Greg Juice is an oil-free mixture of vegetable moisturizers and herbal essences.  It feeds hair like a salad, and is great for moisturizing, detangling and refreshing thirsty hair.

How does Greg Juice do its magic? It all starts with spring water, which is strongly infused with a variety of herbs known to help stimulate the scalp and encourage hair growth. Added to this herbal infusion are vegetable ingredients for detangling and slip; pure organic aloe vera juice for moisture and suppleness; vegetable glycerine for humectancy and shine; and an essential oil blend nutritious to the scalp.

Greg Juice is a great daily pick-me-up on cornrows or twists. Others like it to keep locs moisturized without weighing them down. It's a great detangler, too, for people of all hair types.

Aqueous Infusion of Equisetum hymale (Shavegrass) Leaf, Lavandula officinalis (Lavender) Buds, Urtica dioica (Nettle) Leaf, Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) Flower, Rosa centifola (Red Rose) Petals, Linum usitatissimum (Flax) Seeds (Organic), Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice (Organic), Vegetable Glycerin, Fragrance, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus aurantium dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Citric Acid.

Summary: Orange-aide scent; Delivers slip & moisture; Works well at 50% dilution; Shake well before use
Those 8oz bottles don't last a month of daily use on my waist+length 4B 'fro. The liter refills available at are the best value. I dilute 50:25:25 juice, aloe vera juice & distilled water. My hair is supple, knot-free & shiny. I usually pair Greg Juice with fruit scented products (SM Kids, Coconut Hibiscus, Superfruit & men's lines, Vatika Naturals, Qhemet Biologics, BASK/Bekura haircare). I live in a humid climate so sealing with an oil or butter after using this product is mandatory.
NOTE: Shake well before use or the herbal ingredients (that provide slip) will settle to the bottom of the bottle.

This conditioner smells nice and works really well when paired with the Burnt Sugar Pomade. However, by itself it's nothing spectacular. The moisture and softness won't last unless you put the pomade on top. The only plus about this is the fact that it's a spray-on leave in (I love those) and that the bottle sprays really well. It's really easy to evenly saturate my strands with this. Overall, I think I would get it and use it as a refresher. It's really good for that if you seal again afterwards.

I have used this for a bit now. Its good for added moisture but can be sticky. You really need to shake the bottle well and possibly dilute it.

I love this product as a curl and/or twist-out refresher. The scent is just fresh, not floral or fragrant. Another win for Oyin!

For me this is a bittersweet review. I'm relaxed now but like to moisturize and seal at night. I tried this spray and it worked extremely well with my moisturizer. But I started noticing I was getting rashes anywhere the spray came in contact with and have to discontinue using it. So it's back to the drawing board for me but I would still recommend it to others, even though I'm not sure which ingredient was causing my irritation.

I just placed another order to refill! However, I wanted to try the Frank Juice this time and ordered that. I wanted to wait on this review to make sure it worked well. All of the Oyin juices are the same except for the smell. The Greg Juice has a light citrus smell and is not overbearing at all. I mainly used this product to spritz on my protective styles, but also used as a refresher on twist outs. It moisturized and softened my hair without losing any of the styling products I used. I just spritz a little juice all over my head, spritz a little water after that (to save on the juice!), and then throw a shower cap on my head before I get in the shower to help get extra moisture from the steam. After the shower, I apply a very small amount of coconut oil to seal and slightly manipulate my hair, if needed, and then I am on my way. I do not have anything bad to say about this product! It is now a part of my regimine and I will continue to buy.

I love this stuff. It works well on my low porosity, protein sensitive, transitioning hair. I need the moisture boost. I spray this on and add a leave in and then finish with a butter. Good results. I like the smell. Its simple. I prefer this to the Juices/Berries and Frank Juice. This works best as a refresher for really dry hair. Also, if you need a moisture boost this is what will work for you. It was not sticky like the Juices/Berries. I did not have to add water. If you are curious try the sample pack first and that way you can test all three and decide if they work for you. This is a staple for me now. Its easier than making my own. If you can that's good. I don't have the time right now so this works for me.

So far Oyin hasn't been doing me any favors. I used this to refresh second day curls and ended up a stringy mess. I think largely because of the vegetable glycerine (that's sticky stuff!). I might cut it and give it another try, but Oyin products do NOT seem to be a good choice for my fine hair.

At first i didn't really believe that this little bottle of liquid could refresh my curls, honestly i used to spray my hair with rosewater and couldn't refresh it, a pure nightmare.

I had to go through a few mistakes before understanding that only a few pshit of Greg juice is needed, too much cause me sticky, tangled hair. When you know this it's perfect as a mist detangler for the morning follow by the hair dew and seal with Burnt Sugar pomade or organic Coconut oil you are ready for soft, bouncy, moisturize curls WAW

less is more with this product

Perhaps I was using this product wrong. I tried to use it as a daily spritz. I think this is probably better for people, who do not already have their own water mix. It is better than straight water, but it really did not do too much more for my hair.

I liked the smell of this very much, but I wasn't impressed overall. The spray bottle stopped working after a while, and I found I had to put on so much of it because the consistency was so watery. I need much more hydration for my curls, especially in winter.

Initially, I didn't really think this would really do anything to my hair, but it does. And it smells great! Love it! I use this and the hair dew to revive my curls. They are both great because they don't disrupt my curl pattern and gives me 3-4 day hair, which I feel like is harder to get one you have a looser curl pattern. I didn't think I'd be able to get past 2nd day hair, but thanks to this, the dew...I can! Thanks Oyin! HG product!

Between this and juices and berries, I think I like this scent better. Except when I'm applying my camille rose naturals hair milk leave in, then the juices and berries goes real good with the smell of the hair milk. Shoot! I will just have to always have both! I can not wait to try the greg juice. I do not mind having three juices on hand at all times lol. Who needs body sprays? I have juice! haha. After styling my hair in twist, the remaining days this is all I use as a refresher. My hair is soooo soft. This goes great with my staple camille rose products.

I like this a lot, although the description really needs to be fixed! One, it says it's "oil-free" then says it includes "an essential oil blend nutritious to the scalp". Two, this is not "detangling" in any way. It's water based so it absorbs and doesn't provide any slip whatsoever. It is a good humectant spray though. I'm giving it just three stars because I can't figure out how to use it when the weather is dry.

LOVE this product, it's light enough for daily use but the moisture last all day. I use this as a pick me up when i feel my hair needs moisture. I like the spicy smell also.

Man, I really love this stuff. It definitely works super well with the oyin burnt sugar pomade because it seals in the moisture all day long. I only bought the sample size version, but after using up half of the bottle I'm going to stock up on this product! This will definitely be one of my staple products along with the pomade of course. :)

This is a product I would recommend to curlies, especially during the summertime when its exhaustingly hot and humid in many places. The smell is pleasant and fresh, but most importantly, it does what its suppose to do. After a summer day, my hair is uber soft and not greasy. I've also used this before hopping into the shower and the ingredients draw so much moisture to my hair. I love this stuff. The only reason I've withheld the 5th curl is because it's not a great detangler, despite the claim.

Greg Juice is a wondrous addition to my supply shelf. I love the fresh herbal/floral scent and my hair soaks it up. I have a mix of 3b/3c/4a and this takes care of all of them. I like that it dosen't leave a film on my hair or give it that sticky feeling. I got the sample size from Oyin but I will be upgrading.

I love Greg Juice! Its moisturizing and fresh smelling. My hair is a mix of 3C/4A textures and curly and straight in some areas...curly and kinky in others. It loves wet moisture and this is just that product. My double strand twist love it as well as my curly fro and twist out. I purchased my sample size direct from Oyin just to try. I will definitely size up next time. And maybe give the other juices a try as well.

Greg juice softens the hair when used a s a finishing spray and works well as a braid spray too. It smells great...kinda like Sprite.

I like the smell of this product and I like how it blends with the other products in this line to soften the smell of everything. I smells to me like Sprite or ginger beer. I'm not sure what it does but I use it as a leave in spritzer after I wash and to refresh dry hair. I purchased 2 bottles which I will continue to use but I don't know if I would use again but I like it more than just using water. I will keep an open mind.

It works more as a hair perfume than anything else. It adds moisture but you have to use a lot and it leaves the hair a bit sticky.

Okay I don't know what this stuff is supposed to do lol but it does nothing. Wet or dry and it makes detangling harder so if ur texas weather and have 3c/4b hair don't get this my fingers work better than this mess BUT when put under shine and define then I see a purpose. I only still use it cause I bought it

I really like this one! So, normally, I will twist my hair after washing and then a day later I will retwist it to stretch it out. I try to use something that is not wet, so that my hair will be elongated. I've tried shea butter (which I love) or something else that isn't wet. I sprayed this Greg Juice and thought it would be too wet and that my hair would curl up too much. Not the case at all. I sprayed it lightly and added more as I retwisted my hair. I let is sit for a few hours and took my twists out and then... I have this big twist out. My hair was moist, not wet. A little greasy (I might have used a little too much) but not yucky. My twists were out there! My hair was so soft and shiny. I will definitely use this again. I would like to use it with the shea butter and see what happens. This product got me excited.

This did nothing for my hair. Tried it as a refresher on dry hair -- made it fuzzy and greasy-looking. Tried it as a detangler on wet hair -- no such luck. Very disappointed. The only good thing goin' on here is the scent.

After using my kccc it works great to hydrate my curls. Even when I want to style my hair I use greg juice instead of wetting my hair and it maintains all the moisture that was in my I love the smell. I use this everyday. This is a product I would keep in stock at home.

This product (without rosemary oil)has a light citrusy-herbal smell to it. I was eager to use it, but couldn't really figure out what to use it for. As a refresher, it added water-based moisture to my hair which just made my hair puffy (and could be achieved with a spray bottle of water). It didn't work as a detangler for me either. Greg Juice also has a slippery consistency that I didn't like on my hands and hair. Okay product, but wasn't very useful to me.
