I have 2c/3a hair and this cream was advertised for such curl patterns. I wanted to love it because the ingredients are great and I try to support the smaller businesses. But honestly, there isn't too many good things to say about this curl creme.
The consistency definitely wasn't lightwight. It was very thick, almost like a peanut butter type texture. It didn't have any slip so distributing it through my hair was awful. Then my curls just looked limp and all over the place. They also felt product-y. I tried it first as a leave-in under KCCC, then I tried it as a main styler, both efforts failing.
It smells like an art classroom so I added my own fragrance oil to it. I think it's way overpriced for a small quantity, even if it did work, but I'm giving it to my boyfriend to use as a hair paste. I wouldn't recommend this for girls with thinner, looser curls.

When used as a styling aid/moisturizer it made my hair soft at first but then my hair became rough after a few minutes. I believe that was due to the ingredient sodium starch octenylsuccinate. This ingredient is a form of salt which dries out the hair. I recommend the owner using an emulsifier that is more moisturizing instead of a salt based emulsifier.

Good thick cream for my hair. I like that it's unscented, because I've been chased by bees lately. Seriously, it's kind of scary. So to have moisture without the scent works. This cream is good for styling, but I would not use it on old twist outs to avoid flaking.

I'm a black woman, age 47, and I have been using this product for two weeks. My scalp is in excellent condition and my hair is very moist. I generally keep my hair in flat twist, or flat double twist. When I untwist my hair, my hair is very well conditioned. The product itself is thick and creamy, oily, yet very rich. It melts onto your scalp, its wonderful. My hair has been chemically treated and the product makes it very soft. My roots which are an inch thick because of new growth....are very moist. I am impressed with this product. It has a peppermint smell, but only in the jar, it fades away when applied to the scalp or hair. This cream would be wonderful for single twists.

This product is nice and thick. It leaves my hair shiny and soft. It's good for twisties and braids. It would recommended other products with it if you are want to leave your hair out
