This is a specially-scented Burnt Sugar Pomade - scented with the fruity-delicious Juices & Berries fragrance! - is here to stay! Nothing has changed but the scent!
Does your hair love oils? Our "Burnt Sugar" Pomade with the Sugar Berry fragrance is a nourishing all-vegetable pomade and styling product named for the uniquely sweet, translucent, and fragrant quality of warm, homemade caramel.

Similar in texture to an old school 'hair grease,' This blend of oils, butters, and veggie waxes acts as a humectant and protectant for hair, increasing shine to a high glossy sheen and locking in moisture. It's packed with essential fatty acids to nourish scalp, and actually sinks into your hair and skin for a long lasting, non-greasy feeling. It's great for braids, imparts shine and moisture to loose hair, brushes nicely into the hairline for a glossy finish, and adds luster to locks! Contains virgin coconut cream, mango oil, and hempseed oil in a base of nourishing castor oil.

Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Glycine soja (Soybean) Oil, Organic Virgin Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Mangifera indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Olea europaea (Olive) Oil, Unrefined Cannabis sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Brassica oleracea italica (Broccoli) Seed Oil, Fragrance.

Yasss!!! I really like Oyin products! I really think that type 3 and 4 customers will get the best results. I am type 4b/c and I used the dew and followed up with the burnt sugar pomade on dry hair for a change. Nicley moisturized!! That is key for me!

This pomade works great! It seals in moisture very well and keeps my hair soft. The smell is of a STRONG berry smell. I thought I would like this fragrance better than the burnt sugar, but this kind of reminds me of an overpowering car air freshener. Its not bad but the smell gives me a headache since it does linger. I can't say that I will absolutely NOT repurchase this product. I would only buy it if the burnt sugar is unavailable and I can't find it anywhere else.

LOVE! This has definitely become one of my mainstays. It adds shine and moisture and just a little bit goes a LONG way! I'm just not running out and I've had it for quite a while. Again.... LOVE! ^_^

I love this stuff! My hair wasn't a fan the first time I used it, but it's much better now. I use a bit of it to smooth down frizz and to give definition to my french braids (I have layers that tend to fall out and this helps keep them in place). I also use a little bit of it as the last step of my routine when I wear my hair down to give added definition. I can't forget to mention that the smell is WONDERFUL.

This is my favorite Oyin scent. However, the product itself doesn't slick back my edges. I found it to be gritty like some of the other reviewers. I keep trying to use it to seal, but even when I rub it to melt it down it's too heavy for my hair. I really wanted this to work out, but after having it for 5 months.. I haven't found it to be all that beneficial.

sweeeet, i got the burnt sugar and decide to get the berries love the scent. i actually love both of their scents. they give like nice shine and softness it gives when using to seal. I also grease my scalp with it, a tiny bit goes a long way trust me, like a dime size each section of 4 goes along way in my own opinion and hair, my hair is medium thick.

I love the sugar berries pomade. It smells great and it's very good for 4c type hair like mine. I will purchase this product again

This smooths and softens my edges while giving them a soft hold. I've had girls, both natural and not, ask me what I use on my edges- this is it. I also use it on top of Oyin's hair dew for my twists and other styles. Great definition and shine, plus it makes my hair smell like berry bubblegum. When I use this combo my hair feels like baby hair (almost). I have no complaints. It doesn't build up and washes out easily. You only need a little; it sinks in wonderfully without feeling greasy.

So after reading the reviews for this pomade (including the apparently overly sweet smelling burnt sugar flavor) I reeeeally wanted to love this product, unfortunately it's not really as amazing as I'd hoped. This product doesn't really work well with my type 3 curls, it has this odd consistency that is heavy enough to stretch/weigh my curls down (don’t like) but isn't strong enough to tame frizz and usually by day 2-3 my hair (not my scalp) is oily - as if I had applied Cocoa butter or Shea butter to it. Not a horrible product, but it's just not for me.

I have 4C hair. I love this as a sealant! It melts between my hands very nicely. It really helps to keep my hair supple. I love the berry smell.

I purchased this product in Burnt Sugar scent and boy was it overwhelming. I did use this for my Bantu knots and when I untwisted the knots my hair was very soft and full of shine which was great. If only they had an unscented version then I would be in heaven with this product.

This product is amazing!! I use Jane Carter's nourish and shine and I found that this is a great substitute as it costs less. This is definitely a staple product going forward. Also, if you love the smell of sweet berries, you will LOVE the scent.

I have dense, low porosity hair. This is a great product. I used it to slick down my edges, seal my ends and to do two strand twists. I probably won't repurchase though because I can use castor oil to slick down my edges and seal my ends. It would save me more money.

I bought this product for my teenage son. He has to have perfect 360 degree waves and this product has definitely helped. When he first saw the name he was like, " Really Mom??" LOL. The texture is nice, not waxy but very moisturizing. A little definitely goes a long way. The smell is Very Berry for sure. It's a cross between fruity pebbles, grape and fruit punch kool aid. The smell is a bit strong at first but it fades away. His waves are staying nice and juicy so now I must go and pry him and his hairbrush out of the bathroom.

I wish there were a product like this that I didn't have to order online! It is like an old school grease, except it is not greasy and you can tell it has stellar ingredients. I like it as a sealer or paired with the shine and define for a super soft twist. I didn't find it gritty like other people do, but it is a little hard to work with. I have to scoop it up with my nails and melt it in my hands, which is a bit annoying. I think it will last for a good while. I was expecting the scent to be a bit more fragrant, but it smells slightly fruity and the scent doesn't last.

This did not slick back my edges. It just made them look shiny. I'm like the smell and I will try to see if it will work other ways for me like with sealing ends.

Smooths and defines my hair like no other. My hair and ends were so glossy and shiny after using it for the first time. This has already been added to my Holy Grail list!

This stuff is great! It seals moisture nicely without being too greasy (very important for my fine, normal/low porosity hair) and adds a fantastic smell to the hair! Also nice to scrunch out the crunch. Repurchase for sure! Only drawback is that mine was a bit gritty, however, all it takes is a bit more emulsifying in your hand. :)

I used this after I used the whipped pudding to complete 2 strand twists on my daughters 4c. I kept them in for about 2 days, her hair remained moisturized, and it had great hold. Her twist out had amazing definition even for a couple days after I untwisted them. Highly recommended, especially for those with extremely dry hair.

Adds amazing shine that I haven't seen in my hair. Turns dull looking hair into shiny hair. I prefer the smell of this pomade to Burnt Sugar Pomade and use it to seal my ends. I wish the product came unscented though. Smells like grape or a berry type punch or KoolAid. A little also goes a long way.

The smell is of strawberries and cranberries. It's quite lovely! I would give this product 5 stars, except I wish the smell were stronger. (Even though it is plenty, I'm just rather picky. I'm thinking of buying fragrance berries oils, and mixing it with a nourishing oil to use for added scent)
Also, my god am I impressed with the hold! I've been going natural, without relaxing for nearly a year now (in early September, one whole year! <3). The very front of my hair, at the roots, frizzes up like a mother bitch. Yet the rest of my roots are quite soft and manageable, it looks awfully strange. With this pomade my front roots smell of berries and are totally frizz-free!

I used this particular product over a leave-in to set my twist and also to seal my ends. It has a very light hold. I've had my twist in for two days so far and they haven't unraveled yet. This product also isn't oily which I like and it sinks in very well.

I use this product on my hair as well as my sons'. If it wasn't good, I wouldn't put it on their heads at all. It smells good, locks in moisture, and keeps their hair from looking dry. It's a must have.

I really like this! I heard this scent was limited edition, but I hope they keep it because I find the burnt sugar smell nauseating. I have used it so far over a leave in and styler to make my twists less crispy, and I used to to seal my ends and it's been working pretty well. It's a little oily if you use too much, but it sinks in really well too.

I love this product. The sugar and berries smell is not as off putting to me as the intense maple smell of the burnt sugar. The burnt sugar smell is so intense, it makes me feel nauseated. As a pomade, this works very well. It is a very nice blend of oils and cocoa butter.
