Nice texture, similar to a "typical" sulfate shampoo. It doesn't do wonder to my hair, but it does clean and I don't feel my hair striped.

I absolutely love this product it's the best shampoo I have ever used it gets your hair very clean without stripping the hair. It's smells like baby shampoo which I don't mind it's worth every penny

cleans well, natural ingedients, of course my hair doens't feel moisturized after it since it is a protein treatment. I used it for 5 months, with other shea moisture products. My hair was indeed healthier.
I recommend to combine it with other products from the same brand, but for moisture.

Finding good hair products for fine hair can be really hard. Generally the shampoo is very harsh and strips the hair to volumize it, and then you don't get much moisture put back in with the conditioner. For a sulfate free shampoo, this actually lathered up a little bit which I liked. I love love love the smell; like Downy fabric softener, very mild and clean. It did an awesome job of getting the gunk out of my hair while still being very gentle. While using this shampoo I noticed less fallout then usual, although I can't say for sure that my hair got thicker. but I had my Mom use it and definitely ended up noticing a difference in the volume and thickness of her hair.

Overall a really good low-poo. Just not special enough in my opinion to justify spending $10.

I really love this shampoo. I bought it mostly because of its protein and oil properties. It cleanses great and moisturizes my hair wonderfully. In fact I think it's the -most- moisturizing sulfate free shampoo I've every used and I -love- to product hop. It gets 4 curls only because of the smell. I'm personally not a huge fan of it and I can not cover it up. It is always the more dominant scent of all my products.

I have thick hair so I didn’t use this product for its thickening properties (purchased this for my boyfriend who has thin hair) but because I was all out of my product and it made my hair feel very soft after using. The scent was a bit much for me which was something I disliked very much about it. It seemed to overpower by own fragrance and lingered well throughout the day. If you enjoy products that have stronger smells then you’ll love this but that was the only drawback for me.

I've been using this product for about 2 months now . I really love the smell! It does cleanse my hair very well but after I shampoo my hair doesn't feel so moisturized and soft. After I use the conditioner from this line my hair is so soft and very moisturized! I have seen a difference in the thickness of my hair

I like this shampoo a lot. It smells nice kind of like Pantene back in the day. This shampoo is also very moisturizing, but I have not noticed any difference in my hairs volume or thickness. Hence the four star rating.

I was hesitant to try this shampoo because I was afraid that it wouldn't leave my hair as soft as the other two shampoos by Shea Moisture. My hair isn't as soft with this, but my hair isn't dry with it either. I like the extra boost of volume it gives and I prefer this smell over the others.

Good stuff! It's get the job done, feels and smells really nice. My hair is soft afterwards even before I condition. Considering what natural hair products are costing these days, I guess 10 bucks for 12 oz is a decent deal and I can grab it locally. (I also like the conditioner, mist, and growth milk from this line)

my hair did feel thicker once i used this but it made my hair feel much to dry. It is a good clarifying shampoo I just have to dilute the shampoo and use a good conditioner afterwards.

This shampoo is fantastic! It smells amazing like the rest of the products in the Yucca and Baobab line, and it works really well. It lathers well without any of the harsh sulfates you find in other shampoos. It left my hair feeling clean but not stripped. It's an excellent shampoo for no-poo curlies

Great shampoo. Very gentle. It also goes a long way so don't be turned off by its size. It lathers very well with only a little bit. Clarifies well without stripping hair
