two thumbs up!

I bought this based on the Best of the Best rating for a deep conditioner but was extremely disappointed in it. It had very little slip for me so I had to use a lot with every application. My normal conditioner (Ouidad Curl Quencher) is way more moisturizing than this. I like the ingredients and the fragrance but I ended up throwing out the rest of this. Didn't work well for me at all.

I found this product very moisturising. It is one of the few rinse out conditioners that I leave in my hair. I am happy to leave this product in my hair because it is full of natural ingredients which soften and smooth. For me, this product is a great moisturiser but it is not a great conditioner. I do not get enough slip from this product and it's not the best detangler for my hair (unlike Knot Today). I am also a little concerned that there are two different ingredient lists for this product. The first ingredient list is the one on this site and the other one can be found on the aubrey organics website: www.aubreyorganicsuk.co.uk/product/50576/honeysuckle-rose-moisturising-conditioner/

I brought my conditioner from a shop in London and it has both sets of ingredients listed on the product. I believe that the ingredients list on this website is a bit misleading because it does not specify what is inside the 'Coconut Fatty Acid Cream Base'. Some people like to avoid glycerin and there is glycerin in this product but the ingredients list on this site does not make that clear.

Nonetheless, I really like this product and I will continue to use it as a leave in.

This stuff is fabulous! Smells great, really moisturizes, and does not weigh down my fine hair. My one minor complaint is that it does not have great slip, so it's not easy to get it worked into the hair well. Works best if put on really soaking wet hair, then comb thru.

Hands down this is one of the best deep conditioners I've ever put in my hair! It's very moisturizing, and for my hair that's very hard to do. It doesn't have the slip of some other conditioners, but I still have been able to detangle easily enough with it. Also, I think the scent is lovely-- it's kind of sweet and floral, but not heavy. All the people who are saying it smells like pine or medicinal-- i think you guys MUST be talking about AO White Camelia, whose scent I cannot STAND! Seriously, if you have dry hair, you should really give this a go.

I was really excited to try this. Okay, I'll admit it: I drove two towns over just to pick some up at a GNC store. Totally not impressed. The smell was just awful, although I might have been able to overlook the scent if it actually worked as well for me as everyone else. It's too thick in the bottle, and when it finally does come out, it doesn't seem thick enough. I didn't seem to get the slip everyone else raves about. Putting this on my hair was comparable to putting a thin layer of sickeningly sweet-smellng Crisco on my head in the shower. Not happy with the results.

    I have fine, 3b hair, shoulder-length hair.

While this condish did define and detangle my curls, I didn't find it moisturizing enough. My hair would feel coarse once it dried.

Furthermore, I didn't like the smell (flowery grape juice scent), and it was really really thick, so the slip wasn't great for me.

I know this condish has worked for other people, but I don't think I'd try it again.

This is hard for me to say (errr write) but, this is the best conditioner i've ever tried!! through all these years i have been changing products constantly in search of the best and only the best..and suddenly i stumbled across this incredible conditioner! :D i couldn't believe it the first time i used it. btw i have 3b, ultra thin curls. by the end of washing my hair i was amazed. my hair was just as the bottle says, untangled, ultra-soft, shiny and extremely touchable. i love it! besides i also had a problem with my hair falling out with certain products but with this one it didn't fall out! i am soo glad i bought this! definitely with repurchase!! :D

I liked it. I purchased it as part of the Transition Cocktail. However, I'm giving it three curls at this point because I think that there would have been more slip had I preceded the conditioner with a more moisturizing shampoo. So, perhaps I will update my rating following my next wash with a different shampoo.

I finally decided to jump on the bandwagon and give this a try. I really liked it. My hair was left extremely soft and was very easy to detangle. I used it to deep condition. The scent is a little too fragrant for me, so I doubt that I would co-wash with it. I'll probably repurchase this product.

This is best condish I have ever used and it's so versatile. I use it as a DC. It's thick, so I add a bit of EVOO and put on my heat cap and let it work it's magic. I also use it as a leave-in condish (with aloe vera juice, neem oil and choice essential oils--I just spray it on and Gigi (my hair) is good to go! I also use it as a prepoo (with a bit of castor oil.) This is one of my staple products. A keeper for sure.

I really love this product! I'm always on the lookout for the total natural experience & this conditioner gave it to me. A little strong on the smell, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I will definitely continue using this product!

I really wanted to love this stuff, but I find that it's just ok on my hair. I really don't like the smell (reminds me of sunblock) and the fact that it lingers long after my hair is done drying. I will say though that my hair DRINKS this stuff up. It literally gets absorbed into my hair the second I put it on, so I have to use a lot.

This is a great conditioner. I have very fine but extremely curly hair, so I need a lot of moisture but not something that is going to weigh down my hair and make it really flat. In comparison to the Island Naturals Conditioner that just weighted down my hair, this one smells great, detangles and I am having a great hair day.

I just keep on coming back to this conditioner. I'm always on the look-out for truly moisturising conditioners, and this one is the one of the few I've found that really fits the bill. I use it as a rinse-out and a leave in. It fixes my hair when nothing else will. The only real negative for me is the smell - honeysuckle it ain't. It's very strong, whatever the scent actually is, but for me the pros outweigh the cons and I just keep going back to good old AOHR.

    i really want to love this product...but i don't.

the smell is too strong (my tiny dorm room smells like a pine forest) but more importantly:

as a DC, my hair felt like straw when i rinsed it out... i don't think the first ingredient: COCONUT FATTY ACID CREAM BASE plus water work well for me. idk.

I'm too scared to try it as a detangling/quickie conditioner.

the ingredients look AMAZING *applause* but...i don't like the product.

MY BE LOVE!!!!!!!! I don't like this product as a conditioner, but I love it as a leave-in. When I baggy with this product my hair felt oh-soooo soft*x*. It was like cotton candy. I only use a small amount to apply to my hair. Either way it makes my hair feel soft no matter what. One of my staples.

I've used this conditioner twice so far, and I have to say I agree with most of the 4a Type. It's a great, affordable product! I bought mine at the Vitamin Shoppe in desperate need to find something to moisurized my super frizzy, dry hair, and I gambled on this one because it said it not only moisurizes, it detangles. The first time I used it, I co-wash there was no change and I struggled with kinks. The second time (after using shampooing, my hair was so packed with residue from other products), I tried it again, and YES!!! It DOES detangle! AND it does moisurize. I read one reader uses it with Honey; I think I'm going to try that next time to see how that works. I give it 4 curls because honestly because even though it does it's job, it's hard to gauge how much to put on my hair. I think I put too much the first time. I like glopping conditioner in my hair because it's easier for me to comb it out, and this conditioner leaves a flaky residue if you use too much. Oh I'm sure this product make a great deep conditioner too! All in all, I WILL buy this product again because it's organic and affordable.

I love this as a deep conditioner as well as a leave in. It has amazing ingredients and a pleasant honeysuckle scent. Plus it is glycerin free which makes it a great winter product.I mix it with water for a moisturizing leave in. It should be applied on dry hair deep conditioning. This is supposed to allow for better absorbtion.

This is the only thing that made my very, very dry, strawlike hair (fine, thick density, 3a) soft and healthy. I've been using it at least every other day for a few months and no problems, just gorgeous hair. Worked better for me than coconut oil, in terms of softness and added moisture.

I love this CO. It is very thick though so I water it down so it will get into my hair more evenly. Because of the price and avalibility I alternate it with Suave naturals which is ok. I wonder though if my fine hair could take this if use constantly? I think it smells great!

Very, very thick, which is nice when you have dry, resistant hair like mine. The smell and texture remind me of sunscreen, really, but I don't mind the scent. I won't use it everyday, because it is heavy, but maybe once a week. Definitely a re-purchase.

An excellent thick, rich conditioner but awesome with honey! Honey stretches out the consistency and adds more slip for me. A bit heavy as a co-wash but works great as a deep conditioner, IMO. I love that it's protein-free. I could do with out the floral scent but I stomach it because the moisturizing abilities are so great. I would definitely rec. this conditioner!

A wonderful conditioner at a great price! Has a lot of mositure and slip/detangling yet doesn't weigh down my fine hair. No "bad" ingredients in it. Yummy scent that's not too strong. Love that I can find it locally. It is right up there with my other HG conditioners (DevaCare One and Elucence MB).

Love this conditioner! Like RCC, my hair loves oils and hates proteins, and for this reason absolutely SOAKS UP this condish. Per-usage, it's super cheap, and does a wonderful job of moisturizing my hair. It makes up for any damage a shampoo may do to my hair immediately beforehand, and detangles instantly. The smell is strong and floral, but doesn't linger. A perfect winter conditioner!

I have a hard time finding a good, thick, moisturizing protein free conditioner.

Luckily, this ones fills the bill.

I have coarse, dry 3B curls that love oil, hate protein, and needs lots of moisture.

I get great moisturization with this. It's not super-seaweedy, but it does feel nice and my hair feels silky after use. The next day, I can tell that the conditioner is heavy on the oils and shea, but it is not detrimental to my curls or hair at this point. Even my stubborn brittle hair at the nape of my neck have improved.

I like that I do not have to buy it online. It is mid-priced. The smell is wonderful.

I have been getting massive shrinkage with this. My hair is just above my wiast when wet. Today, it grazed the bottom of my shoulderblades, not even hitting BSL. I had great curl definition and bounce.

    I will absolutely re-purchase.
