I did not like this product at all. It didn't detangle my hair well. And it left my hair feeling very dry and hard. I will not try this product again.

Used as a deep conditioner, it made my coils pop. I experienced less shrinkage after I washed it out and my hair felt buttery soft.

This worked well as a deep conditioner when I had relaxed hair, but on my natural hair I hated it. It left my hair feeling stripped and felt like straw. I gave this away.

I really love this stuff. My Mom had it and I tried it over a period of a week and fell in love with it. It smells amazing, is thick and rich and coats my hair. It leaves my hair soft and replenished. I have noticed a major difference in my ends (I am also using Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment) and have had a lot less breakage than normal. My hair loss is also much less. I am not sure if it is Carol's Daughter or Curl Rehab...my hair really loves both, so sometimes I use both at the same time, a sort of cocktail if you will. I follow it up w/leave-in conditioner, and AG:ReCoil Hair Balm (awesome stuff).

I absolutely love this conditioner!!!! It's expensive but worth every dime! It leaves your hair soft and moisturized. I recommend you use it as a deep conditioner plastic cap and leave in for about 30 mins.

I do not use this product for myself, but for my oldest daughter (hair type 3B/3C). Carol's Daughter was our original entry point into the world of natural hair, and I moved away from it after hearing negative comments about both the modifications to the product and the philosophy of the company. Plus, it did nothing for my younger daughter's 4A hair (I was still transitioning at the time and have never tried this product on my own hair). However, after trying numerous other products, NOTHING beats the detangling power of this product on her hair. It does have a "cone" listed among its top 5 ingredients, but it is worth it to me to keep more hair on my daughter's head and less on the bed, floor, etc., post-washing, (even after trying a coconut oil pre-poo, washing in sections, and a host of other detangling suggestions).

This product did well on my hair but not what it was intended for. I have 3c/4a/4b hair. I first tried to use it as a conditioner and really didn't get results I liked BUT I used it as a leave in after I did a cowash and VIOLA! Results! I used it to set my two strand twist and my hair was the softest ever! My curls held all day...and the shine was great.

I am a 4b/c and I purchased the product because I was looking for a good deep conditioner and this product did not help me at all. It made my hair hard and it did not moisturize at all. It also did not aid in detangling my hair. It did smell good though. I was thinking maybe it was a protein overload for me but not sure and maybe that was why. I had to rewash my hair my hair and start all over again. I really wanted to like this product too.

I bought this collection online a while back and I must say i was very dissatisfied Not only did it not detangle my hair but for the amount that came in jar I was unable to condition my entire head. Not worth the expensive price ?

I want to start by saying that the only reason I didn't give this product a zero is because it was not one of the choices. Also I have 3c-4a hair. I bought the whole Tui collection and I have to say I was very disappointed. The shampoo left my hair feeling so weird I can't even describe it but I could sense something was wrong. By the time I put the Smoothie on it did not feel like it was making my hair softer at all. I started to try to detangle my hair in the shower but it felt like i didn't have any conditioner at all in my hair. I decided to let it sit a while longer to see if that would help. so I left it on for about an hour. when I got back in the shower to try to detangle my hair it was worst it felt like my hair was glue together. I had to take this stuff off my hair and use my HH conditioner to detangle my hair and two other conditioners. I have thick hair but it usually takes me less than 15 min to detangle my hair on a regular day, after using this product it took me at least an hour and a lot of conditioner. Even after my hair was detangle I still was left with this weird feeling. And I had to wash my hair the next day I usually wash my hair once or twice a week. This is by far the worst produce I have use.

This product is awesome! It has a nice fruity/flowery smell and moisturizes so well. I use it with a plastic cap, no heat and even after rinsing my hair is still soft.

This product yielded excellent results on my 3c/4a hair. My hair was noticeably softer, more manageable and *very* moisturized than prior to the deep treatment.

I first love the smell of this product..absolutely delish. Second, I like the way it works; it's actually very versatile. I have 3c hair and before doing the bc about three weeks ago, I hadn't relaxed my hair in about a year, but I was still using this product and it worked great as a conditioner. When I chopped it off and revealed my natural curl pattern, I noticed when I applied this product, it really brought out my curl pattern. I have a lot of her stuff, the hair milk, balm, lisa's elxir, khoret amen leave in, etc. but all I need to do is add this to my hair after shampooing and conditioning and viola..great curls, great shine, no frizz and it's like this all day. I will add hair balm for added shine and moisture, but that's all. I know your supposed to use and rinse, but I keep it in my hair as a styling aid..works great.

I am basing my rating on the fact that I am staying away from silicones and bought this product under the impression that it was CG safe. It's not, apparently the formulation changed a while back and the ingredients are different from the ones listed on this page (I'm holding the bottle in my hand right now and the fifth ingredient listed is Amodimethicone). Also, I don't know if the weird smell is inherent to this whole line but her products have some really funky smells. I can't get over the fact that this smells like cough medicine.

This product has the RIGHT idea unfortunately it doesnt live up to my expectations. I have been using this product for over a year because I was too lazy to do my research but I used it on my daughters 3b/c hair she is 19 months and it left her hair soft but then again she's an infant so the likeliness she's walking around with rough hair is not that likely. It's thick and would leave u to believe it would do something, I've even left it in for about 30 mins and considered leaving it in as a leave in or as a cream to moisturize her hair but I think she is too young. I wouldnt recommend this product for hair that doesnt retain moisture.

This is one of my favorite conditioners- it smells delicious and makes my hair noticeably softer.
