The smell is strong but it smells like hair medicine if that makes any sense. lol It smelled like it was doing some serious work and it was! It's a good deep conditioner especially if used overnight. I'm not a fan of the recommended way to apply it though. I'd prefer applying to wet hair. It's easier. Much less hassle. However, it's a quality product. Did the job.

One of the best deep conditioners I've used. Leaves my hair feeling very soft.

I really wanted to love this product but it disappointed me. First off, the smell was really strong and a tad too musky for me. The ingredients were quality, and the recommended amount of oil & conditioner covered my dense chin length hair with no problem. However, the concoction made my scalp sting. As far as results--the first time I tried it, there was only a very slight difference in the manageability of my hair. The second time I used it, it made my hair feel like straw so I had to DC all over again. I wouldn't recommend trying this unless you already use other CD hair products that you know work for you.

I used this in my oldest daughter's transitioning hair and it was like a miracle! It resurrected texture to her hair that we thought was long gone. It gave us hope that she could be a curly girl too, but unfortunately a good 2-3 inches of her hair is still bone straight from the relaxer. We will continue to use this as a pre poo treatment as it made her hair soft and manageable and will also purchase it as we continue to let her hair grow out and trim off the chemically treated bits so that she can be "naturally curly" too!

This is an excellent deep conditioning kit. After I used it, it made my hair very soft and manageable, and the effects lasted for about two weeks! The way it's applied is very similar to a relaxer: you part your hair in four sections and apply to dry hair, let it sit for a while, and rinse it out. I kept it in for a couple of hours and spent half an hour under the hair dryer. It was fairly easy to use. You just have to follow the directions. I highly recommend this product.

Loved it. My hair was super soft, it added weight to it, and leaves hair tangle-free. After the treatment I blowed dried my hair straight, it took less time and my brush wasn't getting stuck. Also I loved that the treatment is applied to dry hair rather than washed, saves time. It might not be a big deal but it makes it that much easier.

When trying out this treatment, I didn't really know what to expect. I have really thick hair, and decided to ask my mom to help me with the application and everything. One of my first concerns was that there wasn't going to be enough product for all of my hair. My hair goes down to my shoulder when stretched, but as I mentioned earlier it's THICK! My mom applied the treatment in the four sections very similar to the way she used to apply my relaxers before I went natural. After rinsing out all of the product, I used a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner by Carol's Daughter. After everything, I could tell the difference when I combed through my hair with the detangling comb. I would use it again to see if my curls would actually pop because my mom used a terry cloth towel so quickly on my head afterwards that I didn't get to see if I had a lot of curl definition.

Hands down its the best deep conditioner on the market right now. My hair is incredibly soft, detangled, curly, and shiny! I love it!!

Perhaps I should have prepared myself for this infusion... My experience didn't start out so well. . My hair was overly parched before I began... the oil in the bottle was not enough... I had to supplement it with my own EVOO... just to be able to part my hair. I followed it with the smoothie... and I slept in it, and shampooed with Carol's Daughter Tui Moisturizing Shampoo... and my hair still needed something... I deep conditioned with Aussie Moist deeeeep conditioner (I know I wanted to stick with Carol's Daughter products but I was in dire straights)... followed the Aussie with Tui Leave-In conditioner...I wore my hair natural and let it dry... IT was very soft and the curls well defined without the need for Ecostyler Gel which is my go to for definition... I simply allowed it to air dry and then followed up with Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter and Loc Butter for a two-strand twist that I've been wearing ever since... that was Monday and today is Thursday..

I noticed my hair drying out so I retwisted using Carol's Daughter Hair Butter and Loc Butter and during the day I groom it by running the Hair Balm over each twist... My scalp feels super itchy... not sure whether its related because that seems to be a recurring problem I have during the Fall season... it itches, but it grows at the same time. I would love to have a remedy for the scalp itch but otherwise, I'd probably use the infusion kit again. I have enough to apply it at least 2 more times. Will keep you posted on any changes.

OOOOOOO! Love it. I'm a sucker for these kinds of treatments, and this is a GOOD one! It's a 2-step process... apply the oil to your scalp with one of those super-cute pointy applicator things, and then put the Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie all over your hair, gooping it in and sloshing it around. Then put on the highly fashionable plastic cap, apply heat (I used a blow dryer) and read a book for 30 minutes while it "cooks." Rinse it out, and you are gorgeously hydrated and tangle-free!
