I am actually a mixture of a 4a/b. I used this shampoo along with a really good deep conditioner, sprial solutions, and one of the leave-in from here. I apologize, I can't remember the name, any given rate. Once that was all said and done, I followed it up with some eco styler gel. Tadaa!!! My hair was beautiful. My curls looked pretty and shiny. So, I will be using this probably every other week. I will be re-purchasing again. Its a great shampoo. I thought it would be too harsh on my hair because of the protein. I have Low Porosity hair, however, it worked well. I guess that is why I stress every two weeks.

This my #1 shampoo. It gets your hair clean without tangling, drying, matting, or stripping it. It is gentle and moisturizing as it says in the description; everything you look for in a moisturizing shampoo it has-it is not a clarifying shampoo. It smells pretty-not overpowering at all. It is pricey, you will have to learn how much your hair texture, length needs to be cleaned.
P.S. I have tried tons of shampoos and cleansers and this is the best. I have used it for a few months now. Compared to elucense moisturizing and clarifying shampoos (too much lather may increase tangling). Curls cream cleanser, Wen, and ASIAM cowash they just don't get my hair all the way clean.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this shampoo! Was a bit skeptical at first because it really doesn't lather; BUT, it removed the product buildup and put the spring back into my curls!

Hands down the best shampoo I have ever used in my hair! My hair felt like silk after rinsing out. While the price is the only con that I can think of, I truly think it's worth the investment. If you can justify your budget for it, I highly encourage you to get this shampoo and make it a regular part of your hair regimen!

I love this shampoo. It is very moisturizing and doesnt strip the hair but does cleanse very well. The only con I have is the price. You dont get alot of bang for your buck and its only offered in one size. I wont be repurchasing because of the price.

a nice smelling shampoo that doesn't make my hair feel stripped at all (first shampoo i've found that does this!) and cleanses my hair effectively. unfortunately it's much too expensive for what it is so i won't be purchasing again.

This is a good shampoo. I love the smell, the creamy cleaning feel, and the results. My hair loves soy! But once again, it is too expensive.

Amazing shampoo, light and airy feel. Great slip and not really foamy but it gives my hair a clean fresh feel and awesome moisture!

I used this shampoo for the first time in a few years and my hair was pretty satuarted with products and I had an itchy scalp due to product build up. I think it cleansed my hair very well and left my hair moisturized. It has very little lather, but not a big deal. It still cleansed my hair very well.

Ive been trying to find a cheaper replacement for this for almost a year. This is the best shampoo I have ever tried hands down. I just couldnt justify the cost. Well after buying and paying more than this for over a year for other products Im going to have to just suck it up and stock up when I can. Im a 4a and this stuff leaves my hair soft and silky for days!

I totally love this shampoo! It detangled my hair before I rinsed! It left my hair feeling soft and shiny. All in all, the best I have ever tried!!!! This shampoo is now on my HG list!

This stuff was just OK for me. Pros:
very moisturizing and gentle, scent is very light.
Cons: Does not cleanse very well, kind of expensive.
This stuff is very similar to a CO-wash. Because it was hard for me to distribute and it does not really get very lathery I had to use about 4-5 pumps just to cleanse my chin length hair. At like $15 for 8oz that will be very expensive!
I use this now as an inbetween shampoo as it really is not cleansing enough to balance out my scalp.

If it was protein free, I'd give it 5 curls!Plus, I'm not too fond of the "new" scent. But this is one of the best (and only) shampoos I use that makes my hair feel so silky and full of body! I can't wait to purchase it in the original scent I've heard raves about!

Love this shampoo. Hair feels moisturized afterwards. Feels like it does when I use JC's HCC. Definitely recommend it and will be buying it again.

The smell is delightful, although if you don't like a cherries and cream scent, it may be overpowering. Very rich and creamy shampoo. Does a great job with hydration, getting the scalp clean, and curl definition. I usually follow with Patene Hyrdrating Curl.

I really love this shampoo. It smells wonderful, and it detangles and moisturizes BEFORE I add conditioner.

This is one of the best shampoos I have ever used! It cleanses the hair wonderfully, while adding moisture. It's very easy to distribute and smells yummy. I look forward to using this each week.

I don't usually get excited about shampoo, but this one is really special. It feels so luxurious and so moisturizing.
