Let me start by saying that my hair has so breakage. My hair is also closer to between a 3C/4A, which is only relevant if someone is looking for a product to try on similar hair. My hair is high density and low porosity as well. The smell of the product definitely took me by surprise. It had a very strong "chemical" smell to me. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Sort of the way a room smells after someone has had a relaxer. The product also feels very oily without my hair feeling much more moisturized. However, I used it on my wash n'go as a part of my LOC method. It might require that I leave the O out all together with this product, or try it again on a flat-twist out. It's possible that my expectations need to be harnessed within certain styles. Overall, the smell is barely tolerable. My husband is not a fan, and neither am I. If I am considering adding perfume to a product in order to use it, it makes the product worthless to me. I might come back and adjust my rating if the smell dissipates over the next day or two, or if the result is better with more structured styles. I might add that it's simply sitting on my hair...and it was the first product in the LOC method. It should not still be sitting on my hair shaft...

I actually like the smell but it did not do my hair any justice. It gave it definition because I like big hair but it dried my curls out and it didn't make my curls pop at all.

The smell of this product is way too perfumey, till the point it starts to make me feel nauseated. It is greasy, yet drying to my hair at the same time. It doesn't provide any definition or frizz control to my curls at all. This product basically did nothing positive for my curls at all.

I found that it hydrated well my hair, on the other hand I do not like too much the smell. I recommend it. 4C HAIR

Very drying to my hair. Will not rebuy. I think this works better on 2/3 type hair. All of the ingredients are not the best either.

Love this product! I use this in conduction with Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Co-Wash (or Pureology Hydrate shampoo + conditioner on my shampoo days). I have thin 2b waves that frizz easily and this is probably the best moisturizing product I've used thus far. Prevents frizz and makes my hair feel super soft. Only complaint I have is that it's very easy to use too much because you can't feel the product at all in wet hair.

I love love love this product it works amazing on my hair. I cut my hair a few months ago and it is amazing on my hair. It keeps my hair very moist and helps bring out my natural curls which can be harder to to in really short natural hair.

I like this leave in. It does a wonderful job. I mix it with the CD Monoi Oil sometimes. PERFECT COMBO!! The bottle is $20 for 8oz. However, even though my hair is thick, a little still goes a long way. I've used it twice and still have over half the bottle left. That smell isn't pleasant enough to be that strong though. When I'm washing and conditioning my hair, that's my "me time". Aromatherapy is included in that so smell is important to me. It does the job and a little goes a long way so I will finish the bottle. It'll be my backup leave in.

I think this Leave-in did a pretty good job of moisturizing my coils. I used the Hair Milk co-wash and then the leave-in before twisting with the pudding. My hair feels much more moisturized with this leave-in than it did with the Lite version, which just isn't moisturizing enough.

Very disappointing change to this product! I used to love hair milk and when the packaging changed I didn't expect for the formula to change as well! Unfortunately I won't be ordering any more hair milk. Here is hoping with all of the comments about the change that they'll go back to the original hair milk!!

I bought this yesterday so I can use it for the L.O.C Method. My hair is a 4a or b, low porosity, fine strands, high density. Creams and butters are usually heavy on my hair so I thought Milk and lotions would be lighter but still give me moisture. Right now I feel like it was a waste of money BUT I did just dyed my hair yesterday and need to buy a better quality deep conditioner to get the moisture back in my hair. And I was thinking instead of doing LOC I might be better off doing LCO method since I just read some milks works best when applied just washed hair. I'll be sure to do a second review.

I like this hair milk on my hair to add moisture to an older twist out. The smell is REALLY strong though... I get compliments on the smell, but initially its a bit much. Moisture is nice. Not meant for slip, just to condition my hair on an older style.

I did not like the smell, it provided ok slip but it didn't provide enough moisture at all.
