    It's moisturizing i can't deny that , i wouldn't call it the best, it's ok . I don't like the smell though , but it doesn't last.

This deep conditioner is PERFECT for my 4a/b hair. I thought I would never deep condition again after shea moisture's deep conditioner left me high and dry but this one has restored my faith. I use it after a clarifying shampoo and leave it in for only 15 minutes in the shower and it makes my curls pop like no other and my hair is super moisturized and soft. Not to mention the price is great, a little goes such a long way and the company is owned by a young black woman :). Perfect product!

When I first used this DC, I did not like it. I put it in my hair and put on a plastic cap and after I washed it out, my hair felt dry. But, the other day I was in desperate need of a trim and decide to bring this DC to the hair salon with me. OMG....my hair is beautiful. The hair dresser put it in my hair and I sat under the dryer for about 10 minutes. My hair is silky soft. Love this....part of my HG.

This is a very good deep conditioner. I have very dry, Hi-PO hair. I use this conditioner once a week, typically sleep on it and then rinse out. I can see a big difference in my hair. Great price.

I received a free sample of this deep conditioner with my last order. I used it yesterday. WOW is all I can say! I have extremely thick, long, 3a-3c on the dry side hair. On day two my hair still had great slip, no knots and my hair is ALWAYS tangled at the nape. I also used Eden's Coconut Shea Leave-In Conditioner. Love this!! Am ordering today!!

I like the consistency of it. I felt like I used a lot, but when I looked back in the jar, I hardly put a dent in it. It went on smooth and made my hair feel better instantly. I'm glad I found a good deep conditioner that didn't hurt my pockets.

I bought this from Sally's yesterday along with the Aphogee 2 min. Keratin Reconstructor because my strands are suffering from major heat damage. I applied this after using the Aphogee and sat under a hooded dryer for 30 min, rinsed it out and then styled my hair. This stuff did a great job of making my hair feel moisturized and look shiny. I guess i should really be able to see the results tomorrow once my hair dries.

My hair LOVES this DC!! I applied it after co washing the the Coconut Co wash, covered my head with a plastic shower cap and plastic bag, sat under the dryer for 15min, THEN instead of rinsing it out, I started cooking dinner and left it in for TWO HOURS!! I can't sing its praises enough because my hair was SOFT SOFT SOFT!!!! And smelled WONDERFUL!!!! This is now my GO TO DC and a MUST HAVE product!! As stated by previous reviews, "A little does go a long way!!"

This conditioner is very moisturizing and nourishing to the hair. The ingredients are great. When first opening the container the smell is something foreign and when applying it to the hair it lingers a bit. But I let it process under my plastic cap for 30 minutes to an hour and wash it out, my hair becomes soft, shiny, full of life. It is great for the price and ingredients.

This dc is AMAZING...only when it's used with heat. When I din't, I did not really see any dramatic softness compared to when I use it with heat. Overall, I would buy it again since it is the only product that gets my edges soft enough to be laid down. By the way, I am a mixture of 3c, 4a, 4b, and my edges are 4c.

This DC works well for my dry, parched curls (especially in the summertime when the sun is always OUT and frying my hair up!)... It's thick, the scent isn't overpowering, and it does a great job of hydrating/moisturizing my hair in about 20 min or less.

I have been using THE SAME CONTAINER for about a year now, and I usually use gobs on gobs of conditioner. If that doesn't scream "a little goes a long way," then I don't know what does. This deep conditioner is a steal! At first, the scent was a bit of a shock to the nose, but it grew on me. It's customizable- it plays well with additional ingredients- so you can add scent or extra moisturizing ingredients or whatever you want. For me, it has decent slip and great moisture. Until/unless there's a deep conditioner out there that can top this one, I'm keeping it in my arsenal. My hair is... 3c-4b, and highly porous.

It works really well at deep conditioning my bleached hair, but it smells TERRIBLE. It's not bad, but after using this, I've decided prefer Briogeo's Don't Despair - Repair! conditioner which smells better and is much thicker.

I only give this 4 stars for the smell and it only works on my hair with heat. It is a really good conditioner and makes my hair silky soft. I have low porosity hair so for that reason, this only sits on my hair unless I use heat.

I purchased this conditioner because of the natural ingredients. The consistency is very good. I am very heavy handed. I applied a lot when I used it and barley made a dent in it. The application was defiantly a lot different than that of a conditioner packed with cones. I doesn't have as much slip. I detangled my hair then sat under my hood dryer for 30 minutes. When I washed it out my 3b/c hair was very moisturized, easy to detangle, and shiny! I took a star off because my hair wasn't as soft as I like it to be after a fresh wash and it was a bit harder to detangle before washing it out.

I never really didn't know what to expect with this deep conditioner because of the texture. I sectioned my hair and spread a generous amount in each. Left it under a shower cap for about 30 mins (maybe a little more) once I rinsed it out my hair was instantly soft easy to comb through. I am transitioning right now so detaining is everything but as i was styling my hair with a braid out it stayed soft from beginning to end. The first time I tried it I had washed my hair earlier in the week so I co washed it and then used the deep conditioner so I am interested to see how it works when i put this in my regular wash routine. I would say I have 3c/4a curls.

I have 3c/4a hair. I like this deep conditioner alot. It has a thick, yet creamy consistency that glides okay on the hair. The smell, to me, is divine. It has a hint of tea tree smell, which is characteristically spicy and earthy. But also has a subtle floral scent. The combination of the two may be strange at first, but eventually I grew to love the light, pleasant smell. I distributed this onto my hair after I had washed my hair, and placed it under a plastic cap and heat for about 20 minutes. It was okay to finger detangle, (although I generally don't have an issue with detangling in general). And my hair felt good after I rinsed it out. My curls popped a little more. I didn't have that "wow" factor just yet. However, it's AFTER my hair dried that the magic happened. I used some of Eden BodyWorks' Coconut Shea leave in conditioner and sealed all the moisture with light coconut/grapeseed oil. I twisted my hair and air dried for a few hours, and sat under a hooded drier for the last 40 minutes. Took down my twists and: Oh. My. Lord. My hair was SO SOFT!!! I just felt that my hair had alot more moisture locked and penetrated in the strands. Very soft and shiny. I am only giving it 4 stars because I wish that wow factor came sooner in the shower and wish it had better slip, but I definitely will repurchase this because of how light and fluffy my hair feels now :)

I love how thick this conditioner is. Since it is so thick you really don't need a lot, I've used it 5 or 6 times now and I just mastered the perfect amount for me. I've used it with heat and without heat, on wet and dry hair. I find it works better when I use it with heat on wet hair. My hair feels so soft after using this too! As I've mentioned before I've used this 5 or 6 times and I've made a very small dent in the tub, maybe 1/4 or less. I love the packaging because it is such a large tub that this can last me a very long time! 16 oz for $9 you can't beat this!
I have high density, low-high porosity, and fine- medium strands

I have 4c hair. The conditioner feels a lot like a reconstructor. Did not easily glide onto my strands, the smell is not great, and it's kinda thick. After I deep conditioned with this and rinsed out, I followed it up with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner which I actually treat as a leave in conditioner.

This conditioner has no slip at all. It's too thick and doesn't have a good smell. I have to add oils and coconut milk to thin it out . I can not detangle with this conditioner.

    Transitioning, protein sensitive, low porosity
Strong smell but ok consistency. It did not detangle but did make my natural hair soft. My relaxed hair was ok. Liked the fact that you can get samples from homesite with free shipping. Will try again when I am fully natural.

I heart this product...quickly becoming a fan. I try to normally not leave a review for something until I've used it for a month or finished the product...well....the container is huge, and since I am a self proclaimed product junkie, I have a few products in rotation, so there is no way this is going anywhere anytime soon. Love the price! I've used this product as a pre poo, deep condish and in conjunction with my holy grail, moisturizing dc by curl junkie (curl rehab) and all times it performed lovely! I've used it with and without heat and since I'm low porosity I get the best results from products when I use heat. I've also combined this with honey and/or castor oil for even more impact, or as a mini deep treatment in between washes, if I need it, and I'm never disappointed. 16oz for $10... Def using to the last drop and perhaps restocking!

I have a question. If a product says it's Sulfate Free and it has Behentrimonium Methosulfate in it, wouldn't it not be sulfate free??? I loved this conditioner in my hair , t was so soft and I actually don't mind the smell but when I washed it out after 30 mins it felt so weird like I just washed my hair with a shampoo containing sulfate. I'm defiantly not re-buying this and I don't think I even want to finish it.

This deep conditioner has a really strange texture. You have to get it wet in order for it to actually penetrate your hair instead of sitting on top of it. I'm not a fan of how it smells (my mom said it smelled like car wax). However, I love what it does to my hair. I usually put on a shower cap and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it leaves my hair so soft. I use it once a week and it's a large jar, so it'll last pretty long. I've gotten used to the smell (which doesn't linger after you rinse it out), so I'll be sticking with this deep conditioner for a while.

Due to this extremely cold temperatures in NY for many weeks now, my hair started suffering and I was having the hardest time keeping moisture locked in, even after I was using my go to deep conditioner. I came across the product because I was searching for a silicone free, protein free deep conditioner that was around $10. I'm so happy I purchased this product!

On clean, 90% dry hair, I applied this conditioner and did an overnight deep treatment. The consistency of this product is thick but glided easily on my hair. I was heavy handed applying this product and I barely made a dent in the tub. When I woke up and rinsed out the following morning, I instantly felt hydration in my hair that it had been longing for!! This stuff is the business!! For a 16 0z container for $10, it lived up to the reviews!!

There are two downsides: I have not found this product locally yet so for now, I'll have to purchase through CurlMart when they have free shipping days. Finally, the scent of this product is odd. The scent is not fruity, floral, or citruses. It almost smells like old school hair grease, but thankfully is does not linger:)

Hair statistics: Tightly coiled, fine and medium strands throughout, high density, low porosity
This deep conditioner left my hair feeling SUPER soft (but not overly soft) and moisturized! I was kind of shocked that I was actually touching my hair after I rinsed it out because I have been having issues retaining moisture this winter. AND I have low porosity hair, which means it's kind of hard to actually get my moisture into my hair . This DC did the job! I have only used it once but so far so good!
How I used it: (1) washed my hair with a sulfate-free shampoo, (2) but the a few scoops of the conditioner in a microwave safe bowl and warmed it in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds, (3) added the deep conditioner in about 6 sections (I have thick hair), (4) applied 2 processing cap to my hair, (5) and sat under my hooded dryer for about 35-40 minutes. I let my hair "cool off" for approximately 15 minutes before removing the processing caps and proceeded to rinse the DC out of my hair with cool water.
Overall I really like this DC so far. I also like the fact that this can also be found at stores in my area, so that if/when necessary I can purchase this locally!

This didn't work for me. Used it twice to give it a fair chance. Yes, I did have curl definition, but my hair did not feel as soft and manageable as it has with other products. My biggest complaint: no slip and that puts added stress on my hair when detangling. Next time, I'm going to mix this with a condish with slip and some oils. Been in search for the "perfect" DC (cost effective w/ good results) since mixed silk got discontinued.

This deep conditioner is amazing. It is thick, but that's what I expect of a deep conditioner. I easily worked it in my hair and my hair came out moisturized and very happy. The only thing I don't care for is the smell. I even added a little lavender essential oil, but it didn't help with the smell much. Overall, I am happy and will use this as a deep conditioner as needed.

This product is decent, but I don't love it. It's extremely thick; I had a hard time spreading it throughout my hair, I ended up using a ton of product b/c it was hard to gauge how much I needed because it didn't move! It had a butter kind of consistency if you can imagine spreading slightly chilled butter all over your curly head...The product smelled like Lemon Pledge with flowers...not the best. It was hard to rinse out, and the smell lingered a little. But it still gets three stars for a decent performance. My hair felt soft and moist enough!

I have been searching for a great DP for quite some time. I have followed the hype and been disappointed. I bought a few other Eden products at Sally's recently and was pleased, however the store did not carry the DP. So I figured what the heck. I. Love. this. DP! I agree that it doesn't give a great slip, but I finger detangle with coconut oil first so I did not need a lot of slip. The "strong" smell goes away. I put it on after washing with As I Am cleansing cream and conditioning with the Edens Peppermint conditioner and Amala Oil. I kept the it in for 35 minutes under my heat cap and my hair is super moisturized today!

I received a sample of this in my July Curlkit and decided to give it a try today after playing 18 holes of golf and baking in the sun for 6+ hours. I was little skeptical because it does not have good slip when applying. I left it on for about 45 minutes using a heating cap and was pleasantly surprised at how soft my hair was and how my curls were popping (I think I'm a 3C/4A? and also color-treated). I think it is a great deep conditioner and the price is very reasonable. I'm still partial to Shea Moisture's Deep Treatment Masque but this one is definitely a contender!

This really made my hair easy to manage and style that first day when I used it, and I am not 100% sure if it was this deep conditioner, but my hair was moisturized throughout the whole week. The first time I tried this deep conditioner I didn't leave it on for the 30 minutes that it recommend, that was a mistake. After that I started adding honey and various oils to the product and that worked out really well, along with doing a apple cider vinegar and then using it plainly. It works well with hard water and the softness goes on for a few days or so. I would purchase this product again and will try other products from this brand. I have 4a hair.

My hair hated it. This DC has no slip. I wanted to love it for the price, but my hair rejected it. My hair is spoiled, Curl Junkie Curl Rehab is the only DC I use now.

The only reason why I didn't give this a five star is because of the smell. However, if you looking for a deep conditioner that is moisturizing, without alot of the bad products, but not that natural with a good price this is it!! I love this deep conditioner. It may just have to be a staple, because of the price. I highly recommend this deep conditioner.

I used this with the hair therapy wrap and it felt so luxurious! My 2c waves feel silkier and my dry ends are so much smoother. Love the ingredients - coconut, jojoba, tea tree oil and more! - it's like an at-home recipe without any of the work.

I've been using this for several months now and I really love it as a leave in conditioner using the curly girl method. It doesn't have a strong scent and plays well with the As I Am coiling jelly. It's not a very good deep conditioner, though.

This conditioner isn't very moisturizing when used as a deep conditioner, for that purpose it gets 3 stars. However, it does make an excellent leave in conditioner before I apply as i am coiling jelly. It's a heavier consistency than the revitalizing conditioner and the packaging is easier to deal with. I think this will be my leave in on choice in the winter.

I found this product at WalMart and decided I had to try it because it has good ingredients and you get a lot a product for an already inexpensive price. I finally tried it since I now have a heat wrap. It has done wonders for my type 4 hair; it stretched my hair, hydrated my curls, and I had so much less breakage. I love this conditioner and highly recommend it.

The only thing I don't like about this product is the smell, but I don't mind and will be buying this product again because it does wonders for my hair and makes it feel so soft. It's also at a reasonable price and provides a lot of product in one jar, which is a MAJOR plus for a cheap skate like me.

I was a bit nervous trying some of the products but was so happy with this deep conditioner!! I washed my 3abc hair and then put the conditioner in and then put a plastic wrap around/over it all and slept with it. It rinsed out beautifully the next morning and left my hair shiny, soft, stronger and more manageable than I've had in a VERY LONG time! My hair is natural blonde and I do do some high/low lights about 2-3 times per year and the summer will tend to dry it out further. The scent was light and very nice, the price was very good considering the quality of the product....LOVE IT!

You can definitely detect the smell of tea tree oil, and the formula is thick, rich, and creamy. I fully coated my tresses with the rich concoction and let it penetrate my strands for a full 20 minutes. After I let it sit, I was able to finger detangle my hair easily and my hair felt like the smoothest silk. This was definitely my favorite product from the line.

The monoi scent is spot on in this deep conditioner, which I loved. A lot of brands are trying to do the monoi thing, but have fallen short. I really liked this DC for my waves. My hair felt very moisturized and was easily detangled. I think it's a good occasional DC to swap out with some of my other faves.

I really liked this deep conditioner, it gave me wonderful slip when i washed it out, I actual detangled with my fingers, that's how much softness it gave my hair. I defenitley give it 4 stars. It was really good.

Overall, this conditioner is ok. My hair felt nicely moisturized once I rinsed it out. The scent of it is not overwhelming, and the consistency is really thick. My only complaint is that there is just not enough slip in it for me, so I'm not sure if I would purchase it again.

This DC is super thick and the scent is very...sharp. In short, I felt a little like I was applying a relaxer :) I think it might be a good dc if used apart from the shampoo. I'm not really impressed with it because my hair still felt pretty dry and stripped from the shampoo in this line, which means that for my hair it may not be a sufficient DC treatment.
