I do not have dandruff or flakes, but for some reason my scalp has been very itchy the last few weeks. It is either from using a bonnet dryer or a wheat allergy (been trying new products out). I tried olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, hand lotions, and this product. The hand lotions helped but contain dimethicone (I try to avoid silicones in my hair). The castor oil did not seem to provide any relief from the itching. The olive oil and coconut oil did help soothe my scalp as did this product. The advantage this product has is that it is a lighter feeling formula so it does not weigh down my baby fine hair or make it look "greasy" like a lot of oils can. Also, I am hoping the rosemary, sage and peppermint will stimulate some growth for me (only been using a few days so cannot attest to that yet). I rub it into my scalp in the evening and leave it in until I wash my hair again. I also rub the remainder into my elbows and cuticles and it helps them feel really soft. It is not completely "dry" but it does absorb pretty quickly. Also, I was a little nervous that the scent would be strong because some of the ingredients are powerful, but it is not at all too intense or overpowering. There is a mild cool tingle from the peppermint and I can smell the mint but it is very soft and does not really linger. I definitely recommend this product.

I love it. I usually spray it on my scalp a few times a week then massage it in. It truly is amazing for itchy scalps. It has a nice subtle peppermint scent to it. A staple product for me now.

GREAT scalp treatment. My 13 year old son gets terrible dry scalp in the winter no matter how he washes. This works wonders. Once a week, before he shampoos, we put this on for about 20 minutes. Keeps his scalp feeling great!
