Love CHS Slip. After I get out of the shower, I blot my hair with a micro-fiber towel for about 5 min. Then I spray on some slip and comb my hair. Then I add Curl Keeper followed with some gel and blot again for about 20 min. Then dry my hair with a diffuser for about 80% dry and put some clips in for about 15 min. My hair looks great after that with shine, hold and volume. I have hair that is also colored, and the slip helps to preserve my color. Even when I have to color again after 8 weeks people ask me if I just colored my hair. So applaus to CHS

I thought this would be the answer to my troubles, but this product did not live up to my expectstions. No matter how much I sprayed it took forever to detangle. So I found some leave in conditioner and that worked better.
I will not buy this nor recommend.

CHS Slip is one of my must have products (along with CHS Curl Keeper). After I get out of the shower, I blot my hair with a micro-fiber towel, spray on some slip, then add some Curl Keeper, and wait about 45 seconds for the slip to do its thing. I use the wait time to put toner on my face, and then start to untangle my hair. First I use my fingers or a shower comb, and then a come with closer teeth. I then blot again, this time with paper towels, while pushing the curl back into place. After that, I use my leave on conditioner and gel. I have hair that is also colored, and the slip helps to preserve my color.

I had high hopes for SLIP but I wasn't impressed. I did much better by pre-pooing with coconut oil. I used SLIP right after I rinsed out my henna when my hair is the least tangley. I waited longer than the 30 secs recommended and used almost half a bottle to make sure my hair was saturated. It was still really hard to get the comb through my hair. The next week I used a different conditioner and the results weren't any better. I tried to re-purpose it by using it as a refreshener but it made my hair revert and destroyed all the work I had put in on wash day. I'll be letting SLIP slip away unless someone can recommend any helpful tips.I still have some left .

Not a bad detangler! It was easy to comb through the knots and tangles and didn't require much product.

The name says it all. It gives excellent slip (after 30 seconds) and detangles great. I don't use too much of this though because it does have protein in it and I am sensitive to some proteins. However, this does work well with my hair.

Made my hair way more tangled than without it. Maybe I didn't wait 30 seconds. I'll try again when I have time to wash out in case it still doesn't work. Maybe my hair just doesn't like it.

I really like this product. I used it after I shampooed and conditioned last weekend and it left my hair completely manageable. Which a few weeks ago I couldnt even come close to saying. I am very satisfied with this product.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff! I spray it all over my wet hair and wait 30 seconds, then take my comb and my hair "slips" right through! Even when I forget to detangle my hair in the shower it works great!

I can't get rid of my frizz and tangles completely, but I think it's pretty ok. Though, as I said, It could be better.

I used this as a curl re-activator when I couldn't find anything else in my stash. It worked great! It controlled my halo of frizz, and really rejuvenated my curls.

A favorite for my daughter's long, fine curls, which tangle easily. This painlessly got the knots out.

I really like the Slip Detangler. It's a very unique product in that it actually takes a few seconds to kick in. The instructions say to spray it on and then wait 30 seconds before you begin to detangle... you really must do this. Because this detangler is silicone free, it appears to use a low pH in order to do the detangling; hence, it takes a moment for it to work. This does not substitute for a leave-in conditioner (I actually e-mailed Jonathon this very question) and if you have dry ends, you'll still need to use the CHS Leave-In.

the slip detangler is just like the silk leave-in..but a "lighter" version (even though the leave-in is not heavy at all.) my friend's mom(she's a hair stylist) recommended it for me. it works WELL with Curl Keeper. (never tried it on its own)i guess this product is good for kids, because it's a lot lighter than all the other products, and it comes in a spray nozzle, so it's easy to use too.=)
