Did not do anything good for me. I put it on under a plastic bag then under heat for 1/2 hour. Left my hair dry and frizzy, very big and puffy. My ends especially are dry and frazzled. I also found i had to use quite a bit to get complete coverage. The smell is mild and nice though.

I like this okay, and my hair usually looks good afterwards, but I find it a bit drying if I don't follow it up with the Smoothing Conditioner, and I'd rather not have to. I might try the Repair Me! next time.

I love this stuff. I use it as a leave in almost daily as it is just too expensive for me to rinse out. I started using it because I noticed I was developing mid strand split ends and it has definitely helped combatting this problem. My is super fine and not very dense so it loves a lot of protein. I would not recommend this product as a daily leave in for coarser hair types.

My hair is very protein hungry and this is an often reached for condish for that purpose! I use this as both a PT and as a regular RO, and occasionally as a LI too!

I used this product for the first time about a month ago. It seemed to do what it needed to do. My hair had become over-moisturized, and this product did the job nicely of counter-balancing the over-moisturized effect. Since going natural in January 2011, I haven't had the need for the heavy-duty restorative protein treatments, but realized that my hair still needs an infusion of protein from periodically as a natural. Since it has protein and moisture benefits, it provides my hair with a nice balance.

Great stuff! If your hair is dry you can leave it in and it helps retain moisture and gives great curl definition. I have to use something on top of this to go the distance throughout the day.

My hair normally loves protein, but it really hated this. Dry, frizzy, tangled, horrible looking hair. I had to rewash and DT again the next day to sweet talk my curls back and promise my hair that I'd pour the rest of this down the drain. Thank god it was just a sample! Huge disappointment.

Wow! My hair has gone from loose waves to tighter curls and corkscrews! I'm still a wavy, but I this had been a great curl enhancer.
I have thick, coarse hair. This works best for me if I leave it on no longer than 5 minutes, and follow up with lots of moisture.
The gardenia scent is a bit overpowering, but will fade after rinsing out.

Used it tonight on my 3a, 2b curls. Didn't use any styling products afterwards because I wanted to see what this product would do on its own. I can't keep my hands out of my hair! Incredibly soft with no frizz. I thought it was a little pricey but the good reviews convinced me to give it a try. Glad I did. Can't wait to see what my curls will do tomorrow! Oh, love the scent!

I bought this specifically to use as a protein treatment despite the fact that my hair is not a huge fan of protein. I used it as a PT, followed by Curl Rehab as a DT and my hair just sprung back into lots of waves! My hair had been looking very soft and droopy but brought back my nice waves.

The first time I used Curl Fix, I coated my hair really heavily, left on an hour and came back with limp, lifeless waves. I was really disappointed. The second time around I used it after having to wash my hair due to a product my skin was reacting to. I used only a little-about teaspoon sized blob-and left it all day with my hair in an updo. The next day, I washed it out with CJ Daily Fix and the result was full, shiny, soft, bouncy curls. If you have fine hair, remember a little goes a long way. My husband has coarse hair and he uses a bit more and loves it. I also love the smell. It smells a little old-timey like a classic perfume. Takes me back for some reason.

If you have dry and damaged and protein-loving hair like I do, this is a great addition to your hair care regimen. I have had the nicest, most moisturized hair since adding Curl Fix and Curl Rehab and H&B Fix to my deep treatment and Spritz/Condish routines. I also use this as a leave-in, right before using CIAB, and I mix it with CIAB and water and gel to refresh my hair on second and third and fourth days (as needed). I am not as wild about the scent as I'd hoped. I prefer the scent of Daily Fix, Smoothing Cond., and CIAB. But if you like gardenias, you'll love this.

Awesome! I left it on for an hour under a shower cap-- it gave me really, really shiny, clumpy, perfect curls. Did a great job of moisturizing my curls without weighing them down.

Great moisturizer for dry hair. Made my curls bounce. Banishes frizz. Works even better when you use a heat cap. I highly recommend this. Smells really good!

I used this magic potion for 15 minutes and then followed with the CJ Smoothing Conditioner. I had the best hair day after using these two together. I had to have date night with my curls looking so frizz free!
