The good side of this shampoo for me was that it caused much less tangling and stripping than many others I tried.
The bad points for me are that it can sometimes leave an itchy scalp, and also contains castor oil. Prefer not to have castor oil in shampoos as it can build up and I'm partly using shampoo to remove it, but if you are ok with castor oil then it won't be a problem and is worth a try.

    My hair never felt softer.

The shampoo itself is fine, I did not find that it worked any better/worse than other sulfate-free options I've used. I just can't get past the SMELL! I know several people noted that they liked the smell, but I found it so off-putting that after a week this one went into the back of my hair-care-product cabinet.

This shampoo is gentle but cleans the hair without that drying, stripping feeling! It has been my favorite low poo to use and I always go back to it!

I am very impressed with this low-poo! I had an awful time finding a 'poo that didnt turn my thick 2c/3a protein sensitive hair into straw. I love that this is protein free, smells great, no silicones, sulfates, and my hair feels so nice after washing. This is the best low-poo I've found - will definitely re-order when my bottle runs out!

I have 3b/3c hair and I am very pleased with this product. It is not as sudsy as the standard shampoos out there, but my hair is beautiful and clean. The middle of my hair is prone to becoming puffy and straw-like. This product had an effect on my puffy-straw section after just one use (amazing!) I never thought I would find a great shampoo (and, believe me, I have wasted a lot of money in a tiresome vicious cycle of trying this and that). I see myself sticking with this shampoo for a long time--I shampoo every other day. I gave this 4 curls instead of 5 because I don't take the word "best" lightly. Good luck with your curls. Dump the bad poo and cones and you will be ushered into a whole new world of curl delight!

Absolutely fantastic! I've never used a shampoo like this before! It felt like my hair does after cowashing, but with actual shampoo that suds up (just a tad) and cleans magnificently! I was a little scared of the price, but I only used 2 quarter-sized puddles for my BSL thick coarse hair. It's a keeper!!

The smell of this shampoo is so soothing. I love the citrus-y scent and how it makes my hair feel so moisturized all day. Wonderful product.

I wasn't sure about this product the first time I used it, but when I washed my hair again 2 days later, WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Usually when I just wet my hair, it has a dry feel to it in some parts, but when I wet my hair 2 days after using this shampoo, my hair felt moisturized - that's only with the water..! Then when I used the shampoo, it acted almost as a detangler. I am completely sold on this - I also use the accompanying conditioner. Absolutely lovely.

I think this shampoo is overlooked. It is excellent and cleanses without stripping. It is very moisturizing and you do not need a ton of product even if you have a ton of hair. Threre is not protein in it and the oils in it do not weigh you down. Highly recommended!

This totally changed my hair for the better! It leaves my hair silky and conditioned after rinsing (doesn't make a ton of suds either). Even though it's sulfate-free it still cleans well, just gently. The scent is nice too, light orange & mint. Since switching to this my hair is shiny and soft, like it never was with sulfates. It's really made the theory of CG work for me and brought out my best curls.
(Don't know why it's listed as "conditioner" maybe that's why I'm the first to review it, I was looking at other MOPs and noticed there weren't reviews for this)
