I've been having problems with dry scalp, itching, and flakes for the past few years. None of the OTC options did anything for me in the long run except dry out my scalp even more and worsen the problem. This spray is my holy grail. Doesn't weigh down hair even when not washing my hair for 3+ days. Stops flakes and itching. Better than anything.

A nice scalp spray that rids scalp of itchiness. Only need a small amount to be effective.

I'm caucasian and don't wear braids or twists, so I don't suffer from the itch and such associated with hair being tightly pulled. However, I have dandruff on the front of my scalp at my hairline and on my eyebrows, and this is the only thing that saves me when I get out of the shower and see flakes forming as I manipulate my hair and skin. Head & Shoulders only goes so far (and I'm not going to wash my face with it either) and putting coconut oil on the flakes doesn't make them disappear, so to have this is totally a lifesaver since my hair is black and the big chunky flakes are totally visible right above my forehead (cause this DOES make the flakes literally just... disappear. I have no idea how that works but I don't care as long as it works). I put some in one of those mini sprayers from Sally Beauty that hold like barely an ounce, so I can concentrate 3 little sprays right along the hairline and dab it in with my fingers, and then while my fingers are still damp with it I rub them all around my eyebrow area (in between space and temples get flaky too) and that takes care of my face as well. It can have the tendency to make my hair look kind of flat and be stuck together if I get too much on the hair and not at the scalp so I'm careful to make a few parts and spray there, holding my sprayer practically touching my skin. I prefer using this product rather than doing a coconut oil pre-wash treatment, which is a nice all-natural treatment, sure, but it also means walking around with a drippy sopping wet hairline/forehead for a few hours before my shower. Ain't nobody got time for that, so hopefully this product stays in production for a very very long time.

I love this product, but it is harder to use on dry hair, especially long hair. I found the absolutely best way to use this is to lift my hair and spray it on my scalp right where it needs it most. This helps control the itch and flakiness until my next cleanse.

This is a wonderful twist refresher. My scalp is less itchy when I use this elixir. I wish it came in a larger bottle but a little goes a long way.

This is my least fav item from the Shea Moisture's African Black Soap line. It actually made my scalp itch more. I used it as the instructions indicated but nonetheless, it did absolutely nothing for my scalp psoriasis. SM needs to go back to the drawing board with this one. Sorry guys.

I can only give this 3 curls because of the way it smells and how it feels on my scalp. I use this once every few days but the itching hasn't really stopped. It only stops for the moment. I don't know if I'm supposed to use this every single day, but I may just do that. But even then I don't think anything will change. However I did add tea tree oil to it, so hopefully the itchiness in my scalp will cease.

It soothes the itch and it stop the flame like feeling. It also has helped my really bad patches.
