This is the best. I'm beginnig to think jessicurl conditioners are equally as good as curl junkie conditioners. Very moisturizing and soaks right it leaving my hair feeling awesome.

I so love this conditioner. I tried it as a leave-in and it works great. By the way I'm a 3a/b with fine strands And my fine strands loves this stuff.

I'm actually a 3b/c with fine strands this is a very good conditioner. It has plenty of slip my hair felt amazing after rinsing it out. I will def repurchase this again but maybe the large container. Its that good and I used it after a henna so that says a lot about this conditioner.

I was so excited to get this product, and very surprised to get no moisture or slip at all. I used it as a leave in and my hair was fuzzy and just horrible. I hate hate the citrus lavender scent. I ordered this online and will not repurchase it as it was very expensive.

This product is a light- weight substance, and I do not think it is effective in moisturizing my 3a fine curly hair. When I rinse it out with cool water, my hair is still tangled, and I have to use leave-in products to untangle it.

Great product moisturizes my 4c "natural" hair and I can comb it with ease. Love that it can be purchased with "no fragrance". Thank you for a great product!

I have 3a/3b hair and used this together with the cleanser which I like. But this conditioner did not work for me it left my hair dry, it felt like a rope afterwards. I color the roots of my hair every 8 weeks so my hair needs a lot of moisture maybe this has to do with it. Luckely I purchased the sample sets so I am not stuck with this conditioner. I found a new love from the curls line the sublime coconut conditioner.

I have very fine 3C hair. This conditioner smelled great and felt great, but it left my hair dry, tangled and not moisturized at all. I did not use it with the Jessicurl shampoos, so maybe that was the issue. I do not recommend this product.

Hair stats: transitioning, MBL, 4Aish, low porosity, protein and AVJ sensitive

I tried this as a DT and hated it. It didn't make my hair soft or tangle-free. I tried it as a cowash conditioner, same results. This stuff is obviously meant to be left in the hair because as a leave-in it SHINES. Great slip, softness and moisture. My LP hair can easily absorb it and it leaves all of my textures happy. A little goes a long way, so it is cost effective and the softness and moisture lasts well after your hair airdries. If it didn't work for you as a DT or cowash conditioner, try it as a LI.

Jessicurl Too Shea is the best conditionner ever point. I am deadly serious. This stuff is 100% natural, contains absolutely nothing bad for mother nature, 100% cruelty free and on top of that vegan. But the best thing about this product is the results. The first time I putted this on my hair I felt my hair reborned under my finger. And each time I go in the pool (nothing makes your hair dry like chlorine except bleach) and put this afterwards... It's like if I never had chlorine in my hair before.. My hair is always moisturised.

I picked the no fragrance one but even if there was no fragrance, it still smelled a little bit like rosemary (don't worry it's a really really light smell). The texture of the product is very different from any conditionner I had before. It's more liquidish than the average conditonner and it's brownish too. You know just by looking at it that it's 100% natural stuff.

I would recommend this product for any type of hair. I think because it's so natural and so good for your hair, everybody should have this conditionner, curly or not. So if you are still hesitating to get this product... GO AHEAD AND PUT IT IN YOUR CART RIGHT NOW!!!

P.S.: A little trick here is this stuff really deeply moisturize your hair so you should make sure that you rinse it well because it might lowered down your curls (I also rinse it with warm water, not cold water, simply because it rinses everything better).

Love love love this conditioner but the price tag is INSANE!! It's like a once in a while type conditioner to buy, like 2 bottles a year. Because AA hair is naturally dryer we have to continuously keep our moisture in check, so paying this much for a conditioner to use more frequently than once every other week is, well, INSANE. This is my once in a while conditioner simply because of the price. Had it been a 12-14 oz bottle for $17 fine, but not for a measly 8oz

I tried this conditioner as part of the May kit special and can say that my extremely thirsty 4a/3c hair LOVE LOVED this conditioner. I applied it with my hair soaking wet and it softened my hair after a particularly traumatizing henna treatment (left my hair extremely hard) my hair was moist, soft, luscious and I think... that I could almost hear my hair saying thank you!

I have 4C hair. It can get DRY!! I love this product!! Combined with a plastic cap and some heat, this stuff is AWESOME!!! My hair is so supple after use. Also, I don't have to deal with quite so many tangles. The hair feels smooth and soft. I have been using this product for about 2 years. I love it!

4b/c hair. I really wanted to like this one, but wasn't feeling it. Didn't detangle my hair or add moisture. Compared to less expensive conditioners I've used, my hair felt drier after consistent use. Not enough slip for me. I had to use tons of the stuff to try and get it to detangle my ends.

Excellent! I used it as a leave-in for my dry, rough, low porosity hair. Not only did it penetrate, it left my hair moist for more than the usual one day that I get from most moisturizers. My hair doesn't even like shea butter, so there is something in this conditioner that my hair is loving. I will be using this one for as long as she sells it.

This is my staple conditioner. I can tell it really moisturizes my hair. I took of one star bc it doesn't have the slip I need to detangle. I use a thick condish to detangle then apply this and let it soak in while shaving.

I am a 3A and I love this condish! I have to be careful with protein but I seem to be able to use this one at least once a week. I also love the fact that I can order it non-scented since I need to be careful with those as well. I haven't found very many HG's for my protein and glycerin sensitive fine

2a-3c curls. NEHH not the best slip ever.. the color was a weird gray mucky brown which surprised me. I did feel that it moisturized my locks which is why i bought it. I might buy this again if i can't find anything better. I think i might stick to my previous conditioner, which was the deva curl one conditon (now this had amazing slip!! sublte smell) but i'm a product junkie so ill probably find something better than this. I still have alot of this stuff left so of course i am going to keep using it in hopes it will help save my hair from this winter desert weather.

I'm four months into my transition, so I'm looking for things that will works harmoniously with both my natural and relaxed hair. As a leave-in conditioner, this is great! The citrus lavender scent is intoxicating. I couldn't wait to use this as a deep conditioner so the smell could really get infused in my hair. However, when I used this as a deep conditioner for the first time, my natural hair seemed to like it. My relaxed hair sadly didn't like it as much, which sucked. Even though my transitioning hair doesn't like this product, I will defiantly try this again when I am fully naturally. Hopefully, my review will be more positive :-).

I got the Island Fantasy scent, this fragrance is for people who prefer a really sweet smell. This conditioner was talked about so highly that I figures it must be a really great conditioner (and considering that the name includes Extra Moisturizing). After using it a couple of times I've realized that it's no better than any other silicone free conditioner out there. It's just okay, I'm sure you can find a more moisturizing conditioner for around the same price.

This is a good moisturizing conditioner that works well with different styling products. It is really creamy and the island fantasy one and the one without added fragrance smell nice! I would recomend it to most curlies, but it does not give the best detangle/slip if that is what you are looking for.

I've completely fallen in love with this product! I've known about Jessicurl for years, but always considered their products to be "too expensive". Until, that is, I sat down and calculated how much money I was spending on products that didn't work. Purchasing this conditioner was probably one of the best investments I've made for my hair. It's so conditioning, yet not so heavy that it leaves my hair greasy. I LOVE the "Island Fantasy" scent - it reminds me of coconut. I think my next Jessicurl purchase will be the Cleansing Cream. But first, I'll be purchasing the gallon sized container of Too Shea! (Which, I wish that CurlMart carried...)

I absolutely LOVE this!!! This is an excellent leave-in moisturizer for my fine 3c/4a curls!! Even in high humidity this conditioner does well with leaving my hair soft and my curls defined. I rake in Donna Mare's miracurl curling gelly after applying this conditioner as a leave-in and I can get 5 day hair with amazing curls and very little touch up needed. My hair length is just above my shoulders. Total I can get 7 day hair (I like to wash my hair every 6-7 days) with this as a leave-in.

The Citrus Lavender scent is pleasant and I like the product is cruelty free and vegan (though I am not one). The appearance/texture of the conditioner struck me as a bit unusual; at first glance it almost appears paste like. The ingredients list reads like a veritable herb garden; it's full of good for your hair ingredients. It provided enough slip in the shower for me to be able to detangle and while it made my hair look curlier (if that's even possible), I didn't feel like my hair was as soft as I would've liked (even though I left it in for 5 minutes). I do like that it can be used as a traditional conditioner, leave in, or deep conditioner, so perhaps my tresses will like it better as a leave in moisturizer.

I read good reviews of this conditioner for type 3b curls and so I was excited to try it. I have thick, coarse type 3b/3c curls and I had previously used Mixed Chicks deep conditioner which I was happy with but am always up for trying something new. When I first got the Jessicurl I thought something was wrong with it because the consistency was so thin and watery. However, I figured out that this is just how it is. It had a nice smell (island fantasy) and once I put on enough it worked well enough but I ended up going through the bottle twice as fast as with my Mixed Chicks - a little goes a long way with the Mixed Chicks. In any case, I'm glad I tried it but it did not work out for my hair and would be better for someone with finer and less thick hair.

I really wanted this product to work. It really did not moisturize my hair at all and left it very dry after rinsing it out. I also tried the cleansing cream and confidence coils and eventually gave up on styling and rewashed my hair. I think this is much better for 3 curls. My 4A curls needed a lot more moisture...My search continues!!

I have 3A/B fine to medium hair that had been quite damaged by coloring and weakened by products containing sulfates, keratins, silcones and waxes. I started using Jessicurl products back in Oct. and my hair is so much healthier. Too Shea is great as a rinse out conditioner, it has great slip for detangling my mid back length hair. I originally used it as a leave in conditioner too, but as my hair quality improved, I no longer need a LIC. I use it as a rinse out after shampooing with Hair Cleansing Cream or for co-washing. I use tried the Lavender Citrus scent and it has a light scent that disappears after my hair is dry.
I ran out out of this conditioner once before I had time to reorder. I used sulfate free R*dkin products from my hair product stash and my hair was out of control again until I had my Jessicurl order again.
I also use Rockin' Ringlets and Confident Coils. I'm definitely a Jessicurl convert.

I love this conditioner! I have 3b/c hair that is very dry and this is the best rinse out I've tried thus far. I have the 32 ounce bottles of this and aloeba which I use as a co wash. My hair really drinks it up. I always leave it on for a few minutes, rinse it out, and then use two or three more pumps as a leave in. It makes my hair so soft and shiny and frizz free! I got it in the island fantasy scent which is delicious, a mix of vanilla, coconut, and pineapple that reminds me of being on vacation!

I loved this DC when I first used it, however I believed I could find something even better after hearing curlies rave about other DC's. Well after using both the CJ Rehab and the Aubrey Honeysuckle DC I've learnt that if it's not broken don't try to fix it! This DC is amazing, both with heat or left in overnight. Completely moisturises my hair and when rinsed out leaves my hair feeling very smooth and looking very healthy. So happy it's in a bottle now. Would definitely recommend!

I really love this conditioner. I use it every time I wash my hair. I have very thick, somewhat course, 3b curls and my hair just drinks this stuff up. Not only was my hair softer and shinier beginning with the first use but my hair has gotten healthier after several months of been using it. My hairdresser noticed the effects on my hair and when I told her it was Jessicurl Too Shea she investigated the line and now uses it in her salon! I get the liter bottle and use a fair amount, at least 1/2 dollar size. I also tried it as a leave in but that didn't really work for me.

adding to my comment below- it has horrible slip so it was hard to detangle my hair. A lot of my hair came out since the conditioner wasn't slippery at all. It was as if I was detangling only using water. Matter of fact, the water helped more than the conditioner.

I'm a 3b. I bought this along with their cleansing cream. Definitely will not buy this again. Some reviews say its watery...its not. The cleansing cream is watery not this conditioner. It made my hair heavy and greasy feeling which made it look frizzy. I think this conditioner is too heavy for 3b's. The shea butter does not penetrate our type of curls it just weighs it down and makes it greasy. Not happy about the results at all specially since all the other reviews seem great.

Wow! Makes my hair feel like silk! As a rinse-out it's highly moisturizing, and thoroughly detangling. As a rinse-out, it adds bouncy softness and helps battle dryness that some styling products might cause. The Citrus Lavender fragrance is so uplifting - like summer in a bottle. This makes my hair look and feel so shiny and healthy!

I was very skeptical when buying this, as I spend too much money on hair products that do absolutely nothing. I need a thick conditioner with good slip, as my hair tends to get very tangled and I kept reading how this was really watery. It is watery, but it has great slip and detangled my hair awesome!! My curls where super soft and bouncy!!! LOVE THIS STUFF! just wish it came in a bigger size :)

I live in India and have had a tough time finding a conditioner that works for my hair. Sure, you get many natural oils but they make my hair look extremely oily or dry out really quickly, My hair really felt like hay and I didn't even feel motivated to take care of it.
My sister got me this conditioner and many more- but this is the one I used first. It is simply amazing. I can see the difference in my locks and I don't even apply styling gel now.
My hair is moisturized and soft- and more than anything, extremely hydrated...

When I got it first over a year ago it was of a different consistency than when I got it later. Performed differently too. Much better. It was my HG for regular conditioner and leave in. I used up what I had and reordered and it wasn't the same. Thought something was wrong with it and got another jar and it was still not the same as before. So it works fine, but not my HG anymore. It doesn't work with any other leave in as well as it does with itself as a leave in (for me). Which is fine. Seems to be ok with any styling product used over it tho. It's my go to when I don't want to sit for a long time over the box of products wondering what to use that day and with what.

When my hair is in need for some extra moisture this stuff does the job just great. My only downside is the sweet marshmallow root smell. It tends to smell a bit to sweet for me but otherwise I love it!

This is a FANTASTIC conditioner - it does amazing things for my curls and also boosts shine & smoothness when I straighten my hair. Adore it, especially for the winter months. The only bad thing is that it makes my back break out pretty bad.

I have been transitioning for about four months now and I was finally able to use the product for the first time about one month ago. I love it. My hair was the softest and shiniest it's ever been. And it stayed that way all week! I'm also noticing less shedding so I believe my hair is getting stronger. This product is a must have for your hair regimen.

After much hesitation, I bought this product. For me, a person who has too many products to try another one, and not a cheap one, its hard. This product made my curl flat and straw like. Its listed in this search engine as a low protein conditioner. I thought it might be low enough to be ok, But it made my hair straw-like, bunch together and come out in the comb. It has Hydrolyzed oat protein. It also doesn't go very far. However, I have very porous hair and it is also very fine and medium curly. It is also thinning and I am assuming its from other protein conditioners which are causing it to break. I have gone back to Giovanni deep conditioner cause I think its the best value, and it gives silkiness. And EWG gives it a low rating for toxicity (and I cant say that for many products on this site, especially Suave and stuff) go to
COSMETIC SAFETY DATABASE to check out your products and / or ingredients.

I have 4a hair and Too Shea is the best conditioner I've found to use as a leave in. And I've tried many in my 3 year journey to be naturally curly. It is light enough to let my head breath but heavy enough to keep my curls feeling pampered. I refreshen it daily with a spritz bottle of organic aloe vera juice. Too Shea is my "go to" as a leave in.

My favorite conditioner! I thought it would weigh down my curls or leave them a little stringy because it is so moisturizing - but, for me, not at all. In my side to side test as a rinse-out on dry-season hair, JCTS left my hair more glossy, less frizzy, more ringlets than waves, and with the same amount of volume as Curl Junkie Curl Rehab. I am so glad it comes in unscented (didn't try scented) - don't have to worry about whether or not I'll like it or if it will make my eyes burn. Unscented does smell a bit like Italian seasoning.

I thought the jar would be bigger, but I really like the herbal smell and they way it rinses out. I never know when I have used enough product because it doesn't offer that conditioner slimy texture feel that Im used to so I just try not to over do it since i condition every day

Nice conditioner that doesn't seem to weigh down my fine 2a/2b hair. I would not consider this a deep conditioner, though - better for co-wash use every few days. Wish it was in a bottle - not thick enough to make the jar necessary and it is a pain to use while showering. I like this as a regular co-wash conditioner and the Aloeba as a leave-in (Aloeba is not thick and moisturizing enough as a rinse out conditioner). The citrus lavendar scent is divine - and I like that I can choose that scent for all the Jessicurl products.

Very moisturizing and leaves my hair feeling very soft. However it is a lot less creamy than most conditioners of this type, and it's not the very best conditioner I've ever used in regards to improved long-term manageability and giving me healthy appearing hair. 4 stars!

Posted by Aysha (Type 3c) on 09/07/2010

BEST conditioner I've used on my hair - and I've used a lot: natural and not. I don't even need to use a comb when I use this conditioner. It detangles so well that my fingers work just fine. It leaves hair silky and soft without feeling weighted down. I use it as a co-wash and a leave-in. The ONLY reason it gets 4 stars is the packaging. I agree with jacydance. The tub lends itself to waste and water gets in it. It's not really thick enough to work well in a tub and I'm often tempted to put it in a bottle.

  • 2

Posted by jacydance (Type 3b) on 08/28/2010

This product itself was so-so, my hair was indifferent to it. It didn't moisturize that well but it didn't damage either. The worst part however, is the packaging. Tubs like this are made for think, almost solid like liquids. the conditioner is thin, watery, and sloshes around in the packaging. I dropped it after putting on the side of the shower, and lost around $5 of the it. The packaging knocks it down a star.

Finally found a moisturizing conditioner for my fine, medium thickness hair that is colored and highlighted. It doesn't weigh down my curls, doesn't build up, and I don't require an after wash moisturizer, either. I sometimes use Aloeba on the top and Too Shea on the bottom half of my shoulder-length mane, depending on how long it has been since a deep conditioning.

I like this conditioner better than any other I've tried. My hair is fine but thick and a bit on the dry side, so this seems to be the perfect daily conditioner for me. It's very moisturizing and I think it's terrific that you can get it without any fragrance (I've tried other products that have a similar effect but couldn't stand to continue using them because of their smells). The only down side is that this comes in a jar rather than a bottle, but I can deal with that because this stuff is a steal--it moisturizes so much better than other expensive conditioners.

I have fine, wavy hair, but lots of it. It is not naturally dry at all, and my scalp tends to be more toward the oily side. Too Shea simply didn't do anything good for me at all. It has no deeper moisturizing abilities, and it ended up coating the hair shaft each time I used it and built up badly. Since I use shampoo only about every 3 or 4 days and the other days I do the no-poo method, the days that I didn't use shampoo the Too Shea would just keep building up on top of the previous day's application, and the shampoo didn't clean it away on days I shampooed. I actually had to use either an apple cider vinegar rinse or baking soda each time I wanted to get all the Too Shea cleaned off. Frustrating! This product caused my hair to just look blah without good curl formation at all. Did not have the ability to deeply moisturize, either (I tried it also as a weekly deep conditioner, and my hair felt no different than if I had just briefly conditioned with it after shampooing. I couldn't wait to use this product up and have it gone and finished so I could move to something better and definitely more moisturizing! Avalon Organics Olive & Grape Seed Moisturizing Conditioner, Fragrance Free, is just what my hair needs for excellent lighter daily conditioning without being greasy or weighing it down! By the way, I've used all the Jessicurl products in the unscented versions, and even though each has its own very light natural smell from the ingredients in it, I do appreciate the opportunity to be able to purchase products without strong scent!

This is the perfect conditioner for my 2c/3a curls. Like all other Jessicurl products, I don't need much so I really get a lot of life out of this conditioner (and my hair is long, shoulder blade-length), and even add water with it sometimes if my hair isn't particularly dry. I'm not sure about the other comment about the scent leaving, it's been two days since I washed my hair and it still smells like Island Fantasy goodness. Maybe that's because I use all Jessicurl products from shampoo to styling. Love it.

This is a GREAT deep conditioner, as long as you rinse it out completely. Too greasy to leave in. I'm giving it 3 curls because the faint lavender smell (what I was hoping for) fades within minutes, leaving behind only a heavy, greasy, jerry-curl smell. Blegh. At this level of price and performance, I would expect the smell to be more luxurious.

Wow I think I'm in love! This is my new favorite conditioner. I have very dry color treated 3/a hair. I've noticed some other curlies with my hair type didn't get good results with this because it was too heavy. I guess it depends on the person. My hair seems to drink it up! Its soo moisturizing for my curls. It creates great slip and has good detangling ability too. I just ordered a full liter of it from Jessicurl.com . I recommend this product to all color treated curlies. I know it really has helped my hair I wont ever be without this conditioner again.

As some other reviewers said, this conditioner is just not heavy enough for me. It washed out almost immediately after I put it in, so I ended up having to repply before I got out of the shower. And even then my hair didn't feel super moisturized, and I had to use a ton of it. This wasn't the product for me, I guess.

I tell you, I'm not sure how to begin. It started out well, I used the weekly deep treatment a day ago and it was FANTASTIC! So I decided to use the TOO Shea tonight to maintain moisture! Quite contrary to my expectations... ha! My hair is terribly dry. When I applied it in the wet shower it was soft and lovely and then I towel dried with a t-shirt- and my hair seemed to have shrunk almost immediately and become really tight and dry...drrrryyyy!
Wow! Wot a Shocker! Hehe...never again! You know I think too Shea isn't Shea enough, not for my hair at least. I'll use it to experiment maybe I'll add in some more Shea butter. It might be better then :)
I still Love the Weekly treatment which has become more of a daily conditioner for me- I hope no terrible effects will be as a result- it’s just nuffin’ leaves my hair as soft after use. Wish me luck and good luck to you. Cheers, thanks.

The second best conditioner I have ever used. It's a little too thick to use as a leave-in during the summer, but I use it as a leave-in during the winter and get great results. As with the Aloeba, I don't need any styling product over it when I'm using it as a leave-in. However, I must rinse my hair every day when I use this one as a leave-in or else it begins to feel a little coated. That's the only reason I'm only giving it 3 curls.

I really liked this conditioner. It has a thicker, heavier consistency than the WDT but not as thick as I expected it should be with a shea butter content. It moisturizes my thick curls very well. It is very mixable with other leave-ins and gels. Offered great slip as with all other Jessicurl conditioners. I personally prefer this one to the WDT because it contains more oil and weight as a leave-in. This is a good secret weapon when layering products! Shine, shine, and more shine!

As far as conditioners go, this was a good product. I liked the smell and it was good for detangling my hair. The things I did not like about this product is that I had less curl definition and my hair was harder to control. I would suggest that if you have very fine curly hair like me, a little goes a long way, use in moderation.

Ugh! I didn't expect to hate this, but I do! A very heavy conditioner, and not in a good way. Left a greasy filmy build-up in my hair, on my hands, even in my tub. After the second use I had to use an old sulfate 'poo to get rid of it - twice! I wouldn't even use it as a deep conditioner. The Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioner is a lighter, mousse-ish texture and absorbed into my hair, rather than just coat the outside the way this did. Wavies Beware!!

Love it! I use this with Jessicurl Cleansing Cream, then once a week I used the Weekly Deep Conditioner. I love all 3 products. The consistency and feel of Too Shea! is great and it is great for my hair. I sometimes use it as a leave in, and it gives fairly defined curls but still soft. Only complaint I have is the fake fragrances of the Jessicurl products are horrible.

I must admit, I was not impressed with Too Shea. I'm sure its moisturizers are great for some but for my hair, it was just ok. For something with shea butter, I expected it to be thicker and not so pudding-like.

This is a really good conditioner, and the Citrus Lavender scent uses essential oils instead of perfumes, which I like. The jar packaging is a little awkward, but I don't know what other kind of container you could use for such a thick conditioner.

Even though this did not work for me, it is an excellent product. Great detangler and hair softener if your hair does well with Jojoba Oil. Smells nice and delivery time is excellent.

This is one of my favorite conditioners! It is so moisturizing and makes my hair so soft, especially after repeated use. It's a little too much for my hair in the middle of summer but I would use it everyday for the rest of the year.

I have 3a hair, I guess, which is longish and highlighted and therefore dry-this conditioner is fabulous-I have been using it daily all week since I got it and my hair feels great-I don't shampoo very often following the Devacurl method-just this conditioner every day-need bigger jar

I just recently tried this conditioner and I LOVE IT!!!! The only that that is hard it to open the twist cap in the shower and reclose it without dropping the conditioner that is in my hand. But, my hair is very very soft after using this, it's too bad that I have to pay for shipping. I wish I could get it in a local salon.

Did nothing for my hair, rinsed right out. Devacurl is a million times better.

I LOVE!!!! Too Shea. I have really curly hair (4a-4b) and I wanted it to be softer and more defined. I ordered the conditioning trial pack and got a free sample of Confident Coils which is also INCREDIBLY awesome. I recommend that everyone try out Jessicurl products. I can't wait to try out the rest of my trial pack

I can't say enough good things about this product. My hair loves it. (I am a 3a with very thick, coarse, dry hair; it may be too heavy for people with finer hair.) I didn't realize how wonderful it was until I tried another conditioner, which sent me immediately back to the frizzy, dry mess I remember from my pre-Too-Shea days. This product is the bomb!

This is an incredible moisturizer and a great choice for condition-washing the scalp because it has no silicones. It can over-moisturize your hair if used daily, so I found that it is best paired with the Hair Cleansing Cream or the use of a clarifying rinse. The scents are lovely!

This conditioner was made for thick thirsty hair! I loved it, my hair has never been so soft. The smell is great, I could not stop touching my finaly soft hair!

Nice concept, but this didn't moisturize my hair. In fact over an extended period of time it dried it out.

LOVE this stuff!! I only have to use a tiny amount on my 3a thick hair and it works wonders! I even use a little as a leave-in and my hair never gets weighed down! And I LOVE the Island Fantasy scent!

When my hair needs to be "cuddled" I load up on this stuff. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling so good. I only wish Jessi would make this stuff for the body as well. It is awesome!!!

I was very excited to order this conditioner based upon the reviews. I have very thick 3b hair that is relaxed and highlighted. This conditioner did nothing for it and instead left it dry... very dissapointed!!

I like it. I love it. I want some more of it! Too Shea is simply superb! I was previously using Aloeba as my daily conditioner, but now that my hair is getting longer (and a tad drier), I decided to switch to the Too Shea and I am so glad that I did. Amazing moisture, shine, and softness! Amazing stuff! I now use Too Shea as my daily conditioner and Aloeba as my leave-in. A perfect combo when combined with Rockin' Ringlets!

I prefer this to Aloeba b/c my hair is very thick and this helps fight frizz for me. Her products are incredible! (And I've tried just about everything!)

I bought this conditioner since it received such great reviews, but I have to say that I was truly disappointed. Perhaps this product isn't appropriate for my 2C hair? I've used this stuff twice and my hair didn't feel soft or conditioned at all! I've used half the jar and will probably not use the rest. Yes it smells great but almost like using nothing. I'm still in search of the perfect conditioner.

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CONDITIONER. EVER. I love Island Fantasy scent. Great for detangling, my hair drinks it up. After application, my hair is soft and moisturized. You can also use it as a leave in. Awesome product. If I could give it 5 curls I would.

My favorite conditioner of all time! After a fall and winter of mostly wearing my hair down and also having my hair dried out by terrible products (see my AllSoft review), this is what made my hair happy again. After a month of using Too Shea, my hair was so wonderfully hydrated that I no longer needed to use it daily. Now I use it just once or twice a week and my curls have never been happier. Very, very hydrating. My hair has never been softer.

This conditioner is wonderful both as a deep treatment or a daily conditioner, depending on how dry my hair feels. Leaves my hair smooth, detangled, and shiny, and the island fantasy scent is so good I have to fight back the urge to eat it.

My hair:2b, 3a and fine. I love this conditioner and that it does not contain cones or proteins, which tend to easily build up on my hair. I use it once every 1 1/2 weeks. I alternate it with a couple of my other favorites, since it seems anything used too often ceases to work well for me. Detangles very well, gives my hair a great soft texture without ruining my wimpy waves.

3A fine hair, delicate curls. As with all Jessicurl conditioners, this one is great too. Shea Butter is the main ingredient. I use it as my once a week deep conditioner, only to the ends it can be heavy.

I love this conditioner! It leaves my hair so soft, I just cant get enough of it. As with the Aloeba, it detangles and leaves my ends softer. I have less frizz when I use this or the Aloeba. I like to use this as my regular condish, and the Aloeba as my leave in.
Also, the scents are the best!

This one of my favorite all-time conditioners. It's super rich and loaded with moisturizers. It could be used as a good daily or deep conditioner. Smells wonderful. Really made a difference for my 3b hair.
