The Pimento Oil has a pleasant scent and is very soothing on my scalp. It did seem to add a little sheen to my hair and it's a product that I like and will continue to use.

I like this oil for sealing! I have type 4 low porosity hair, and my hair likes oils that are not too thick in consistency. The consistency is a bit lighter than the normal jamaican black castor oil. Also, I like the smell of this oil much more than the normal jamaican black castor oil. Overall, I loved this product, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a sealing oil.

Summary: Texture like Olive Oil; No Scent; No Detectable Hair Growth Results.
I purchased two bottles of this product 2 years ago from CurlMart. I have waist+ length low-porosity 4B hair. I had some hair loss at the temples due to treatment for an illness. I applied this product daily to one temple & a similar product to the opposite temple for six months. There was little progress on the areas where Sunny Isle Jamaican Organic Pimento Oil was applied. The Pimento (Jamaican Allspice), Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO), Eucalyptus & Peppermint oils all have strong distinctive scents & "tingles" when applied to the skin. This product had no characteristic scent or tingle. The texture is similar to olive oil. I do not recommend this product to promote hair growth. Tropic Isle Living Strong Roots Red Pimento Hair Growth Oil was more effective.

From long term protective styles I've experienced some thinning of my hair at my temples and behind my ears due to the tight up do extensions. I've been using this for about a month or so and I see noticeable new growth at my roots. Whereas plain cold pressed castor oil didn't show any results this fast. I use it loyally to my scalp as well as in my hot oil treatments. Other than the smell it works, totally worth the money.

I absolutely love this oil!!! Its amazing for keeping my hair moisturized after applying my leave in. The only thing is where is the peppermint??? I don't smell it or feel any tingle....oh well it works!! As for as hair growth I'll have to update my review for that because I've only been using this for a week so to be continued....

I have 3c/4a hair. I needed an oil that would help with moisture and growth. I like the smell of this oil since its a blend. I tend to have dry itchy scalp and I trust this oil will be beneficial. A little of this oil throughout the hair and scalp makes my hair softer and tangle free. I plan to try other products from this brand, specifically the oils.

I have been using this on my edges for the past week. I lost a lot of hair on my edges after removing my braids and wanted to try something that would help regrow it. Not too fond of the smell but it is castor oil after all. I apply it in the morning and at night to my hair line and the nape area. Those areas are prone to dryness and breakage. I have notice some growth already but plan to continue to use for at least 3 months to get the full effect.

This is my first time trying this product. I like the smell and my hair seem to be softer and easier to manage. I have had some hair thinning in the front of my head and I am hoping this will help my growth. I'll keep using it and would try other products in the line.

I really like this as an overnight or hot oil treatment. It feels tingly on the scalp and smells slightly of peppermint. The applicator makes it easy to apply so it is very user friendly and there is minimal mess. It's thicker than coconut and argan oil, but thinner than the other castor oils I tried, which is just perfect for me!
