Carol's Daughter Macadamia Heat Protection Gloss is a strengthening and protecting serum that helps improve your hair's softness for better control of frizz—without leaving it feeling stiff. It enhances your natural shine by helping to smooth the cuticle, and is formulated with macadamia oil to protect your hair from heat damage caused by using blow-dryers, curling irons, and flat irons.

Styling Tips

• Apply one to two pumps on towel-dried hair.

  I don't know what took me so long to use this! The consistency was light and not at all greasy or sticky. The smell is fantastic (light and fresh, with not even a hint of nuttines, lol), and most importantly, it worked. Mind you, I used it after a poor hairstylist's failed attempt at a blow out, so I wasn't working with a full head of curls. But, it got my hair sleek, smooth, and shiny without an ounce of grease. I like that I really didn't need a lot of product to get the desired results-just a pump or two for each half of my hair and I was good to go! I will definitely be reaching for this whenever I want to straighten my curls!

  I used two drops and that was probably a mistake......this makes your hair kind of oily if you put too much in. It did make my hair really soft though and I'm pretty sure it did a good job protecting against heat before I straightened my hair, not really sure how to know that. It smelled good!

  You only need just a drop and it leaves your hair super soft. But for my medium fine hair it was a too heavy. I had to wash my hair the second day because it was too oily.
