Ok, so after using this product for some time (a month and a half), i have to say this it doesnt not agree with my hair. My hair feels dry and brittle. After this jar is finished, I will not repurchase.

Works well with defining and holding my twists and smells GREATTTT. Not too heavy, either.

(3c hair type) I love this stuff! I use to think butters and creams didnt work for me and gels were my only option for definition,WRONG! This butter(well its more of a thick cream) made my hair soft, shiny, and defined. I just used a little of their Curly Frizz Pudding over it for extra frizz control. Bye bye gels!

For my hair, the product has too much shea butter, which makes my hair dry. When I combined this with my spritz, it was fine. I will not repurchase once it's gone. Those whose hair loves shea butter will love this product.

Well, it looks like I have to eat my words. I tried this product again today and I have to say, it worked out a lot better this time around. The difference is that this time, I allowed my hair to dry slightly more. i'm used to having to apply holding products while my hair is completely wet in order to get a good, defined "set". But this product works on literally damp hair, not wet. Also, I used much more product and applied it to smaller sections very thoroughly and carefully. I made sure that each strand was fully covered and smoothed every section with my fingers from root to tip. This greatly aided the product's ability to clump my curls and keep them defined. And lastly, I went over the ends with even MORE product as I finished each section. i really loaded my hair up. The results were very soft, fluffy, but defined curls that dried much more quickly than my Kinky Curly Curling Custard ever does and with less mess. Yes, it's pretty sticky and a bit greasy, so your fingers get super tangled with shed hair, but the finished result is not crunchy. And because my hair wasn't so wet when I started, it dried without that white residue I had last time even though I used WAY more product this time around. KCCC is still my go-to for definition and setting my curl pattern, but I'll definitely be using this product every other time or so to get that lovely, fluffed and soft, second-day hair look on the first day. Glad I kept it and gave it another try.

Love this product, think my hair is actually 3b/3c type. This curl styling butter gave my culrs good definition very soft and moisturized and I absolutely love the smell. Would have given this product 5 stars but to have achieve the ultimate results I mix it up a lil either with Cur Junkie's curling gel or Pantine Pro V oil replacement cream.

Hair type 3c/4a. This prooduct does NOT work as a styling butter. It provides no definition and very little hold. I tried to use it on damp hair to seal and clump my curls and there was nothing but a mess of frizz. It's got a very heavy, greasy consistency as well. It feels to me like a super emolient moisturizer. So I started using it occasionally on dry hair as a moisturizer for my ends. It works well this way, but not as well as some other moisturizers I have that absorb better. So I'm keeping this (I got it as part of a curly cocktail), but I'm not very happy with it.

it's not bad because it's VERY moisturizing buuuut it's really greasy and heavy especially with the curl pudding....i'm saving all my bb products that i purchased for the winter because in the ga spring/summer/fall they are way to heavy and oily. will i repurchase? eh...

I have fallen in love! I had been shying away from BB products after they changed the scent a few years ago (I loved the old horchata smell.... memories.....). But I decided to take the plunge and use it. I'm so glad I did. A little goes a long way for me and it REALLY makes my curls pop. I love how it defines my coarse curls without weighing them down.

This product is a little better than the Happy Nappy Styles as far as build up, but I didn't feel that it emulsified very well prior to putting it in so it appears white on the hair at first. That eventually goes away, but I think there are better butters out there.

Smells great. Works well if you use the Curly Frizz Pudding on top. The pudding works like a gel without the cruchy texture.

I am a 4a and as far as defining the curl it was great. However it sucked as far as leaving a white residue in my hair. I have tried using smaller portions in sections but it just doesnt work. I would never order this again because the residue is horrible.

Overall, I liked this product. I had to make sure that I saturated each curl with the styling butter creme, run my fingers through to ensure even distribution, and "play" with my hair to get the desired end result. My hair gets dry very easily and this product kept my hair from feeling dry and stiff while providing hold and definition. Very good if you have somewhat thick hair and need to keep frizz down.

I used this product expecting a miracle for my 4a hair. As far as moisture, this was was cool. But as far as definition, this product did nothing. I bought this product expecting to much. The smell was amazing also.

Very disgusting product. It was hard to work into damp and dry hair. Didnt do anything besides make my hair feel like grandma's fried chicken.

This butter is very smooth and creamy. Provided shine, moisture and hold. I could use it straight w/o mixing or layering it w/anything else. It didn't do much for my frizz but this is pretty typical of all butters where my hair is concerned. I think it's great.

My hair: 3c/4a A very moisturizing product. It has lots of hold but left my hair a little on the frizzy side and feeling a little stiff. I think I’ve found that butter crèmes are a little too heavy to achieve the curl pattern and style that I’m looking for.

This cream really boosted my curls and gave them shine! I'll retest in cooler temps to see if the subtle frizz diminishes with lower humidity/temps.

The protein in this cream really started to dry my ends out. I much prefer Curlybrunette's SIAS

Such a treat for my hair. Shines, smoothes, defines, moisturizes, nourishes. Smells like heaven. I love it. If I need more spot control I add a gel or CurlKeeper. Holy grail product.

I fell in love with this product the first time I used it, it does everything as stated, very moisterizing, and smells like you can eat it.
It provided exellent moisture, for my hair, made it soft to touch, and held my hairstyle very well.
Would definately buy this product again, and have also fallen in love with the new up to date line.

Really moisturizing cream. Better for coarser, kinkier curl types.
