I haven't tried this yet because I have too many other deep conditioners on my rotation. However I have many friends and family that say great things about this conditioner. Also below is the updated ingredients:

Added: panthenol, green tea, jojoba oil, and rosehip oil

This product is literally the worst thing I have ever put in my 3c/b, medium texture, low to normal porosity hair and I once used shampoo as a styler (I was 12, it's a long story). This left a film on my hair that, two shampoos latter, is still there. I am going to have to clarify tomorrow. It is very butter heavy and I am sure that is the culprit; shea butter is the third ingredient. the butters are so concentrated that you can smell them over the fragrance. I should have known better than to try this for that very reason. While I know that some people are able to use butters with no problem after using this one time I cannot fathom how anyone could use this on a long term basis without major buildup.

I have 3c/ 4a hair....tried it last night on fleshly washed hair. I applied it and sat under steamer for 30 mins, then rinsed with cool to luke warm water. It made my hair soft and easy to detangle but left my hair extremely weighed down :( With that being said, I don't prefer this product...but I wanted to sooo badly. My iron out has a film on it so I will be utilizing this for a juicy braidout before I shampoo again :)

I did not know that this was more of a hair mask than a real deep conditioner. I applied the product, left it on for 30mins( I probably should've done 20 mins) and then rinsed out the product. It left my hair feeling... Meh... It's okay. It made my color pop though. I didn't get the soft hair like other ladies said to have experienced. That may have to do with the fact of leaving it in for more that 20 mins. But nonetheless it was an ok product. Very thick product, that's due to the butters. It smelled minty to me, not over powering. I probably won't buy again just because I love my Shea moisture deep conditioners more.

It gets a 5 out of 5 for the way my hair feels after: SOFT like a cloud. BUT it's a fail if you like to use your deep conditioner for detangling. This stuff has practically no slip. My hair has to already be detangled or else I'm going to be sitting there for a while detangling.

The ingredient list is wrong and misleading. Here is the real list:
Deionized Water, Aloe Vera Juice, Butyrospermum Parki ( Shea Butter), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Bethenthimon Methosulfate, Caryl Alcohol, Dipropylene Glycol (btms) , Theobroma, Cacao (Coco) Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango), Seed Butter, Cannablis Sativa ( Hemp), Seed Oil, DI Pentrnal Mel (Manukla Honey), Vegistable Oil, Bitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis ( Evening Primrose) Oil, Phenoxyethanol and Capeylyn Glycol, Blue Green Algae, Dimethyl Sulfone (Msm), Biotin, Tocopheryl Acetate ( Vitamin E), Mentha Piperita ( Peppermint Oil), and you can see the Blue Gree Algae is way down the list than the one advertised above. There is also Dipropylene Glycol is on this list, but not on others. That doesn't make me happy. Don't mislead me!

This is the best hydrating deep conditioner I have ever used. I absolutely love it and would recommendsit to anyone with 3a to 4c hair type and for those that don't like to type their hair this is an extra thick heavy cream conditioner that will weight down thin hair but is perfect for thicker hair. OMG...the smell is like a snicker doodle cookie, hints of vanilla with a little spice it's perfecr. You don't have to be heavy handed either a little goes a long way.

Two words: HOLY GRAIL. I'm so mad I put off trying this deep conditioner for so long (because I didn't care for the Moisture Milk).. I'm not the biggest fan of the smell (it smells like mint chocolate to me), but it was like butter going on and left my hair feeling the softest of any conditioner I've ever used. A little goes a long way.. so as long as I can get 6 uses out of the jar (my hair is APL straightened).. I will continue to buy!

It was okay. It did a good job softening my hair but it didn't really do anything different that other products at a much lower price point. I don't think I would pay this amount for this product again.

I haven't used the product long, but for what I have used it for it did NOT do the job. I used it after a cleansing conditioner wash, Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner, I guess it was too much product for my hair. I no longer use it because it was too much for my hair type and I don't like using an excessive amount of products.

    SMELL: Awesome
    STICK: Sticky
    SLIP: Okay, without a comb!
Use: A little goes a long way, could last a while

I have a lot of hair, with medium to coarse texture and fine strands mixed in. My hair DOES NOT like to be weighed down.

I REALLY wanted to like this product because of the great ingredients, but I finally had to give up on it. The first two times I used it, it made my hair very hard. When I tried it again a couple of months later, my hair felt conditioned, but it did not make my hair feel nearly as soft and moisturized as other products I've used. I gave it to my sister (4b hair) who had the same results. My hair is not protein sensitive and the hair products I use regularly contain similar ingredients as this DC, so I am not sure what the issue is. My only guess is that because my hair is low porosity, this (very) thick conditioner sat on top of my hair and could not do what it was designed to do. If you hair prefers more watery/creamy products, this might not be for you.

I don't think I'll find another deep conditioner as good as this stuff. It's well worth the price one container last me about 2 and half months and I use it weekly on my medium density 3c/4a hair. Applied to freshly cleansed hair and left to set for 20 min under a hooded dryer leaves me with soft moisturized hair until the next week. It also has a light protein effect so I no longer fear over moisturized hair. Highly recumbent this and the twisting butter to my fellow naturals/curlies

This conditioner smells great and detangles as you apply it. I have only used it twice but I'm sold, this is my go to DC and I use her aloe whipped butter gel on my hair for over a month now and I'm sold. I plan to try some of her other products in the near future as well, I'm sure they can only work as great as this one.

This smells like mint chocolate chip it is very thick. I was not able to detangle with it. My hair wasn't any extra moisturized. I also had lots of shedding with this product. Other than smelling nice and having my scalp tingly because of the peppermint, I didn't really get much from this. I didn't have any slip and this wasn't a good conditioner for my type of hair. I was actually happy when I finished using this product and I will not repurchase.

Hair Stats: 3B, waist length, low porosity and normal density.

I love this deep conditioner. This is the best moisturizing deep conditioner I have used in my 3 years of being natural. I can;t believe I waited so long to try this. I used the relaxer method when applying it and left it mt hair for 1 hour w/o heat, I don't have a dryer. After rinsing the product out of my hair felt very soft. I actually could have skipped using a leave in condition. This now going on my holy grail list. I will continue to use this product until my hair no longer likes it.

I really like this dc! As I was rinsing it out in the shower I was disappointed because I thought it would feel softer. But once I towel dried and felt my hair, not only was it soft but it felt stronger, and was detangled! It did exactly what the jar says it does. Most dc's for me either make my hair so soft that it sheds or just coat my hair and not really condition it. Idk how Camille Rose does it but I am so impressed with this and the twisting butter. They are amazing. Because this is a strengthening dc I'm not sure if I should use this every week. Either way I am happy.

again love the smell, even after I used it my hair was so soft and mangeable, its a very nice consistency, not too thick to actually rake through your hair but not too watery because EWW! but this is my 2nd favorite HG Deep conditioner besides CJ moistuizing DC

I very rarely give any deep conditioner a 5 star rating. I mean it has to bowl me over. This one came pretty close. It smells to me like a light chocolate. It made my hair soft...although my hair was soft even after shampooing before this application but this kept it soft and it detangled my hair (big plus) and it went on smooth. All in all I definitely would repurchase. It made me actually want to look into more products fromt he Camille Rose line.

Smells great and makes my hair soft. But, I don't notice any difference in my ridiculous breakage issues and I don't feel like it necessarily makes my hair softer than any other conditioner. I also have to use it with coconut oil. For now I'll continue to use it because I need a deep conditioner but if this next bottle finishes with no discernible benefits I'll let it go.

I honestly can't remember what this was like because I bought a whole bunch of conditioners and this was the first one i tried. It must not have been that good if I can't remember it. I know it was a patty like texture. No nice girlie scent. No good slip for conditioner detangling. Can't remember what the results were like

I really loved this in my hair! I applied it all over my head after detangling with coconut oil and then sat under my steamer. I heard of this product on heyfranhey. My hair felt, stonger, healthier and less brittle.

I also tried this as a DC on my sister hair, and it did wonders detangling her hair and making it manageable to comb after her 2 day wash n' go.

So I lost a lot of hair due to having a baby (about 2 yrs ago), so my hair has greatly changed from a 3B/C to a 3A. So I have been in a long battle to repair my hair, and I bought this deep conditioner because I heard of the benefits of algae for hair. Very easy going on the hair and it did make my hair soft. Nice soft scent, and I noticed my hair fibers kinda came together (not sure if that makes sense lol). My hair held moisture a lot better after I rinsed this out, and my hair is usually dry and brittle after I rinse out. Will have to use this a couple of more times before I decide if I love it, I am not so sure if I can say I love it yet. But I will say this is definitely a quality organic product and very moisturizing.

    Posted by bfrench4 (Type 4a) on 02/02/2013

I can't say that this really moisturized my hair; it leaves filmy residue and is a pain to wash from my scalp like no other. But the one thing that irks me to no end is the out of control fluffed out frizz that happens. I used it as a deep conditioner (in winter), once for 10 minutes in the shower and another for 20 minutes with a soft bonnet. Felt so unmanageable afterwards and the smell makes me dizzy. Will never buy again. Also the label was sloppily put on and some words were misspelled.

I used this product to deep condition after I washed my 3c natural hair. Even though I have only used it once, my hair really liked this product. It has my curls really defined (my curls also clumped) and my hair felt very soft after. I love the thick consistency of the product and its load with lots of vitamins. I would definitely order another one to have on reserve and its perfect to use during the winter months seeing that the harsh cold weather tends to dry out my hair.

I'd say this product is currently 3 stars, I've only used it once on my 4a/4b hair. It's not as moisturizing (more protein rich)as it suggest however it is thick, rich and smells great. My hair was far more frizzy than its ever been I can't know of it's due to this product or stylets, I'll try it again without any stylers to see how well it truly works. I will say this it is a far better value than Aubrey organically blue algae deep conditioner which is more for only 4 oz.

Does nothing for me. Moisture Max conditioner is by far a better conditioning product. This doesn't feel well going on, not particularly slippy, and hair doesn't feel nice after a rinse out. I can't bring myself to give less than 3 curls though, as useless as this product is to me, because ingredients are great, it smells nice and amount is so generous. I'm read some reviews and I know there are people it works well for.
