This doesn't do much for me as a styler, but I do like it to SOTC.

This product is AMAZING. It adds a soft hold to my curls for wash and go's/twist outs. Keeps my hair from turning into a huge frizzball in the Texas humidity. Will repurchase again and again.

Provides good hold, 4A hair, leaving no hard crunch or flakes. Lightly fragrant. I use this over the Smoothing Lotion (nothing else added) and I receive good definiton and great shine each time. The gel is thin almost watery, not sticky.

This is a product that does what it says. It smells okay (like creamsicle) and added shine and light hold. This was not strong enough for my 3c/4a mixed hair. If I weren't lazy, I'd use this as a finisher for twist-outs and wash-and-gos, but I don't really make room for more than one styling product. I would not rebuy for myself. I gave the rest of the bottle I had to someone with 3b hair.

Love the product. Really light and serum like texture. It doesn't provide any weight to my curls or weigh them down any but it works PERFECT over a gel to eliminate some crunch and give good shine.

My hair looked shiny . . . it felt soft and healthy . . . and my curls were ABSENT. I tried soaking wet application, just-damp application, plopping, diffusing, I blamed it on hard water and got a filter, I used just a little, I used a lot, I tried it at night, I tried first thing in the morning, in heat, cold, humidity, dryness . . . I could not get the definition, volume, or spring the reviews led me to believe I'd find from this. And I really, really tried--I've only got about 2oz. left! I am using up the last of it to smooth and seal when I wear my hair up, since it does eliminate frizz and leave my hair shiny and soft. I just end up with weirdly ropey-loose-identity-crisis curls where I used to have spirals. Also, a quibble and matter of purely personal taste, but as a grown woman, I do not care to smell like a "creamsicle." (3a/b)

I used after by DE leave in conditioner. It left my hair feeling soft and my curls defined. I finished with SheaMoisture's curl souffle for extra hold. I get 4 day hair with this routine.

WHAT???? Best of the Best 2012??? I think there are better products than this one. Ok, I have twin daughters with different hair. One has normal pretty wavy hair that gets frizzed easily, the other has dry, curly, frizzy hair. The way I tested the result of this this product is by putting it on before they leave for school and see who comes back with the less frizz.... Guess what? they both did, in different ways of course because they both have different hair. This product is a bit watery and does not have much hold. For the price, you can get better stuff. My opinion....

So, I've been using this product for several weeks, and I don't really have an opinion.

It doesn't really weigh down my hair, doesn't dry it out or make it heavy. But, I can't say it's ever really made a huge impact on my hair. Well, nothing noticeable.

I'll continue to use it until it's gone, but I don't know if I'll feel compelled to buy a new one.

This product didn't do much for my slightly curly hair. I need a product that gives body and bounce to my curls. It may work better after a fresh perm. Will try then.

I thought this was just ok. The product I use (From Target, costs less than $10 for an 8oz bottle) works even better at fighting halo frizz. This product contains PVP copolymer and hydroxyethylcellulose - the other ingredients are nice, but these are the two that make it a gel. The polymer industry has come up with better polymers than PVP copolymer that fight fizz and humidity without any residue and leaving the hair feeling natural (not stiff). Those better polymers can be found in hair gels that cost the same or less than Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle. The bottom line is that PVP copolymer is one of the cheapest gel polymers on the market, and Curl Junkie uses clever, targeted marketing to sell this hair gel at an incredible markup. I'm not bashing them - most hair care companies do the same. They rely in part on consumer hype to sell the product, when in reality it doesn't perform any better than cheaper products (and it may perform worse than some). I was really unimpressed with this hair gel's performance on my Type 3b, fine, highly porous hair after using it for a week in dew points ranging from just under 30 to around 50. I'll stick with my Target gel which costs 40% less than Curls in a Bottle and contains a state-of-the-art copolymer (Carbopol Ultrez) that really helps my hair fight humidity.

This product is amazing!! I just big chopped on Christmas Eve and did my first wash and go using CIAB. I used it over the CJ Beauticurls leave-in and I was very pleased with the way that my hair came out. The curls were very defined (I have 4a/b hair), but the thing that made me love this product even more is the shine and moisture that it added to my curls. I used a gel before using CIAB and got pretty much the same curl definition as CIAB but not the shine and moisture. It did dry a little hard, but I just scrunched that out. Since I will be working with my TWA for a while, CIAB will be my go to styler for months to come!!!

I know that people really love this product, but I found it just doesn't do anything for me that a dab of evoo wouldn't do. I didn't find that my hair was particularly shinier after using it or less frizzy. The fact that it's also moisturising meant that I could over moisturised my hair when I did my wng's, which made my hair more frizzy. My hair is sensitive to the Agave Nectar too so I can't use it in low dews. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it is a decent product and definitely worth a try if you're curious. But I'll just stick to a much cheaper bottle of evoo!

This was my first time using CJ products my hair is 3b to 3c very fine. This is not a curl enhancer and wont enhance what you don't have. Before purchasing I went to the CJ website and went to their blog and Marsha the owner goes into great detail on each product. This is more like a leave in that will condition your hair. The lable on the bottle is misleading. I like the product but it did not leave my hair support moisturize but not dry either. I use it with Curl Keeper this my first time using this product as well. My hair with both product was good but a little frizzy. my hair is natural and always blow dry straight but wanted to give my hair a rest. overal good but probably would not buy again as there are a lot of products out there and a lot less expensive.

I tried using this with the CJ Leave-in and my hair was beautiful for only one day. I've found this is better as a "finisher" to go on top of another gel, like Pattern Pusha. It provides my hair with the shine and softness that I wouldn't have without it. But if I need to wash and go and make a quick puff to run out the door, this is my choice, because my hair will be soft enough to remanipulate the next day should I want to change up the style. Good stuff!

I have 3b afro-asian hair. I love this product because it doesn't leave my hair crunchy and it controls the curls. Second day hair is pretty good, but not great. I like the consistency and smell, too. I typically wash my hair with regular shampoo 2 or 3 times a week. I usually don't use rinse-out conditioner, and opt for a leave-in. I really like Curl Junkie Assurance Smoothing Lotion. I have used tons of curl products: Ouidad, AG recoil, kinky curls and many more. They are all pretty good at controlling my hair in their own way.

This makes your hair very light anbd fluffy. It has a lot of shine very little hold. I tried it under KCCC. I want to try it with the smoothing lotion to see if I can get a bit more curl definition in my looser areas. But I love the feel that this gives to my hair.

I use this with my styling gel as a finisher. I live in a humid climate, so it really helps hold the definition, and keep frizziness away. Plus it ads a nice healthy shine. It's a keeper.

    4a, 3c in the front.

Hmmm...it smells like citrus with a little coconut. Very light fragrance, not overpowering at all. The consistency is sooooo watery which I was not prepared for. I used it on freshly co-washed soaking wet hair. I used my homemade water-based leave in conditioner (water, Olive oil & whatever Vo5 conditioner I'm running low on<<<all mixed up n a spray bottle) & KC Knot-Today underneath. Afterward I applied the 'Curls in a Bottle' all over my hair, concentrating more product in the middle and back sections of my hair. I had to use A LOT of Product and I used my spray bottle that contains only water as needed to dampen. It looked really defined soaking when but after I diffused the curls were not as defined as I'd hoped for and it felt a little dry. I doubt it would define at all on a humid day! BUT it smelled great, feels soft and it's very bouncy. After I diffused, I used an oil to moisturize a bit. I think this product is meant for those who have a looser curl pattern or thinner texture. 4's may not fall in love with it. I'm going to try CJ's other gel based products though, something with a stronger hold. Overall this is nice just not for me so I probably wouldn't repurchase :(

I have long 3a- 3b curls and it is colored to cover gray. This product gives the right amount of moisture and smells fresh without overpowering with scent. It definately takes a little tweaking to get the right amount so your curls arent crunchy. I find it works best when you put it on soaking wet hair and let it dry naturally It leaves your hair great for 2nd day hair also. Love.

Tried it once, ehhhh. Wasn't too excited. Tried it a second time and this time I scrunched a whole palmful into my wet hair. So. Much. Better. Definition, clumping, no frizz, everything that is good in the world of curls. Recommended. Four curls only because it's expensive and I have to use a lot.

Just purchased this last week, and I think I like it a lot! I tried it both alone and as a finisher. Paired with a curl cream from another line (Miss Jessie's Quick Curls), my hair felt dry, product-y, and dull, but perhaps it works better with other products. On its own, I needed a decent amount (a couple tablespoons) for my short 2c/3a curls, but when I scrunch it into soaking wet hair, scrunch out a bit of moisture with a microfiber towel, and try REALLY hard not to touch it until it's dry, I get great, almost frizz-free curls! I took off one star just because it took me a little while to figure out how much to use. In general, I feel like more is better ....

I'm a die-hard user of Curl Keeper and this product seemed like it was very similar and with all the wonderful reviews I thot I'd give it a try and see if it was better than CK. For me, it wasn't better. I'm a 3c and using CIAB still gave me a bit of a fuzzy halo, esp on humid days. It's definately a decent product but I won't be repurchasing it, in fact I just re-ordered a 1-litre of CK which I find is better at keeping the frizzies away.

This gives me great definition, shine and moisture without the greasy feeling. I do wish it had more hold for clumping my curls so I could use it as base styler, but it works great as a finisher for lighter hold products that I have, combining them gives me the right amount of hold and this prevents frizz ensuring 2nd or 3rd day hair!

So how often do you giggle when you see your reflection? I don't very often, but today I've been giggling each time I check out my hair (and, I'll admit to an embarrassing number of checks). The giggles are from joy - because today I got a look I didn't think I could get from my hair! I have curls ranging from 3a-3c depending upon dew point, humidity, dryness, etc. Even though the longest layers of my hair are beneath my shoulders, when my hair is dry, it curls into a look that's a slightly above the jawline bob. I've used CIAB on soaking wet hair, before plopping, and after my hair dried, it didn't Wow me. I could tell this elongated my hair, but it also kind of flattened it, and that didn't look good. I've always wanted my curls to elongate, so my hair could look its length, as well as curly, but I didn't think it was possible...until last week when I tried my current mix for the first time. Dews have been "optimal", so I don't know how this would work with high/low points, but this is the 4th time I've done this product combo, and all 4x it's been perfect. One day I co-washed, and the other 3 I rinsed and applied a bit of KCKT for a leave-in. Then I coated my hair in KCCC. In the morning, I put a little bit of KCSS on the longest ends, waited a little, and then put a puddle of CIAB in my palms, rubbed them together, and scrunched. CIAB is so light, it seems to evaporate instantly, and as it quickly dries, I form my hair with my fingers, and my hair keeps it length with more spiral curls than the usual circles and Scurls. (In Masse- lingo I get more Corkicelli than Botticelli). CIAB makes my hair feel incredibly soft (as does KCCC), and i love feeling my soft hair rub against my shoulders. My hair has a lot of bounce, and I can even play with it a little for shape without frizz attacking immediately. My hair isn't very shiny naturally, so I love the shine I get from CIAB. Many other curl enhancing products are heavier and can leave a dull coating on my hair. This is a product of pure genius. If this didn't work for you on wet hair, give it a try for scrunching!

I've used this product as a finisher on my wash n go styles as well as a refresher. After my condish and a little gel of choice, I apply about a quarter size all over my hair and it provides the shiniest curls I've ever achieved. I would not use this procut alone for my dense 4a type curls because I highly doubt it would provide the look I would like but as a finisher, wow, what a difference a little bit of this product makes. Because I use such a small amount, I think it's worth the price since I am sure this will last me many months.

I finally got this product to try out as I have been at my wits end with Northwest frizzies! Day 1: 3 people today told me how beautiful my hair looked. I can't tell you how amazing that is after the frizzy freak outs i've been having. It feels REALLY SOFT and I still have good curl definition at 9:30pm. I used it when my hair was sopping wet, not even towel dried over the CJ Smoothing Lotion leave-in, and a little extra in some twists all over my head (example: see the curl keeper video). It was a little crunchy when it first dried but scrunching a little made that go away. I still think i have some frizzies, but i think i'm a little oversensitive from the craziness of the last couple of months. We'll see how it holds up in the rainy weather.

I have been dying to try this for months after reading all the fabulous reviews, but I just couldn't bear to spend 20 bucks on a product I had to have shipped. The lack of availability definitely hindered my usual impulse buy product purchase. But I got an gift card for Christmas and decided I would finally take the plunge. I'm really glad I did!
I have 3a hair and live in super dry Colorado, which is super super dry in the winter. I went CG last spring, and so I haven't really experienced the true dehydration that curls face in the winter. I was really struggling, but this product has been great. Although my curls are still looser than at other times, they are consistent and absolutely beautifully shaped - which I will take over the occassional ringlet mixed with icky wavy dry strands any day. I have great loose spirals and C curls with this. Plus, my hair is super soft and shiny!

So far, I have used this over Shea Moisture Curl Custard with good results, and plan to try with a gel on top, as it doesn't have quite the hold I'm looking for. But, I'm also excited about potentially trying other CJ products, since this one has delievered so well!

I have tried this a couple of ways. I tried it over a leave-in conditioner and I got great clumping and frizz control. I tried it alone and it was a little less effective. My favorite way to use it at the moment is as a Winter top layer product. It is very moisturizing over any product and a little goes a long way. I think I am using it almost like a liquid pomade. Weird, I know but it is working so beautifully!

My new beau. I never thought something so light could cause such a wonder! I wish I could post pics in all of my conceitedness :) I really do. I've got spirals, coils, and big "S"ssss... Curls in a Bottle handles them all and makes them shiny for at least 3 days (I wash on Saturdays and Wednesdays). Saturday is for KCCC and Wednesday is for CIAB! It has to be pretty special, in my book, to follow up KCCC in the week--and my hair looks JUST AS GOOD w/out as much fuss!

When I first tried this, I was in love. Shiny, bouncy, nice hold and cheaper than Recoil. And then. . . by day 3, my hair has the texture (and frizz) of straw. I've used it off and on to finish the bottle - usually the day before I no poo. However, I haven't used it for a few weeks and wanted to use up the last bit. It was cloudy in the bottle and put GROSS CLUMPS OF PRODUCT in my hair!! Alas, I'm back to my beloved Recoil.
3c, my hair likes honey and butter, hates aloe vera.

This product has really helped my hair look flawless! My hair gets very frizzy and unmanageable and after reading the reviews i thought it could work for my hair! I put a generous amount into four sections and it gave me second day hair, which i can never get! I combined this with the Hibiscus and Banana Honey Butta leave in conditioner, which added weight to my hair so that i can get the controlled look.
These two products combined have hold but do not leave my hair hard or sticky at ALL! Gives me the bouncy curls that i have always wanted! :)

I am new to the Curl Junkie line of products and I have to say I'm really loving them! The first time I tried this, I used it after I got out of the shower and blotted the excess water from my hair. It didn't do much and I was kind of disappointed. The next time, I put it on in the shower while my hair was still sopping wet - and WOW - what a difference. When applied on sopping wet hair it gave me beautiful shiny curls. I use it together with Curl Fix co-wash and Beauticurls leave in and it's definitely a winning combination for me.

    THIS IS THE BEST
This product is what I've been waiting for!!! My curls came out perfect (though a bit thicker and more stretched than with a gel), it does not feel as though I have any product in my hair. With many gels, no matter how great my hair looks, I can tell that there is a layer of some sort on it (or crunchiness), but with this, my curls are simply soft. I washed my hair with KCCC this morning, applied knot today and then curls in a bottle diffused, let the rest air dry and applied a teeny bit of coconut oil...
It way very rainy and windy today (and my co-workers had their hands in my hair a lot, due to its fab look), and I was afraid to check myself out in the mirror when I got home, but, there I was, perfect curls 10 hours later!!!

The only reason I did not give 5 curls is because I don't know how it'll look tomorrow (or if I can just refresh). Also, the plus of having softer curls can also be bad if you want a certain style...But it is PERFECTION for wash and go's. (for my 3b self)

My hair type is 3 b ( mostly)

This is a great product! I applied to my soaking wet hair following my KKNT leave-in. I diffused for 10-15 mins and got really nice results. My hair was frizz free and defined. I had a little crunch but I scrunched it out. This product is great for hot/humid climates. The reason I gave this product only 4 out of 5 stars is because of the price. I'm a broke college student and I typically don't want to spend more than $10 on a styling aide. I highly recommend this product to anyone that has unruly curly frizzy hair!

It took me awhile to figure out to make this product work for my hair. Several people gave it such raving reviews that I assumed it had to be GREAT! In order for me to really get it work on my hair, I had to layer it over my hair while it was soaking wet and use a wide tooth comb to comb it through. It didn't totally get rid off all my frizz, but it controlled my hair much better thanks I had nothing at all. All in all, it's worth a try!

Love this product! I 'liked' this when I 1st tried it with the smoothing lotion when I 1st BC'd. This was in the middle of summer humidity and the combo made my hair a little too sticky & puffy in the highest of dewpoints. But once they dipped under 50 degress, this is combo is now my go to WNG combo. And I can put CIAB on top of anything!! I get Moist, frizzy free, smooth shiny curls that are so moist, my med/dark brown hair is totally black!! So moist that it even does a good job at hiding my greys! BOUNS, I've discovered that it works with almost any product as only the best finisher ever! I wish it came in a bigger bottle. This stuff is the best a 'P junkie' can get!

I really CIAB. I put this on top of the smoothing lotion and/or curl queen. The results are gorgeous, shiny curls and spirals w/o the crunchies. IThe consistency is like a thin serum so it's very easy to get heavy handed with it. It only minimizes my frizz but that's just my hair and so i have to embrace the frizz. I can get 3 day hair with this. So yeah, its a keeper.

CIAB is one of my HG products. I love using it over Curl Junkie CoffeeCoco Curl Creme and get shiny, soft spirals with that combination. If you're trying this for the first time, be aware that it is very thin - it's not a thick, gel-like substance. It's much wetter than that. And it can have a tendency to foam/bubble a bit. But, it works beautifully; especially with CCCC, as I mentioned before.

For the record, my hair is: 3a/3b, fine, dense, low porosity, and low elasticity.

I would like to first say, I don't know what took me so long to try this product!! I love it!! It controls my frizz without adding a crunch affect. My hair is soft and my hair retains moisture. My hair doesn't feel dry or anthing. It also defines my curls and it doesn't make my curls shrink. The is something that I will keep around for a while.

I found this product to be very hit or miss for me. For the days it worked, it WORKED and really kept my waves frizz free and even had a little wave enhancement. The other days I felt like it did little and in the end just wasn't worth keeping around.

Love, love, love Curls in a Bottle! So far I've used it over KCKT with and w/o grapeseed oil and had excellent results! My 3c/4a curls are defined, shiny, bouncy , FRIZZ-free without crunch. This product allows me to have very nice 2nd day washNgo hair after sleeping in my Sue Measta Hood. I have officially found a replacement for KCCC, which was too finicky, sometimes crunchy and definitely flakey. I can't wait to try more Curl Junkie products!

I wanted to love this product b/c of the reviews but sadly, it didn't have enough weight or hold. I use the CJ BeautiCurls Leave-in Hair Conditioner and then CJ Curl Queen Hair Styling Gel and get better results. Curls were fluffy but not enough curl definition. It's in the back cabinet, if I run out of gel it will be a back-up but will not reorder.

For all but the highest frizz days, this is my go-to product. I love it! It defines, softens and shines up my curls, all without crunch or a long drying time. I am a big, big fan of Curl Junkie and I have tried just about everything. I especially like that so many of their products have no protein...my hair just hates protein. Try Curl Junkie!

This product does an amazing job at controling frizz. My best results are using it over (cheap) gel and also for third day hair I'll spritz with water and then add a little and my hair looks amazing. A little does go a long way.

This is a fabulous, unique product! I have never gotten results like this from anything else. I tried it first all by itself and got masses of soft, shiny curls. Absolutely no frizz! I also got 2nd day hair, but I think in windy weather I would need a curl cream or gel underneath and might use something like that on a regular basis just to have a little more definition. My hair is 3A (I think) but there are days I think it is 2C and in the back I think it is 3B! So I'm never completely sure but I am sure that CIAB is wonderful! Try it - you will love it for anti-frizz and soft, pretty curls.

I don't know why I took so long to try this. I guess since I had bad luck with Curl Queen, I wrote off other Curl Junkie stylers (though I love her conditioners). Also I somehow thought that nothing could top KCCC, even though I have a few issues with the thickness, the dry time, and the sticky/crunch, and the flaking. CIAB solves these issues, its thin enough that it spreads around easily, but not so thin it feels like water, forms a slight cast to control the curls while styling, but scrunches out extremely easily, and seems to have no flaking issues. I was also initially worried about the smell since CJ products can sometimes be over cloying, and I'm not a fan of the smell of oranges, but the scent was pretty mild, more of a orange and coconut scent, and it does not linger, in fact once my hair is dry I cannot smell it at all.. I have a lot of allergies, so I patch tested last night and didn't find it gave me any irritation. I think I found the product I've been looking for. (For some reason my hair type doesn't show up. I'm a 2b that can appear 3A in moderate to high humidity).

I have just recently discovered the magicalness of this product! When I first bought it I had NO clue how to use it. But when I figured out how to do a proper wash n go that's when I learned. I use this on top of a leave in and a gel. But after reading these reviews I may try this alone.

    I have a 3c/4a mixture of curls.

I use this as a finisher and have used both the KCCC and Curl Solutions Curl Keeper, but this is definitely my favorite. On top of that it smells delish! Will definitely repurchase

Was a disaster for me. However I tried it, I ended up with thin stringy curls, and it kind of looked like I had a curly mullet going, since I was growing out some unfortunately cut layers and this just accentuated it. It does add shine to be fair. But I don't want a mullet, even a shiny one.

I now love this stuff! I've changed my tune about CIAB since I first reviewed it in January 2010. I'm now CG, my hair is healthier, and I've had more time to experiment with this product. It's very easy to distribute and when I mix it with CCCC-Lite my hair is very defined, soft and has good hold. CIAB really cuts down on the frizz and makes your hair very shiny. However, it does work better in the high dews.

Love this stuff! I put this stuff in on soaking wet hair and diffuse and it gives me great curl definition. It's not sticky or crunchy, and leaves my hair super soft. My hair doesn't do very well with gels, it gets so hard and feels dry, this doesn't do that though :D
The only other product that can compete with this so far is FSG, but this has a stronger hold.

I alternate this product with the Curl Junkie Curl Queen and I may like this one better. I don't get as much hold but I still have a nice defined curl with plenty of shine. Also, the scent is not as powerful as the Curl Queen. The consistency is not as thick as the Curl Queen so that is why I alternate (for different looks and also what the weather is like). Good product, like all other CJ products!

This is the first curly solution that really works for my 3a hair. I put in KinkyCurly Knot Today leave-in conditioner, then rake and comb this through upside down, scrunch, and air dry. I get spiral curls with medium body that last almost all day. Minimal frizz. Usage: I use about 4 quarter-sized puddles and my hair is at the bottom of my shoulder-blades. The price is a little steep... It doesn't make great second day hair, unfortunately, so I'm giving it four curls.

LOVE it! I am a natural for just a month. I tried Jessicurl RR and CC and Bee Mine Butter and this one. The curl definition and hold and SHINE this one gives is awesome! I have hair for 3 heads and Curls in a Bottle gave me a 6-day hair this last time I used, with great volume control, no frizz and curl definition. I applied generously and every day in the morning a little bit after spritzing some water and a bit of Curl Assurance Smoothing Conditioner. Still experimenting, but loving at each try.

This is very similar to Curl Keeper. Curls in a bottle is wonderful! As the other's have said, it spreads very easily and mixes well with other products. I too use a generous amount, over leave in conditioner, pomade, and jojoba oil. This product gives me smooth, frizz free curls that last all day. I only give it 4 curls because it's not as good as Curl Keeper for keeping the frizz at bay for 2nd or 3rd day hair. Curl Keeper seems to do a better job with that one. I still like this product a lot!

This product is definitely not for my hair. I'm a 4b/c and it wasn't heavy enough on my hair to define my curls. I had two other products on it for weight and by mid day, my curls were dry looking. I gave the product to my mother and it worked great for her.

This is my favorite styling product from Curl Junkie (I've tried Aloe fix, Smoothing Jellie, & Coffee Cocoa Curl Creme) It gives my 3c curls nice clumping, my curls are flexible, not stiff & it gives amazing shine! It has a light & pleasant orange milkshake scent & it's very watery. It's perfect if you want to use it over or with another thicker product b/c it won't react & will blend nicely (which is what I originally purchased it for)But, after using it I realized that despite it's watery consistency it works very well in my thick, dense, curly-wavy, FRIZZY hair. I use a good amount to make my hair slick & it never flakes. The bottle will last long too.

Another great product from Curl Junkie. I think this will be good for my hair now that the humidity is going down. This reminds me of Kinky Curly Spiral Spritz. It gives good curl formation and doesn't weigh my hair down. I also love the Aloe Fix Gel. The more I use that the more I love it too. I am really happy with Curl Junkie. My hair has never looked so good. I have been getting compliments about my hair since I began using these products.

This is the best product I've tried in a long time. It gave my 3C hair bouncy, pretty curls where I usually just have waves. I use it right after co-washing on clean hair under my Kinky Curly leave-in conditioner and Kinky Curly jell. I finish by drying my hair with a diffuser and adding a little Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and some CD pommade. Wow! I have the best moisturized curls that last all day without any hint of frizziness. All of my friends have noticed a difference since I started using Curls in a Bottle.

This is a staple in my lineup not because it works well alone (not moisturizing enough for my thick coarse curls alone), but its fabulous and plays well over harder hold gels for shiny, bouncy, plump curls! CIAB can also be used as a frizz serum after applying your main styling agents and it works wonderfully.

I still have a little frizz, but I live in the mid south, and frizz is always an issue here. I am definitely a convert. I will continue to use the CJ products. Why does this product remind of Curls Gel-Les'c? It smells, behaves like and has the same consistency of the Curls Gel-Les'c... I haven't compared the ingredients though. Anyway, I like this product and it may someday replace my Gel-Les'C (once I've finished my huge 32oz bottle!) because I can get 12 oz of product (instead 8) for a lot less. Also similar to Curls, it works well with other products, which is a plus for me. Overall, nice, soft but firm hold.

A superb product. Didn't leave me crunchy--and I used a generous amount after using a rinse out condish and a leave in bit of CurlFix. I used it before using Gel. I raked it in then scrunched. I got beautifully defined and CLUMPED curls. The clumps and curls survived three days with great definition, even after I finger combed. The curls REFORMED easily, even reclumped. Amazing. I still got frizz, but I'm a frizzbomb. This product is better at defining and keeping my curls than CurlKeeper, but the curls are longer and less tight (in my longer hair parts). But it made up for that in great clump and definition.

CIAB is easy to distribute, but it made my hair very dry and frizzy. It seemed to make my curls longer too - more of a 2b than a 3a. I may try it again when there is more humidity in the air, but it definitely did not work for me during the winter.
