  Ok so perhaps I should have read the instructions. I shampoo'd my hair then used this a deep conditioner. Major mistake. This stuff is strong. It's grainy but kinda melts in your hands. It's harder to melt if your hair is soaking wet. The scent is not for the faint heartened. It smells organic! Like spices! Yuck! But it you can tell its quality. For the price I paid, I expected miracles. I wasn't happy with the results because when I came to wash it out if wasn't rinsing out easily. I was like trying to rinse oil from your hair. I just had this waxy feel to the hair. To make matters worse I was planning to do a roller set. I ended using no leave in but foam wrap lotion only, cause I could feel this stuff was still on my hair. I think next time I will apply before shampooing and when doing twists. Aside from the coating thing, it is brilliant

  I am IMPRESSED. I had some trepidation when I first opened the jar because I thought I had purchased a deep conditioner (clearly I didn't read the description) but I decided to give it a go anyways. WOW. My hair loved it! Just sooooo soft. I acutally used it the wrong way (still didn't read) and applied it as a DC instead of pre-treatment and sat under the dryer for 20 mins. My joint still came our awesome! Next time I will use as directed in conjunction with luscious lock DC with is the bomb diggity. This prod gets a gold star. I am a fan!

  I got this product free with a 50 dollar or over purchase from Karen's website.
  
  I have been using it as a grease for my hair, slicking down edges, and just moisturizing my ends.
  
  Well, I finally used the product as instructed and it worked well for what it claims to do.
  
  I put the product on my hair overnight before shampooing the next morning and after I shampooed my ends were no where near as dry as they would be if I hadn't used to product.
  
  It didn't get 5 stars because for me it didn't help with detangling.
  
  Would I get it again, probably not, since I am scaling back on the cost of my hair products. I am going to try to achieve the same effect using hair grease that I already have when it runs out.
  
  Love Karen but its just too expensive for me.

  ok i was a little skeptical about this product and was thinking did I really just spend 25 dollars on this. I must say it left my hair super soft the only problem I have is it left a slight film but other than that pretty good. The only reason I will not purchase often is the size and the price.

  I love this restorative treatment. I usually use this as my pre-poo treatment. I leave it on for 20 min and then shampoo my hair. When I put this on my hair it makes my hair softer and makes shampooing my hair a breeze. 5 stars
