The only thing I liked about this was the smell. It is very heavy and didn't do much to define my curls. My hair was left stringy, dull and weighed down. I couldn't justify the results with the price. If I'm going to spend this much, I may as well get something that actually works, like KCCC.

I really really wanted to like this product. I loved designer essentials before i went natural and was super excited when they did a natural line. I like the shampoo and conditioner, but this cream gel left my hair feeling like something a horse should eat for breakfast. at first i thought I'd used too much because it flaked off later in the day, but i tried it again and the same thing happened. Maybe my finicky hair just doesnt like DOES SMELL GREAT THOUGH!

I have a temp fade twa, big chopped. My hair is very short, maybe 1/4 of an inch on top and coiled. This defined my hair great! I did the palm roll to seperate and define my curls and after it was dry used about 4 drops of oil to work over the curls to just lift them slightly and make them appear not as seperated and 'scalpy' looking. would buy this again, especially if I'm keeping my coils short.

I like it. It holds my curls great. I have photo's on my page. I will admit it though I use a silk serum on top to add extra sheen and fly-away's. I recently cut all my processed hair off and this has been holding well. I also have gotten second day hair. I do spritz with water and add a little on the top but it the past I always had to shampoo. Second day was brutal for me.

It defines my curls, but won't purchase again. Not enough sheen for me and does not control my frizz.

Not sure why they call it lightweight, this stuff is heavy. I like it though... a lot. It holds moisture in my hair. I use a lot for my twists and I don't have to put other products on it for a couple of days. It's not greasy once your hair is dry. It smells like cake batter, so you might have bees following you, but in the winter, that shouldn't be to much of an issue.
