Wasnt sure if I wanted to rate this product a 3 or 4 so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Only reason I say this is because of the smell. It has a weird/funny scent when you use it. Other than that, I really like the product. It makes my curls pop beautifully and keeps my hair soft and moisturized after using it (I seal my hair with coconut oil after I put this on). It also provides me slip so my hair is easily detangled when I use this. Besides that weird smell, great product. :-)

I loved this leave in at first... In the winter it did wonders for my hair. Then spring came and it could not withstand Florida's humid weather. 30 minutes after untwisting my nice defined look would turn into a frizzy mess.

I bought this leave in a few weeks ago and i enjoyed it at first, but over time of using it I noticed that it started to smell funny. I had to stop using it because the smell was so bad, I don't know if I got a bad batch or if it went bad over time.

I love that this glides through my wet hair but it doesn't provide much moisture. It also has a strange scent.

Love how it feels in my hair!

I have to agree with the user who said their hair felt straw-like. I have used it once as a leave-in on freshly washed naked hair, and once as a moisturizer on second-day hair, and honestly I do not feel inspired to continue using it. I will have to tho, because I got the full size bottle and I am not going to throw it away. I have to find a way to mix it with something to make it more moisturizing and less gum-like. The texture is not creamy, it is sort of gummy to me. Smells good. Doesn't have much slip, however it defines well the spirals. I guess this corresponds with what I felt about the gumminess. The moisture factor I got from this product was non-existant and I felt disappointed, although my curls looked full and round. On the touch my hair was dry and hard both times. As a moisturizer, I felt the hardness immediately. Used as a leave-in, it got hard as it dried. I am not sure what to add to soften this product and to make it creamier. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I am giving it 3 stars because of the nice spiral shape it gave my hair. I would say this is more of a styling product than a leave in on naked hair. It should be preceded by a moisturizing leave in or hair milk, and also it should not be used copiously.

My hair is 3b/ color treated recently and now more porous. I really like this product directly on clean wet hair then small amount of oil on top then gel. My hair was left soft and touchable.

I'm a product junkie who's been through a billion products. This leave in is the best! Pair this with the curl defining cream by the same brand and you will have the best twistout in life! My hair stays moisturized for days. It has great hold and shine. No gel need when using this because it gives such great definition! Highly recommend for all type 4 hair types!

I did a lot of research and ordered 3 different types of Leave-in Conditioner to test on my hair, including "Kinky-Curly Knot Today" and "Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia". My hair is mostly 3C and low porosity, and this leave-in worked the BEST hands down. This is the one I will continue to buy. Great slip and hair feels soft. And the softness is important because with the "Knot Today", I felt slip but no softness, so it was like sliding my hands on plastic. Great product, lasts long AND it's the cheapest of the 3. Definitely repurchasing.

No complaints. I just love. Now what works is Eden Body Works Leave-In. Moisturizes, curl defines, with slip. I just love this for life. The Eden Body Works Curl Defining Creme not so much. It dries my hair out and it sits white on my hair with no definition. Maybe I just use it wrong? Btw I'm 4A type.

One of my favorite leave-ins. It is very moisturizing and does a good job at defining your curls. It also smells nice.

This is a very moisturizing leave in and I will definitely be repurchasing as well as trying more from the brand!!

While this conditioner smells great, it only controls my frizz for half the day and is thinner than I would like. It is does work better than others for adding on top of other products on the second day.

I have thick and dry 4a hair. My staple has been Giovanni Direct Leave in for at least a year. Well, this just bumped Giovanni out the top spot. After applying this to my hair, the comb slid right through it and it left my hair soft and fluffy. No snags, no snapping ends, and no ssk. Absolutely amazing!!! My new staple

i bought 5, yes FIVE, of this here on CM.
i was so hooked on the raves and price but didnt deliver
Cons: i dont even think shea is on the top 5 -_- , over hyped, smell is a little fake coconutty
pros: this has tons of slip and can be watered down for the same moisturizing effect
GREAT for roller set or rod as it REALLY smooths the hair and keeps it hydrated and keeps the style soooooo sleek (its a must try!)
My Issue with this: the leave in evaporates so quickly, yea i could apply an oil or butter on top but i dont do oils and my shea butter is on occasion. I expect my moisturizer to stay put! and yes it may be a "high" stsandard but not impossible and necessary to keep my routine simple
Best use: in my experience adding this to a spray bottle with water and a little oil makes it really great to hydrate and add some slip to the hair. then i had my moisturizer and then styler, perfect hydrated hair. For this I'll give it 5 stars because it will last so long if used for this purpose.
However as a moisturizer its eh. not bad at all but definitely not up to par with my expectations

I might be wrong about this but I suspect this product as the culprit of the current straw-like state of my hair. I'm a Wash 'N Go gal and I thought this would be better alternative to hair gel. When I first started using this product I loved it since it felt soft on my hair and kept my coils ok throughout the day. It became a staple. Eventually my hair started to feel dry all the time even though my regime still the same with the occasional deep conditioning. At this point, my hair is in its worst state since I went natural.
I suspect protein overload and I will try my hair as if this is the problem to see if there's any improvement. I don't even know if that's possible with this product. If you're going to use this leave-in keep a vigilant eye on the state of your hair.

Not sure of what this conditioner is actually supposed to do for my hair. It didn't harm it in anyway but I didn't experience any benefits either. I'm going to use it up but I probably won't repurchase.
Posted by CurlyNeshia (Type 3b) on 09/03/2014
For me this product didn't work very well . I feel that hair comes out better when I use leave-in conditioners that are a thicker substance . Anyone that uses this product knows it is very " liquidy " . Besides that it's a great product to use !
Posted by Jolie (Type 3c) on 08/28/2014
I love this leave in. It smells great and moisturizes my hair very well.
I will order this again and again.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT LINE!! I use this as my daily refresher, and as the "L&C in my LCO" method. I stock up whenever I find it on sale!! I use it with the Pudding Souffle when styling as well and my hair is left soft, moisturized and smells WONDERFUL!!
Posted by alwayscurlyn (Type 3a) on 07/21/2014
I wanted to like this product because of all the spectacular reviews and the wonderful ingredients that this product has but it merely just didn't do much for my hair. It just sat there, did not make my hair moisturized, and made my hair feel gunky...I have low porosity 3b hair
Posted by Briona95 (Type 3b) on 07/17/2014
I just recently purchased this stuff. I've heard all positive things about it but my hair is not a fan :/ It leaves my hair slimy and gooey. I have yet to find a product that compliments this leave in, every product I apply to my hair after this leave in seems to cause little white balls in my hair. I'm probably not using it right, I'll continue you to work with it though. It smells amazing lol.
Posted by Dee (Type 4b) on 07/17/2014
It makes my hair really stringy and hard. Maybe because of the glycerine. It is summer now, so I will leave this stuff on the shelf untill wintertime has arrived and try it again. For now, it's a no no.
Posted by Trennecia_H (Type 3b) on 07/11/2014
This stuff is a God send! It keeps my hair moisturized all day! I also use it underneath my CURLS pomade for extra moisture and hold on my edges! Works like a dream! I recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a leave-in that can also be a styler! Love it and will definitely be purchasing it again!

When I used this product at first it made my hair soft and moisturized and I thought i'd found my staple leave in, but after a week it made my hair hard and the moisture only lasts briefly. I will not repurchase again I think it is the aloe vera juice that makes my hair hard.
Posted by istaltari (Type 2c) on 07/07/2014
Did not like this product at all! I was using it as a leave-in conditioner but it left my hair underneath and on top at the scalp clumpy and greasy. It felt gross to the touch and I was almost ashamed to wear my hair like that in public. I'm not sure if I just wasn't using it right, but I won't try it again.
Posted by yasmeen4301 (Type 3c) on 07/07/2014
I have found that this product works well on second day hair but not on freshly washed hair. It's o.k. for its price.
Posted by PaulaLawrence9 (Type 4a) on 06/28/2014
This leave-in is so slippery and the price is great. What I also love is that it doesn't make me sneeze, it is lightly scented in my opinion. I will buy it again.
Posted by Mlouis11 (Type 4a) on 06/09/2014
I really wanted to like this product. I am a big fan of KCKT and wanted to try something new. Maybe I haven't mastered how to use it but it just doesn't work with my 3C/4A hair. I've used it to layer for twist out and my hair always comes out stringy and frizzy in my 4A area. I've tried it with JC Nourish and Shine but have also used it with the Eden's Curling Cream. I give it 2 stars because I haven't completely given up on it but I will go back to my tried and true Kinky Curly Knot Today.

I love this leave in. I have 3b hair and it is just fine for me. The best I have had and I will continue to use this. It is a staple for me.

Great leave-in conditioner. After my hair went through a transitioning period and decided it didn't like my current conditioner, I decided to try this leave in. It smells amazing and doesn't leave any white speckles once its dry.
Posted by veronicafree1 (Type Unknown) on 05/14/2014
This leave-in is one of the best I have used. It leaves my 4C(?) hair easy to comb through.
Posted by Amy (Type 4c) on 05/09/2014
Pros: VERY moisturizing, but only when i added about 20-30% of castor and jojoba oil to the mix, so the moisture stays in throughout the whole day(even till the next day if you wear protective styles like twists or braids). Because my hair is SO thick and very curly i need more oils/moisture for my hair staff and this product helps that.
Cons: On it's on, it is not enough to moisturize my thick 4c hair. So when buying this product, note that it WILL moisturize your hair, but it will become dry throughout the day. So it's best to use your fav oils as a sealant on top of this product.

I love this product so much. It leaves my hair soft, the product is light, and it smells wonderful. I will defiantly be purchasing more EDEN products.
Posted by janellek608 (Type 3b) on 02/23/2014
I really like this stuff. I don't have to use a lot which is surprising because my hair is really thick. Also, it's light enough that I can use it underneath other products.
Posted by dlevroney (Type 3b) on 02/18/2014
There is something about this leave in that is just luxurious. Its thick but not to heavy... the smell is divine. Plenty of slip and full of great ingredients. For the price it definitely beats some others leave in for the same size. On 4 stars because while great on my hair.. not great on my daughter 4a hair.
Posted by cscamsam (Type 4a) on 02/03/2014
Love this product....never used leave ins before, but now don't know how I ever went without it. Great slip, nice smell, thick consistency which I love and need for my thick curly hair. This product works excellent with the curl creme for twist outs. My hair is soft soft soft! Its also shiny. It stays that way for 4-5 days without having to reapply any more product. FANTASTIC

This is the best leave-in conditioner I have ever come across. I can literally do my wash-n-go with the Eden BodyWorks Cowasha and this leave-in ALONE. My hair feels super soft after using this and the scent isn't too strong at all. This will always be a staple for me. NO other leave-in has compared. The BEST product in the collection.

I love using this product. It keeps my hair moisturized all day after I wash my hair.

My hair really liked this product. It had great slip and made my curls pop. The reason i would not purchase it again is that it leaves this weird film on the hair. Every time i touch my hair i have this product on my hands. I would not purchase again. 3c and 4a

I have been using this for about a month now. I jumped on a Coconut Oil Challenge to see its effect on my hair. I must say, my hair really loves this! I've noticed more definition and there's a soft hold from my braids at night. Very moisturizing as well. I WOULD recommend this and use it again.

Best leave-in conditioner out there! I like products that have good slip and this one def has slip! It completely saturates my thick 3b/3c hair and i dont have to use half the bottle each time. Leaves my hair soft and silky. I put this on everyday when im getting out of the shower and I dont have to put anything else in my hair thats how great this stuff works.
Posted by curlyblackAngel (Type 4a) on 08/17/2013
This is a Holy Grail product for me! Definitely the best product in the EDEN line. This conditioner helped me get 6 days of buttery-soft hair! Normally, I'm lucky to make it to day 3 without my hair drying out. Also, this product plays well with other moisturizers and stylers...when I use any twisting butter/styler atop this Leave-In Conditioner...it's like they just melt right into my hair. I run my fingers over it and no oily residue, whatsoever. Remarkable! I think it's all due to the Polyquats :( but hey, whatever works. Try it!!

Type 4 b-c hair:
I've used a fair amount of leave-in conditioners, and this probably one of the best ones I've used so far. Whether I apply this to wet, damp, or completely dry hair, this conditioner instantly moisturizes and provides slip for my hair. I love the light coconut scent (all of the new EDEN products do), and a little bit goes a long way - though it can be easy to add more just because it feels that great on my hair. I mean as I applied AND detangled w/ this product, I noticed that my coils began to pop more than usual, which showed me just how moisturizing this conditioner is.
I'm so happy this worked out because I actually received this particular product for free during their April promotion this year. This leave-in conditioner is right up their w/ one of my holy grail leave-ins which is the Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner. I will certainly purchase this again before the end of the year, lol. <3

I really wanted to like this product. It has a subtle coconut scent and very creamy texture, that I really enjoyed. It feels very good going, with lots of slip. Unfortunately, the product left tons of tiny white clumps of conditioner in my hair. Since I air dry my hair, that residue just doesn't work for me.
