Styling Tips

  • A small amount can be used on clean, dry hair, but this gel works best when used on clean, wet or damp hair.
  • Apply more for tighter curls and less for elongated curls.

For Wash n' Go Styles

  • Apply as needed, raking through hiar with fingers.
  • Then finger-styling hair into place.
  • Air dry or use a diffuser on a light setting.

For Twists and Coils

  • Apply to sections of hair, distributing to each area and combing through from roots to ends (use more for thicker/longer hair).
  • Prepare each section according to desired style (twists, braid outs, Bantu knots, etc.).
  • Allow hair to completely dry, then take down each section.
  • Style as desired.

I love the light scent and not too thin not too thick consistency it has. I didn't expect it to make my hair as hard/crunchy as it did but I have thin hair and may have applied too much, but it wasn't as crunchy as other gels I've used. This provides the best curl definition of any product I've ever used and the day after I first used it, my curls had less crunch, a lot of hold, and still well defined without having to add more gel, or anything, just some water! This is the best gel I've used so far. I'm on day 4 hair and I still don't need to add anymore product. I would recommend this to anyone with any hair type looking for a good gel with great definition.

This is definitely the best gel I have used so far. Holds well without that dirty residue left behind. I was worried about using over my entire hair and it was a little crunchy but my curls were defined all day.

I loved loved LOVED this product. unlike other gels that i have used on my hair this one did not i repeat did not leave any traces of white residue behind. It took only about 20 minutes to go through my hair and about 2 hours for it to dry. There was a bit of a crunch to my hair after it dried but i liked that and it was softer the next day. I did my wash and go with this product 3 days ago and my curls are still popping.

I love this gel. I do use the Curl La La with it for extra moisture. I love these new products. This has a light scent just like all of her new products. This has great hold. Love it!

I use this with Curl La La. I think it needs the extra moisture but I have ordered the Baby Girl curling custard and want to see how that works. I love all of these new products. I have now ordered the Quench too. Thank you, Aunt Jackie, for another great line of products. These are so moisturizing and have a light scent. This gel complements the Curl La La but I do love Curl La La.
