I do own two other edge control products besides this one, but this one actually happens to be my favorite. I use it for slicking down my baby hairs while wearing my hair down curly. When I want to wear my hair in a bun, I will use it to make my edges and nape look super sleek. I have a mix of fine and medium textured naturally curly hair, so I only need to use a very, very small amount and it will keep the hairs that I apply it to in place all day. It provides a true hold that you can really feel. It doesn't have a harsh scent to it at all. As, the scent that it has is an okay one and it doesn't bother my sinuses or give me a headache either. The only slight con is that you don't get that much for the price. However, I am willing to deal with such due to how well it works.

This product did not hold my natural edges down for more than an hour or two.

I'm usually not an edge slicker, but I enjoyed trying out this product. That's why I voted for it to win's Editors Choice this year. Most edge tamers just turn greasy in 5 minutes. This actually slicked my hair back on wet or dry hair and it STAYED. It's pricy, but if you think about how much you actually need for your edges, it's not that bad.
