Horrible! Stripped my poor tresses of any moisture I even THOUGHT I had. Sulfate free but something in it acts just like sulfate.

I should have read the reviews because I have the same thing to say. This left my hair so stripped, dry and squeaky clean that I thought I heard my hair cry out in pain. Do not buy this shampoo if your hair needs moisture because it will steal what little you have. Even if it is sulfate free, something in it acts like a sulfate, complete with suds.

Not a fan. My hair feels stripped and dry after rinsing. It does lather more the more you repeat washes. So you get the sense it's getting the guck out . Invigorating -- yes! Hydrating --- not so much. Works more like a clarifier than a moisturizing shampoo. Though having a clarifier is what I need most times b/c of the product/oil buildup, I still want to have a shampoo that cleans and moisturizes. Co-washing does not clean the oil buildup on my scalp. Not planning to try this product again.

Me- Type 4A. Natural for 3 years, responsibly natural for 1 year.
Rating- Took 1 curl away for price, 1 curl away for smell and 1 curl away for price.
Smell- More like mint or eucalyptus but still overpowering and annoying.
Makes My Hair Feel Like- Stripped and dry.
Pros- Good if you need your hair stripped.
Cons-Bad if you dont want your hair stripped. Smells off.
Remarks- So far everything in the product line that i have reviewed has only helped in making my hair feel dry and stripped, crunchy and firm. This product is light and may work in the summer time with heat and humidity. This may also help if you dont need moisture for your hair, or something non greasy.

f you have color treated 4b hair, this is not the product for you. This left my hair so dry it felt like straw. The only thing that saved my hair was the Jane Carter conditioner.

This smells great and leaves the hair clean and free of product. My hair was soft and managable afterwards. I would recommend that it be used with the JCS Conditioner in order to get the total affect :)

i LOVE this Shampoo! I am transitioning for relaxed to natural, and fresh out of a sew-in that i used to free myself of constantly having to style my hair. After taking it out, i had bits of glue that the stylist used still in my hair, and on my scalp. I used this shampoo and it washed it all away. It also has a little bit of a medicated scent to it, and leaves a tingling feeling. But it gave me what i needed after not washing my hair for a couple of weeks.

I love it. It hydrates and cleanses my hair without stripping it.

It works great. It cleanses but doesn't strip it or make it feel sticky. Perfect.

This shampoo definitely locks the moisture in your hair. My stylist is a bit skeptical of the ingrediants but so far I love it.

Great cleanser. Cleanses very well while hydrating your curls. The peppermint feels fresh, clean and tingly.
