  I like this for holding edges down so far. It does seem like it might dry my hair out as a styler. I would love to cocktail it with her leave in conditioner but they all contain glycerin. So I'll keep experimenting with it.

  I haven't bought this gel in over six months because I usually buy enough to last a long time...it WAS my fave! I swear thu must've changed the formula because my hair felt like straw the day after I applied it for a twist out. I wish I would've known this before buying 2 jars!!! I'm very disappointed.

  So far so good but I've only used it once for a twist out. I applied to damp hair after applying the super duper hydrating cream and my twist out looked really good today and wasnt hard or crunchy at all. Normally i just retwist at night but decided to pineapple just to see how many days i can wear my twist out before having to retwist since I'm assuming the gel will give me a good hold.

  I am not a gel person, they rarely work for me, I prefer creams for styling, so was skeptical about this, but was placing an order anyway, like other products from this brand, and decided to get it. Love it! I scrunched in little more than a quarter of a teaspoon of gel (my hair is thick and bsl and it seemed enough, was slippy and easy to distribute) after a KBB Nectar as a leave in, air dried, and results are amazing. No crunch, no dryness, no frizz, no heaviness, just shiny, defined, supersoft, swingy hair. There was some crunch on the ends while drying, but once totally dry it was gone. One other product that makes my hair look and feel similar to this is Alba Styling Cream and Alba is HG, but 4oz, and this is 8oz and will last a while. So glad I got it.
