I believe I'll be re-ordering this fantastic deep conditioner over and over again. The consistency and slip of this conditioner is awesome. The fragrance doesn't bother me a bit. Detangling is a breeze and it washes out luxuriously. My hair feels wonderful after it's been washed out and I love how it makes my hair clump nicely. I was surprised by the small size of the jar, however, a little goes a long way. It spreads through the hair with ease, so I do believe the jar will last longer than I initially thought; I deep condition once a week. Great product!

Pretty good conditioner so far. I used it with heat for 10 minutes and my hair felt different than usual. It felt moisturized. I think I have low porosity hair, so these types of deep conditioners are the most effective when I leave it on for more than 5 minutes or at least with heat. I have not tried detangling with it yet, but I felt that my hair was less tangled before washing out the product. So next time I will detangle with it. It's a shame it's so expensive, especially for only 8 oz.

I love this as a leave-in, very moisturizing and my curls are popping. I use this as my styler for wash & go's and top with my oil mixture. I haven't been been rinsing it out bcuz it feels so good while it's in plus my hair is never weighed down when leave it in.

I loved the strawberry ice cream smell. It is a very thick and rich conditioner. It does not help detangle at all. I think it is too expensive for 8oz. I have transitioning hair and it was good on my natural part but it did nothing for my relaxed part. Might try again when I am all natural. However, I think I like Curly Kinks better and its a better price. The only problem is it is not always stocked so this might be a good second choice.

The first thing you notice when you open this product is the amazing scent! It smells exactly like strawberry ice cream. The texture is thick and creamy. It literally melts into the hair like butter. It provides nice slip and my hair instantly feels softer and more moisturized. It's definitely multipurpose, serving as a deep conditioner, rinse out or leave in. The price point for the size hurts my wallet. I'd definitely repurchase as a treat to my hair!

This is by far my favorite hairjunkie product. The frangrance is a nice gardinia. My hair soaks up the moisture. I use as a leave in so I don't waste any. My hair is 3B texture. Will purchase again.

LOVE this stuff. I've used it for years, it's always reliable for moisture, detangling and general TLC when my hair really needs it. I love the strawberry scent; I've never tried gardenia coconut. Curl Rehab is a must have for me!

The best protein free DC!!! I have very low porosity hair so I bought a home steamer from LCL beauty which is amazing and I use it in combination with this wonderful DC and my curls are so moisturize and define. I choose this one over some other DC less expensive because it just add a lot of moisture without the protein which will dry out my hair. I get 4 uses out of the jar, still cheaper than paying for a DC at the salon.

This is a very excellent deep conditioner. You only need a small amount and you're good. At one time I was a product junkie, trying different products just to see if I could find the next best thing. I can say I wasted a lot of money but not on this conditioner. This is my hg conditioner. Will definitley keep repurchasing this.

I love this product. I used this product as a deep conditioner on top of oil rinse. I put a plastic cap on and wrap my hair with a hot towel for 30 mins. When I washed everything out, my hair was soft, shiny and very easy to detangle. An added bonus is that it has a very nice smell.. Downside is that is it expensive..

I have a combination of 2c/3a hair (I'm Puerto Rican/Italian). The sides of my hair are really porous, but the back, not so much. I've found that in order for the hair at the back of my head to soak this up I HAVE to use heat. It's a pretty good conditioner, and probably could be used as a leave-in for some, although I prefer something lighter. I haven't decided whether or not I will repurchase because of the price. :/

Tried this on my 3B curls and I was so disappointed. I loved the smell and texture and was hoping for a deep down moisturizing treatment. The result was dry, frizzy hair. It was a very pricey product and though I do not feel that I got my money's worth, I will try mixing it with different homemade treatments to use it up.

This stuff smells amazing!!!! I decided to buy this product because I recently dyed my hair after 8 years of going dye free. Long story short, the lady did a horrible job and I ended up dying my hair twice in less than 24 hours. Again this product smells amazing, and a little goes a long way, so I feel I'm getting my monies worth. I like to apply it after co washing and then leaving it in for 30min - 1hr.

This stuff is AWESOME!!! The Wisconsin winter had taken a hug toll on my hair, it was dry and very brittle. After my usual routine, I put this on my wet hair with a plastic cap and left it in over night then rinsed it out in the morning. The results were fantastic. My hair was like SILK. It's the softest it's ever felt. Best part was that the softness lasted ALL WEEK. This is a great moisturizing treatment but I would be careful of putting on too much as it feels it could easily build up. It seems really expensive for the size but a little goes a long way.

Holy grail product for my low porosity 3c-4a combo hair. I use this as my weekly moisturizing deep conditioner. Just recently did my first henna and I used curl rehab with bee mine beeUTiful deep condish after and my hair was shiny, curls popping and touchable-y soft! Even after styling with Eco styler OO gel, my super defined twa is still soft! I also alternate some weeks and use the curl junkie deep fix if I need some protein...curl junkie deep conditioners are consistent on results...LOVE!

Although I am not crazy about curl junkie stylers, Curl Junkie is the way to go for deep treatments and restorative conditioners. Does exactly what you'd expect it to - goes on easy and moisturizes and detangles like crazy. Since deep conditioners are not everyday products, they last long enough to be well worth the price. One caveat - I will tolerate pretty much any smell as long as a product works, but I absolutely cannot stomach the gardenia coconut scent. I love coconut scented products so I must just have an aversion to gardenia. Anyway, def prefer the strawberry ice cream scent.

My hair has been feeling dry lately, my guess would be I've been using giovanni direct leave-in which has protein in it. But I needed protein a while back because my hair was shedding. Well now I need moisture so I used this as a leave-in, sealed with my oil mixture then followed up with Oyin handmade sugar and berries pomade. My hair feels nice and moisturized. Good combo.

Good Stuff! I took one star off because of the price , and also it took a while to receive even though I paid an extra $8.00 for 2-day shipping.

My daughter has the LOWEST porosity possible (hair strands will never reach the bottom of that water filled cup) , as a result it's very hard to keep her hair moisturized. In addition to naturally dry hair she has severe protein sensitivity. Protein in my daughter's fine curly hair wreaks havoc , so we try and avoid products with harsh, protein rich ingredients. I am very happy with the results , my daughter's hair is a lot more softer and shiner looks overall a lot more healthy. Let me just say this conditioner moisturizes very well, considering the fact that it's a challenge for products to penetrate my daughter's tight hair follicles. The conditioner is also light weight and does not cause heavy build-up.

I recommend the conditioner for naturally curly girls with the following hair properties:

    1. Low porosity
    2. Very fine hair
    3. 3c-4a
    4. Protein Sensitive

Posted by Paraty (Type Unknown) on 12/29/2013

I originally purchased this to use as a leave-in some years ago and when that didn't work out, I finished up the jar as a deep conditioner. Sometimes it would leave my hair hydrated and springy, sometimes tangly and coated. The reason I am giving this conditioner five stars is that it started working amazingly for me once I figured out my hair type: FINE, LOW POROSITY. Difficult to get moisture in the cuticles and prone to buildup from heavy products. With my hair type, I cannot apply moisturizing products to wet hair and have them absorb. That goes for deep conditioners and leave-ins. My hair has to be damp. I now deep conditioner with this on freshly washed hair that has been t-shirt dried or dried by twirling and squeezing, no towels involved. A little goes a long way so I don't need to take globs out of the jar. I then spritz my hair with warm/hot water after the first application to help it absorb, t-shirt or squeeze dry again, and apply a second layer to fully saturate my hair. I then pin up the sections and let the deep conditioner sit for 5-10 minutes. This conditioner has been leaving my hair soft, hydrated, pliable and with a healthy shine. Simply amazing! I continue to follow this routine of applying to damp hair and not leaving it on too long and I've gotten comments on how much healthier, moisturized and darker my hair looks. ETA: I prefer the Gardenia Coconut scent because it is less sweet.

If you don't use Curl Rehab, what are you doing??

I love this product. The first time I used it, I couldn't believe I was touching my own hair. Oooh luxurious softness. The Gardenia-Coconut scent? Delicious. I want to eat my own hair.

One thing I will say, the last two times I used it, didn't quite get the same effect. Don't know if my hair is getting harder to penetrate? Sometimes it feels like almost too much moisture - I would love to vary it with another conditioner. I don't feel good about using it every week. Still, this is the HG of deep conditioners.

I have already written a review for this product but I just have to up-date a few things. First of all this is an amazing conditioner. Like the best out there. I used this mainly after a henna to replace some much needed moisture back in my hair. This product never fails post henna. Side note: I add a little castrol oil just to give it an xtra boost but its good on its own. I brought JCWDC I hope that is just as good as this as I want to rotate between the two. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that. Will try it in another 2wks when I repeat my henna txt.

This is my favorite conditioner. It is very moisturizing. It detangles well. The texture is creamy and easy to spread. I used this along with the CJ Repair Me to repair damage from the cold weather and shedding. I had just moved from Florida to Virginia. BIG CHANGE!!! I had not had much shedding or dry hair after alternating the two products every other week. I used CJ Smoothing lotion as my leave in and styler and my hair was soft, detangled and didn't shed much maybe about 10 to 15 strands per once a week wash. I freaking love this stuff! It gave me my hair back.

Hair Stats: 3B, waist length, low porosity and normal density.

Money's tight, and I'd been adding water to my conditioner to make it last until I could afford to buy the good stuff, and my dry curls were suffering. I used a couple palmfuls, detangled, and used a couple clips to hold up my hair for about 5 min., as instructed. My hair is transformed - no more dry curls; just shiny, defined, non-frizzy glory. Highly recommended!

I was excited to buy this product because of the rave reviews that it got from curlmart & curly nikki. However, this product was not worth the money. I originally thought that the size of the container didn't add up to the cost but was willing to pay anything if it meant that the results was going to be spectacular. But it wasn't. My first time applying this product, I used up half of the container (& I was trying to apply it sparingly). I let it sit for 15-20 mins with a heating cap. I tried finger dangling my hair with it on, but it wasn't silky/slippery enough. I rinsed it out in hopes my hair would feel soft or moisturized. It didn't. I ended up reconditioning it with another product. Waste of money. Not impressed. Sad face x 2. I wanted to love this product so badly. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.

This is an average deep conditioner. I was not blown away by it as expected considering the hefty price tag. It didn't have great slip and went on a little rough. I would not repurchase due to the price and as there Are other dc's out on the market that are cheaper and convenient.

This is the best deep conditioner I have ever used. I add some castrol oil to it just to give me some extra moisture after my henna treatments. I just ordered my second jar. It should be arriving soon, but I can wait being that I only use it after my henna treatments. Wonderful product.

This is an extremely moisturizing conditioner. I have used it three times. The first time I wondered what was the big deal about this. It melted into my hair with almost no traces. My hair came out good that time, but the best use was as an overnight deep pre-poo treatment. Even after blow drying my hair, my hair was super duper soft. If your hair is protein sensitive, this is a great moisturizing deep conditioner. The cost is a bit high for such a small size. Also, because I have waist length hair I'll probably only get 6 to 7 uses out the jar but it is definitely worth it. I will re-buy.

Nice slip, pleasant scents, and these can double as leave ins. They work for my multi textured, normal-high porosity hair, leaving it soft even after rinsing. I do wish it was less expensive and that CurlMart carried the larger size, but this is an excellent product.

I have 3b/3a hair which is also lightened from dark to light blond. I am a fan of CJ products but this DT did nothing special for me. It's okay for moisture but my curls where not bouncy afterwards like with some other DT. So I am happy I just bought a sample of this one as for the price I expect better results. Will try out the other CJ DT next maybe they are suited better for my hair.

My hair type if 4a/4b and I love this stuff. I rarely use products how they are "supposed" to be used. I buy things and I figure out how they will do best on MY HAIR. This is a great DC, RO, or LI (if you water it down). I love it makes my hair super soft. It doesn't have much slip, but it does aid in detangling. Now, are there cheaper DC's that will do the same thing, yes. But, will they last as long and are they as VERSATILE? NO. This is one of the few DC's that can do just about anything as far as a conditioner goes. A little really does go a long way. I have had this jar for months (over and I use it religiously and I am not even halfway though the jar. So, twenty bucks about twice a year, I'll take that. Love this product. But, if you are looking for something with slip I agree with the other reviewers this will not do the trick. But, if you are looking for an EXCELLENT conditioner that can be used many ways, it's definitely worth a try. Especially if you are like me and your family has all different textures and types, finding products that can be used on both heads is a lifesaver.

I should have read the ingredients before I used it. While it was in my hair my scalp started burning, so I rinsed it out - my hair was really soft but my scalp is still burning and I have prickly bumps on my face. I LOVE this product! This product works well on my wash days, co wash days, and just when I need a moisturizing refresher for my hair. For my wash day routine, I cleanse my hair with a Chagrin Valley shampoo bar (usually the Ayurvedic one), condition with either Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkin Seed Conditioner or Oyin Honey Hemp, then DC with this or Bee Mine- Bee U Tiful DC or Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent DC (all three have a nice smell, are thick and creamy, and moisturize my hair well :]). This conditioner going on feels great, but also even after the product rinses out, my hair still reaps the benefits. I settled on the strawberry scent and it smells delicious. I highly recommended this product to anyone with dry thirsty hair, especially 4a/b/c beauties.

I normally do straight up coconut oil DTs, and use these "deep treatment" products more as an extended RO in the shower when my hair needs a little extra conditioning. This one is my favorite! It leaves my hair feeling like butta. According to the CJ selection guide, my porous hair should prefer the banana & hibiscus deep fix, so I'll try that next. I heart CJ products- ALL of them so far have been impressive.

Worth the money and the chance, It didn't strip my hair. My hair still felt smooth and well moisturized.

Well I am certainly impressed. I overdid it on a protein treatment and it did a really good job in restoring my moisture back the first time I used it. It goes on so smoothly and really infuses moisture to your hair leaving your hair soft and kinda silky. Soft curls are in full effect. Love it!

I Love this! I just bought it off this site and tried it for the first time. I usually have to use a bunch of a product but not with this! It sticks to your hair so you don't have to keep re-applying. I use the strawberry ice cream and the smell is heavenly. My hair feels like its went back in time before all the straightening and dying. I definitely love this product!

It's that good! Use this at least once a month and your hair will thank you, especially those who are protein sensitive. I use this on both my 3c/4a and my daughter's 4b hair with success. Just wish better scents were offered, minus 1 curl for that and the price point.

Used this as a DT after my first henna, could not soften my hair, felt like I had not used anything. I did not give it a lower rating because it was the SECOND DT I gave myself after that henna trying to soften my hair. I need to use it again under less ugly circumstances. I also used other products trying to soften that henna and had to wash my hair 2 more times to ensure I was not getting a reaction to product overload--my next henna was better. I am not sure that it was not the henna that was the problem--my point is that this was not an HG or miracle worker for me and right then, I needed a miracle--now with my next henna, I found an HG and immediately ordered more--that was the Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent DC--THAT made my henna head BOW DOWN AND RECOGNIZE who was in charge. LOL

I have been hearing sooo many things about this product. So when CurlMart had the freeshipping it was on my HAVE TO BUY RIGHT NOW LIST! With that being said it was just okay. I purchased this strictly for deep conditioning. You don't need a dryer to enhance the conditioner which is a plus. It did detangle my hair and make it soft but...it was just kind of average. The CURLS Ecstacy Hair Tea Conditioner now that Deep Conditioner is the best in my arsenal of conditioners. Would I repurchase the Curl Rehab again-yes...would I break my neck to try and repurchase...No.

I've just started using this for twisting on dry hair. Don't expect a lot of hold, but I like to do chunky for a curly afro and retwist every night...so it doesn't matter. Put a bit of argan oil on the ends and you'll have soft hair. Love it. A major staple; it's a 3 in 1 product: deep conditioning, leave-in, and a twist out cream.

This conditioner is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I usually use Aussie 3-Minute Miracle & leave it in for around 15-30minutes to detangle with a wide tooth comb, which works like a charm but its moisturizing properties coupled with the time it takes to detangle left me searching for something better. This conditioner is it! I can detangle my hair in 10 minutes & it smells GREAT! It leaves both my 3B & 3C curls voluptuous & full of life - not stripped or stringy! Ill be using this conditioner until they refuse to sell it to me!

I'm going around today basically reviewing everything I ever purchased (and used). So for me, this product was okay, or maybe even less than okay. My hair was not really more moisturized, but it didn't actually feel stripping (which aloe sometimes does to me), so I wasn't going to rate this lower than average.
I used it as a RO (so-so), DT (anywhere from 15-20 min to 2.5 hours), and even as a refresher (with some water). The plus side to the fact that it's otherwise mediocre and doesn't do much (compared to my DIY current DC), is that it smells great. I am really smell sensitive, and the smell was light, but still pleasant. I can't do fragrance-free stuff, because the smell of unscented product (the "product-y sort of smell) drives me nuts, and at times can give me a headache).
NOTE: My hair is what I would call aloe-sensitive. I can't use much aloe at all, and it often makes my hair stringy and otherwise strange. If you already use aloe-based products, and your hair thrives on them, the negative part of this review won't apply to you. :)

This is the BUSINESS. Hair feels super soft and healthy, the ingredients are excellent, and I don't know what crackpot thought to combine the fragrances of gardenia and coconut, but THANK GOD for their madness! I was even surprised to find it was easier than I'd have thought to stretch the (sadly small) 8 oz. container. If you are protein-sensitive, even just occasionally, absolutely keep a jar of this handy--it's my "curls ain't feeling protein this week" deep treatment. (3a/b)

This product has a learning curve. When I first tried this, I was so disappointed. I felt like the product had no slip and it didn't allow me to finger detangle. The next time I tried it, I made sure my hair was soaking wet before I put the conditioner on. This seemed to activate the conditioner and allowed it to better penetrate my strands. The first time I purchased the gardenia coconut scent. It smelled spicy in my opinion and I didn't smell the coconut scent at all. The strawberry ice cream smells better and I recommend that scent over the others.

It is just alright, can find the same moisture or even more from products like Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose for much cheaper and it containing more product. I used the whole container in so many ways and same thing every time. My main issues with the product is that it didn't hold moisture in my hair over time like other conditioners I have tried. I wanted to really like this conditioner.

After all the great reviews this product has I was hopeful it would be wonderful on my moisture-starved hair but that was not the case. This didn't leave my hair feeling very conditioned or moisturized, although that might have to do with the fact that I have low porosity hair and this is loaded with butters and oils. I tried it as a leave-in, prepoo, deep conditioner and the results were nothing special. I wish it worked because the strawberry ice cream scent is heavenly!

This is an excellent deep conditioner to use after washing hair by itself or with a steamer, hooded dryer, etc. This will noticeably soften your hair and ease the detangling process. I bought the gardenia-coconut scent and it's pleasant, non-lingering. Compared to Jessicurl's weekly deep treat I can't tell the difference except for $3.05. Happy Hair!

This stuff is amazing I have been using it for more than a year now and it is still my staple conditoner. I do have 3C/4A hair couldnt put both types in there so I cant change it. I have the Gardenia Coconut and it smells good. I would say that the smell is mild and not to strong because I am sensitive to smell but this has no effect on my sinius's. Also I would like to state that this product is pricey but worth it and you can get way more than 5-6 uses out of it because a little goes a long way..no need to be heavy handed plus if you section your hair detangle and use twists you use way less products this stuff usually lasts me about six months and I have shoulder length hair, you dont necessarily need a lot of product on your hands i usually take about a small dip with two fingers and that seems to work(I deep condition once a week and sometimes every two weeks depends on my schedule). I also used it as a overnight conditioner and the results are amazing none the less. I would recommend this product for 3C to 4C because it is very moisturizing and in the summer this bad boy helps with frizz too.

I think this is a pretty decent deep conditioner. It isn't a holy grail product that leaves me with moisturized hair for days but it did a pretty standard job of moisturizing in fall weather and the smell was a really sweet and fake strawberry one but not unpleasant. The consistency is goopy and a light type of creamy, easily spreadable and lasted for about 5-6 uses. I don't think it's worth the price, especially since it can't be found on land. But not horrible.

I use a leave-in conditioner (currently seeking new one, I have been using Paul Mitchell "The Conditioner"), and put in AG Hair Re:Coil Activating Balm. All three products are amazing. My hair is permed, and breaks something fierce on the ends. It is also thinning on the top (post-baby and genetics). My curls are amazing and back to the way they were pre-baby; soft and full of life!!! My hair is literally transformed.

I think it is pretty moisturizing and I have very dry hair. I prefer to leave it in overnight, I always see the best results with everything when I leave it in overnight though. I don't know if it's just because my hair likes products to be left in overnight or if it's this product.

This is a really nice product for my fine, dry 3b curls! It smells UNBELIEVABLE (I got the coconut gardenia scent, and it's amazing and tropical, but not overpowering), feels nice and moisturizing when I put it through my wet hair, rinses out nicely after a half hour or more of deep treatment. I gave if 4 curls instead of 5 because it isn't the very best thing I've ever tried (I like Deva Heaven in Hair; and frankly, using a raw egg works nicely for my hair, and costs much less), but it is EXCELLENT, and very natural. I feel good about supporting a small, woman-owned business, too. I definitely recommend this product -- and everything in CJ's line.

Now since you have a background on my hair, let me tell you that this stuff is B O M B as a leave in!!!! I mix a whole 16 ounce of unrefined shea butter with a whole 8 ounce of curl rehab and a tad of sweet almond oil and viola .... as my concoction of a leave in, it leaves my hair soft, moisturized, tangle free hair for literally days on end it is fabulous. On top of that a little goes a long way seeing that I wash my hair once a week and I only apply my leave in on wash day. And mmmmm the strawberry smell. Any curlygirl

This is another awesome CJ product. I love it as both a deep treatment and as a leave in, I have very dense fine/medium strands and I don't find that this weighs my hair down at all. Sometime I steam with this and then instead of rinsing I'll add some beauticurls on top then proceed with styling which leaves me with soft smell good hair. I would definitely recommend this product as well as be sure to keep my self stocked up! :)

I found this to be a good conditioning hair treatment for me while transitioning. I purchased the Strawberry Ice Cream scent which smells really good to me. For best usage, I use this treatment as a leave-in conditioner and it helps to retain moisture in my thick, coarse hair (type 4a) which is usually straw-like to texture. I find that using it as a leave-in is best for me in doing rod sets and two-strand twist outs as it helps the curls to maintain definition. While working with permed and natural textures I do have some frizz after washing. For my hair I would also like to note that it becomes difficult to detangle after washing or co-washing. I still find this to be a good product for moisture and softness.

This is a dream conditioner in terms of making your hair silky and tangle-free while combing out in the shower. However, I did notice that it made it somewhat bushy and frizzy once it dried.

HOWEVER, someone suggested using it as a leave-in and now I'm in love!! Hello to big, round sexy curls, ranging from a few tight spirals to cute, lazy S curls! It perks up even the parts that don't want to curl. I have used it as a leave-in on the first day, or after rewetting on the second day, and next thing you know I have "Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out" curls! It clumps like crazy, too. I am considering alternating this with my other leave in ("MOP Leave in conditioner"), which makes it tighter and more controlled, to have two looks.

I have tried this three different times and each time it left my hair feeling dy - almost strawlike. I was really disappointed because it seemed to work so well for others. My hair did not absorb it, it just set on my strands. I tried it with heat, and as a leave in and each time it was a no go. I guess curl rehab is jsut not for me. I just wished it was available in a sample size rather than shelling out money for the entire container to only find out that it does not work for my hair. I am a little hesitant to try another Curl Junkie product after this experience.

This is probably the best deep conditioner I have EVER USED! My hair feels as soft, it had wonderful slip so you can not only deep condition your hair but detangle as well. The softness continues into the next day even if I used other products on my hair to style. I love the smell, It smells like cotton candy, The only thing I did not care for is the price, so sadly I'm looking for a replacement, I deep condition every week so this only lasted me a month, so with shipping it almost $30 bucks, that's $360 a year on conditioner. NO MA'MA that is way to much, I looking to spend no more than $15 at the max with shipping and tax included. But even though this product breaks my pockets I still LOVE it.. 5 Stars!!!

After using this just once, I made the firm decision to purchase back ups so that I would never be without it. It was AMAZING! It takes just a little bit of this custard like cream to coat your hair and the results are silky, soft, sweetly scented, decadently moisturized tresses. Every curly girl needs this treatment in their beauty closet!

I have tried a lot of deep conditioners but this has been my favorite so far. I have long hair and had been thinking about cutting it because it looked stringy and fell weird but after only one use (I left it on for 10 minutes in the shower) my curls form better and it actually falls the way I want it to. Plus the strawberry ice cream scent is amazing! I will definitely repurchase and recommend to others.

This conditioner is AMAZING! I first tried it when I was fully relaxed and I fell in love with it. Now I'm transitioning and it still does an incredible job :0). It really helps me get a handle on my two textures. I can detangle with ease and it leaves my NG very moisturized. This is my SUPER STAPLE!

I adore this deep conditioner! I wash my hair every other day. I start with Curl Junkie's Curl Rehab covered up with a shower cap for about 5-10 minutes, then follow with Kinky-Curly's Come Clean shampoo, and Kinky-Curly's Knot Today leave-in. It has worked wonders on my hair. The scent is delightful and a tub has lasted me probably about three months, so the price doesn't bother me. Definitely recommend if you have really dry hair!

I really don't see this product as a deep conditioner. IMO this is a wash out conditioner or a leave- in conditioner or a styler. I gave it a three because this does not act as a dc on my hair- meaning that my hair was not soft and well moisturized after using this product. If you have thirsty hair like my hair go with the Curl Junkie Deep Fix. Also the texture of the product was very thin, (not as thick as the deep fix) but you don't need to use a lot of product (with deep fix I tend to use a lot more, but I still love it). It does smell nice (very light white floral scent). I would not repurchase, but I would recommend it for those whose hair is not dry, and need a light moisturizer.

Very rich and a little goes a long way, which is rare for deep treatments. The smell is very intense, but I am not super sensitive to that. I probably could not stand it if I had used the flowery option, though.

I love this conditioner. It is very moisturizing. Very thick. Pleasant smell. Absorbs quickly into my hair. Works as a leave-in, works as a deep conditioner. One of the best conditioners I haved used. Oyin Honey Hemp and this product are my two favorite conditioners so far. No complaints about this conditioner at all. Stellar product. Heads and shoulders above most other conditioners I have tried recently.

This left my curls super silky soft and it really does smell just like Bryer's strawberry ice cream. I've used this after protein treatment and alone and it is fantastic either way. I'll be trying the coconut gardenia scent too. This is one of the most moisturizing conditioners I've used.

I have dense 4a type curls and I've recently used this product as a leave-in both for a twistout and numerous wash n go styles. The first time I used way too much product but have since realized my mistake. I've never used a deep conditioner as a leave-in before so was surprised at how this provided what I needed in one product instead of using a leave-in then a moisturizer, this has all the ingredients of both so I only have to use one thing. I will definitely rebuy.

I used Curl Junkie Curl Rehab for the first time last night and I have never been so impressed with a conditioner in my life! I separated my 3c curls into four sections, applied the product, and covered my hair with a plastic cap for about an hour. When I rinsed my hair with a cool water rinse, my hair was extremely moisturized, tangle-free, and easy to style. I think I'm beginning a new love affair with Curl Junkie. I am very impressed...

This conditioner has tons of slip, and once you rinse it out your hair is soft, smooth, and moisturized! HG deep conditioner!!! I have been using CR for a few months now as a weekly (overnight) deep condish on dry hair. When I wash it out the next day, my hair is "melt in your hands" soft! The strawberry scent is intoxicating as well. The only con is that the 8 oz jar is too small (I used too much the first time b/c I was unaware that a little goes a long way). The price is a bit high, but the great results make it worth every penny. Can't wait to get the 32 oz. pump bottle!

I LOVE this product but after waking up from my product love hangover I've sobered up and have to admit that for me $20+shipping for only 8 oz is not something I can support. I'll buy this product during deep sales/promotions but there are other products out there that will do as good a job that are OTG and cost less.

This is my HG deep conditioner. I have to leave it on for a bit for it to work, but then it's just outstanding. My hair is perfectly moisturized after using this. I love the strawberry smell. At first, I thought it was odd because it looks and smells exactly like strawberry yogurt. But now I am hooked. I had to give it 4 stars, though, because it's expensive and you get such a small amount.

I like this! It gave my hair a really lovely sheen and my entire head feels so soft. It didn't really work for me as a DC-my hair just didn't feel moisturised enough- but as a leave in it's great! Do wish it was just a bit more moisturising though but I will definitely repurchase. Curlmart you need to start selling the bigger size of this!

I have only used it once, but I love it. I love the strawberry scent, and I love the way my hair felt afterwards. It was so soft (baby soft) and moisturized I thought maybe I hadn't washed all of the conditioner out. I think I can get a good 5 uses out of this 8 oz, so it's well worth the money to me. My next use will be as a DC, so I'm hoping I'll get even better results.

Curl Rehab is a fantastic deep conditioner that moisturizes and adds remarkable softness. It helps detangle my hair, and it leaves it feeling bouncy. Like other Curl Junkie products, Curl Rehab is very gentle to my face, and this treatment actually feels great on my skin! Wowza! I was literally at a lost for words when I first used this product. I have very high expectations for Curl Junkie products because they have never failed me or my multitextured hair. I had to use this product for about 2.5 months before leaving a review because I wanted to make sure that I genuinely liked the product and was not mystified by my love of Curl Junkie, the brand. Well...I've used it with a steamer and left it in overnight and I LOVE it. Tomorrow I will be in mourning as I used the last bits and scrap the corners of the jar like a crazy person-just kidding. Every single time that I've used this product my curls have been hydrated, incredibly bouncy, and dare I say, juicy. Never before has a deep conditioner given me this much restoration of color, liveliness and fullness. I also like to leave a bit in when I wash it out just to give my curls that extra boost. I will be purchasing the 32 oz and hoarding it from my friends and family like a true product junkie-not kidding.

My HG conditioner. This is fabulous stuff. I use this as a regular conditioner every time I co-wash. My curls LOVE it. I'm 3A (I think! - but my hair has different type curls in different places). I've tried many conditioners, among them: I didn't like Deva conditioner, found AOHR too heavy and La Coupe Silky Smooth was wonderful but has a cone. This is as good as the La Coupe without cones. My hair gets dry and highly porous because I use permanent hair coloring, and this restores the moisture and bounce.

Love this stuff! I used it in conjunction with CJ Beauticurls, and it works awesomely! My hair is normally 2a/3a i think...but it was a very fried 2c over the last month after an at-home haircolor disaster. I used CJCR and left it in for about 30 min with no heat, then rinsed and re-conditioned with CJ Beauticurls, and my hair is completely restored. I can't use protein DTs, conditioners, or styling products, so I'm always on the look-out for products that are pure moisture. This fits the bill perfectly.
I got the Gardenia-Coconut and I love the smell. It's strong while it's in your hair but fades after rinsing. Personally I wish it would linger a little more after rinsing, but that's just me.
If you've destroyed your hair and nothing is helping coax it back to life, I'd definitely give this a try. It's expensive, yes, but I'm willing to lay down some serious cash to have beautiful hair! And beautiful hair is what CJCR gives me.

I find this DC just OK. I love the smell of the strawberry but I didn't really find that my hair was any softer than usual. I don't usually goop on a lot of conditioner (but I definitely put enough to coat my entire head) and maybe that is why I didn't like it as much...I don't know. To me, it's way too expensive with mediocre results.

This DC is AMAZING!! Oh my! It made my hair feel super soft and it made my hair look so shiny after one use. My hair is extremely damage from neglect. (Depressed, didn't care about my hair AT ALL.) So, I used this. I mixed it with CJ Daily Fix Co. w/ Spirals Solution Protein Treatment. You can say that my hair looked pretty rad. Lol, I'm just so excited and happy with the outcome. Buy it, you will not regret it. Especially if your hair is dry and damaged.

I love this conditioner. I'm a 3c/4a and my hair felt like silk. I've tried several deep conditioners. This one goes on smooth & silky. When I washed it out 4 hours later it still felt great. The biggest selling point for me was that my hair felt moisturized AFTER I rinsed the conditioner out which had been a problem for me previously.

Pretty moisturizing but not as a deep treatment. A moisturing leave-in but still leaves some frizz so need a styler with this. Smells awesome but I like Oyin hair dew better as a leav-in and Jessicurl WDT or Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose as a deep treatment.

This conditioner has great slip and makes my hair really shiny, soft and well-moisturized. It also works really well with all of my styling products b/c it's not too heavy. Unfortunately, some ingredient in the Curl Rehab gives me really bad acne breakouts on my forehead, so I can't use it anymore. If you don't have sensitive skin like I do and acne isn't a problem for you then I would highly recommend this product.

Great Stuff! It is good for any conditioning purpose, but I like Curl Rehab best as a leave in or second day smoother. I usually prefer a "heavier" conditioner for a rinse-out. Didn't care for the strawberry scent. Loved gardenia-coconut - after I am done applying it to my hair, I always rub what's left on my fingers on to the back of my hands and arms so I can enjoy the smell later. Intoxicating.

Holy crap this stuff is good! I just got it as part of a gift pack. It not only smells amazing, it is really thick and does wonders for my parched 3b curls. The only reason for only giving it 4 stars is that it's pretty expensive for how much you get, esp. of you need a lot for 3B hair.

My hair loves this as a PT/DT. I use it as a deep conditioning PT rather than just a DT because I don't do DT's, I like to let things sit in my hair for an hour or so before I get in the shower. I love the strawberry ice cream smell! Makes my 3b hair nice and soft, and my hair always curls nicely after. The only reason it gets 4 curls, not 5, is the price. I can't afford to spend $20 for 8oz of a DT. Alot of curlies of alot thick, heavy hair (esp. if you're a 3b!) and a jar of this will only last 4 or 5 uses if used conservatively. That's not very good value. In general, the Curl Junkie stuff would be great if it were affordable!!

Amazing stuff. Really has improved the FEEL of my superdry, superporous, color-treated, med-to-coarse hair. I had good moisture for almost all my hair for 24 hours (which is rare. I tend to have to remoisturize up to three times a day, that's how porous and dry I am). I added more to ends on 2nd day and ended up with nice third day hair. This and CIAB make my hair touchably soft while curly-defined. Now, if CJ could add a shine-factor (my hair needs more shine), I'd be set. :) GREAT product. Recommended. (Oh, and I got Gardenia Coconut, which is pleasant, but wanna try strawberry!)

It's too heavy for me to use daily, but it's a perfect DT.

CJCR is a very versatile product. It can be used as a daily conditioner, leave-in (LI), and a deep treatment (DT) depending on your hair's texture, porosity, and density. If you have fine and thin wavy hair then the best use is as a deep treatment for which it performs sublimely. It has enough slip to work through your hair, you do not need a ton of product, and your hair will suck it right up and thank you. Those with more medium-coarse textures can use it as a daily conditioner and a leave-in. We've done both a DT and used this as a daily regular rinse out condis as well as a leave-in for my daughter's very dense fine to coarse hair. Our preference on her hair is more of the daily conditioner and leave-in. As a leave-in we have never had a product get her hair as soft and silky as this one. It does not leave her hair greasy, limp, producty, etc no matter how much we use. This conditoner comes in two scents: Strawberry and Gardenia-Coconut. My daughter is fine with either but I prefer Strawberry as I'm not keen on florals. The scent of the Gardenia one does not linger however if you are worried about it. We found the strawberry scent to linger longer in our hair. Highly recommended for all hair types.

Love Love Love this product. A really super fantastic deep conditioning treatment. The gardenia-coconut scent is really nice too.

My first job was in an ice cream parlor. Each shift, we were allowed to take home one treat. My favorite was always Butter Pecan Ice Cream with strawberry topping and whip cream. HELLO! This product smelled just like that teenage dream dessert. I slathered it all over my head and enjoyed a walk down memory lane. Added bonus: My hair came out of it feeling like silk. I did experience a disconcerting stinging on my scalp and neck after I sat with it on my head for a few minutes. But, I got over it.

Okay, I'm sold on this stuff. Love-love-LOVE the strawberry ice cream fragrance (didn't smell any of the oils/extracts...instead smelt JUST LIKE strawberry ice cream). Amazing clumping after using, low frizz. Happy curls!

Loved it! Made my hair feel silky and noticibly more touchable. Smells delicious, do not eat! :)

    Fine 3A

My hair loved this product. I left it on for about 5 minutes while in the shower. Then I added my products and styled. I had the best curls I have had in a long time. I will be using this weekly!

Love it! Very hydrating; my hair soaks it up. And my styling products seem to work better after using this.
