Argh! I don't want to give this two stars...but I must. I'm a huge fan of KBB products...but this co-wash is NOT cutting it.

There was no slip...NONE! Thank God I did a pre-poo beforehand (both times) or the results may have been disastrous. I tried it twice to give it a fair review, but it just wasn't for me. I like co-washes with some slip, to help with shower detangling and this was a no go. Two stars is all I can manage. 1) For the smell. I've always loved KBB's Vanilla Latte scent, but I believe Lavender Vanilla may be taking that number one spot. 2) I did like the grains/beads within the co-wash, because they felt awesome on my scalp. (I could feel them.) Unfortunately, this was not enough. Perhaps my hair was just too thick...*shrug*

I tried this and I ended up not loving but not hating it either. This has a light sweet smell that I love!!!!! I not over powering at all. In my regimen I typically don’t detangle, I usually add whatever co-wash I’m using and some water and detangle then. This texture is so light that it doesn’t facilitate detangling for my 4C hair. So I re-read the directions and the second time I let it sit for 5 mins and started detangling, it was a tad bit better but I had to find another conditioner to get the job done. So the next time I used another co-wash to cleanse and detangle then applied this after (just to find a way to use it up) and my hair came out soft!!! Really light and soft!! I continued that routine until I finished the bottle and each time I was very happy with the results. So I don’t love it because I wasn't really able to cleanse with it but I don’t hate it because it really left my hair so. I'm thinking about trying the leave-in because the texture of this reminded me more of a leave in texture (thin and runny). Although it didn't quite work for me, I can really see someone else loving this.

This is my new favorite sulfate-free cleanser. It is officially one of my holy grail products.
*Ultra-moisturizing - My hair never feels stripped of any moisture. I can start my detangling process with this product which saves me a bunch of time in the shower

    * I don't have to pre-poo when using this process which once again cuts my wash time.

    * I don't have to use a lot on each section of hair. This product is expensive so the fact that a little goes a long way is a plus.

    * My hair feels clean after use without the suds. I know some people like the sudsy sulfate free shampoos because their hair feels cleaner. But even though this product doesn't get sudsy, my hair still feels clean.

    * Fragrance. I get so many complements on how my hair smells even 2 days after my wash. I use the Pomegranate Guava and I'm addicted. You can also get it in so many other scents.

    * Grainy-Consistency: Now this doesn't bother me at all but I know that it might deter some people. When you rub the product between your fingers it feels grainy. Like it has bits of sand in it or really tiny exfoliating beads. Now who wants that in their hair??? Well if you use it, you'll notice that it helps get rid of the product buildup. Also it rinses out pretty easily. My hair never feels grainy afterwards.

    * Cost. It's expensive. But like I said a little goes a long way. And for me the benefits outweigh cost. I will continue to buy until the price gets too ridiculous lol.
