I gave this shampoo this rating because I was under the impression that it was a gentle cleanser for babies' tender heads. Before this I used Johnson's baby wash and it was much much milder than this. My daughter's hair has never felt the same after using it. It was soft and she had beautiful curls. Now I struggle to keep her hair moisturized. I used the whole line of it's a curl. I wondered why this shampoo was so harsh in her hair. The Disodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate in this product is said to be harsher than Sodium Sulfate!! I was surprised to read that, and I wish I would have known before I used it. I believe this is truly a clarifying shampoo, if so, it should not be marketed towards babies!! Don't use this product if you want to keep your baby's hair soft and beautiful!!!

I love the smell of this shampoo however, I was a bit concerned with how it made my son's hair feel so hard. Also my nails feel like they are being stripped along with his hair. I will continue to use it until it is finished, but won't purchase again. Love the conditioner though

Very clarifying and since we only wash once a week, does a good job. Hair always looks healthy afterwards (after cond.).
