This stuff is heavenly. For all of the ladies saying it drys up, coconut oil is supposed to do that. When in room temperature coconut oil is thick and hard. What I do is I put the entire bottle in warm water when i'm putting in my leave-in, and by the time I am done with that it is melted and ready to put in. It needs to be in warm water for at least a minute for it to melt again. DO NOT GIVE UP ON COCONUT OIL, it has saved my hair. My hair fell out in high school due to swimming in chlorine too much, and this restored my curls within 3 months of consistent use (with a leave-in and moisturizer). I do wish they sold this in a bigger bottle, but if you go to Winco they sell it in a huge bottle for about $10.

My mother used to hand-press coconut oil, heat it, and give me a spoonful of it with a pinch of salt to treat my asthma. I didn't like the taste as a child, but smelling this oil brought a wave of nostalgic memories that almost brought me to tears. It even tasted like hers! I had to heat it up (by placing the bottle in a bowl of hot water) because it solidifies in the bottle with the slightest drop of temperature. Even when solid, it still goes on light; lighter than olive oil, but not as light as jojoba. I use it after a leave-in and before a cream (LOC method) as well as a pre-shampoo or on my ends. I also use it on my face and elbows. I have no doubts as to this product's purity, however, after dropping the bottle and having (thankfully only) the cap break, I realize it would be easier to use in a solid form. I will definitely be purchasing from this brand again.

when I bought this it was good then I put it in a container because I didn't want the glass to break do not put it in a container because it will go solid it's not going to be oil anymore and its going to stick in the container.

I did not have a good experience with my first brand of coconut oil (itching & a terrible smell). But after hearing everyone rave about coconut oil, I decided to give it another shot with a different brand, Sunny Isle, and I am so glad I did. It feels so good on my hair, it smells pleasant and it doesn't make me itch. Needless to say, this is now one of my staple oils.

Wow, really like this oil. It penetrates the hair shat without leaving a greasy feeling. May hair was well moisturized. I will continue to use this oil.

I love love love this coconut oil!! I use it as a sealant after my leave-in conditioner; it's not heavy and leaves my hair very soft.

This is my absolute favorite product out of the whole line (so far)! I'm a huge fan of coconut oil to begin with and what sets this one apart from others that I have tried, is the heavenly scent. It's not a heavy scent, just slightly coconutty. I use it to finger detangle my hair while it's dry. The packaging could be a little more user friendly (it'd probably be easier to use if it was in a container similar to the pomades), but other than that I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product. Love it!
