Use as a leave-in cream for moisture and healthy hair maintenance—It will hydrate your lovely coils and locs and leave them healthy and well-nourished.  Our Tucuma Butter Moisture Whip has a very light buttery aloe scent. 

HOW DOES THIS WORK? We created this delectable whipped butter using Brazilian tucuma butter for its wonderful moisturizing and emollient benefits.

Ingredients

Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Vegetable Glycerin, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Distilled Water, Organic Jojoba Oil, Astrocaryum (Tucuma Fruit) Seed Butter, Avocado Oil, Kalahari Melon Seed Oil, Organic Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Cetyl Alcohol, Organic Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E, Rice Bran Oil, and a potassium sorbate and fragrance.

Styling Tips

• Apply just a small amount throughout wet or dry hair for healthy conditioning and moisture.
• Use to moisturize and condition natural hair.
• Use as needed to naturally moisten dry curls and waves.
• Use as an all-over body moisturizer.

  This is stuff is nice and thick! I used it to retwist on an old twist out. It spread easily and left my hair soft and smelling like a brown sugar, vanilla butter. Didn't notice much shine but the hold and definition the next day was great!

  I big chopped on 1/4/12 and I have used this whip for my wash n gos being that I have a twa. I conditioned my hair with Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose and immediately applied the butter while my hair was sopping wet. I evenly distributed the butter into my hair and then let it air dry. This butter is definitely in my holy grail of products. This left my tightly coiled hair very defined and very silky to the touch. Doesn't leave that weird white residue in my hair and it smells lovely. Will repurchase.

  I just recently ordered this product and let me say it's true that your hair is moisturized without ANY greasy feeling. I looked at the reviews and a little went along way. This passed Monday, I co-washed, deep treated, then on medium sized sections of damp hair used KKNT leave-in, the DB Tucuma moisture whip and the DB Coconut pomade. My hair is still moisturized, and yes i use dime sized amount of the DB daily leave-in in the mornings, twist out was well defined and is still looking good. If you're considering it, get it you WON'T be sorry

  This is a really great butter, moisturizes and absorbs completely and is lightweight. I came to reup on my original purchase which was a pleasant surprise. I had big plans to make this my winter staple for maintenance on retwist only to find its not avail here or at the darcy's site.

  Not sure why nobody has reviewed this product yet. I really liked this product as a moisturizer. It works great on wet and dry hair. Didn't leave a residue. I gave it. 4 curls because of the smell,kinda earthy and the size, wish it was more. A little goes a long way.
